  1. Diagonal Mid-Rises

    I made these to fill in some of the spaces in diagonal blocks. They're inspired by apartment buildings in NYC. Included are three models, each with two different color/mirror variations for a total of six lots. They are in the Landmark menu and cost $100 each to plop. No dependencies.

  2. Masjid Salim Abu Muslim (Beit Lahia Great Mosque)

    This is a simplified rendition of the Masjid Salim Abu Muslim (مسجد سليم أبو مسلم), a beautiful modern W2W mosque from the town of Beit Lahia in the northern Gaza Strip, Palestine. A small farming town for most of its history best known for producing strawberries and citrus fruits, Beit Lahia underwent massive growth in the 21st century with the construction of the Beit Lahia housing project, in which more than 13,000 housing units were built to ease overcrowding in the nearby Jabalia refugee camp, carry out a programme of urban renewal and beautification (in tandem with attempts to improve the nearby wastewater treatment plant), and—after 2008—provide homes for those displaced by war. This saw the population grow from about 38,000 to over 90,000. This renewal and growth spurred the Salim Abu Muslim mosque, previously based in a much smaller building, to seek to expand to new premises.
    This new building was completed in 2018. Situated on the town's main street, just north of the Beit Lahia project, the mosque quickly became a local landmark with its characteristic turquoise dome, blue-tinted windows and richly decorated interior. There are not many photos of the building available, which is why I reduced the east wall, abutting the shops, to a blank wall (it had windows and other details in reality). It was also built on the side of a hill, such that the back (south) wall is significantly shorter than the front, and the main entrance at the corner of Ramla Street had a more extended stairwell and ramp which I did not model in the interests of keeping the building within a 4x2 footprint. I also did not model the interior.
    Unfortunately, like many buildings in the northern Gaza Strip it was almost completely destroyed in November 2023 by Israeli forces during the ongoing war and genocide in the Gaza Strip, which has forced much of the population of Beit Lahia to flee. For the time being, this commemorative model will have to stand in.

  3. Hjorthagen School Relot

    This primary school features two buildings: a large structure from the early 20th century and a newer one, probably built around the 1980's for extra capacity. The 5x4 lot also comes with a small square for kids to play around during recess. Bike storage is available in the front and back. Cars can park in the back. The driveway is transit enabled for streets, making it easy to connect this to existing road networks. It has the same stats as the original building by @koumus: 18$ 20$$ and 2$$$ jobs, and a capacity of 500 students.
    The attached screenshots show my custom pavement (created through @rsc204's MTRDK) and grass (Lowkee's Appalachian terrain mod). As far as I know the used texture ID's are standard, so it should work whether or not you're using particular mods. Let me know in the comments if you run into any trouble!

  4. Greek Temples

    Description:
    I found these nice temple props made by @debussyman by coincidence among my plugins. Since I couldn't find any plugin uploaded on the STEX containing lots with these props (except the Temple of the STEX Goddess), I just decided to make my own. This plugin contains 4 ploppable lots in the Landmark menu, each with a temple and a few decorations. They don't do anything special, but they have some landmark effect. The internal prop names refer to 4 people/deities from ancient Greek mythology; I decided to keep these names.
    For exact lot details, please read the Readme. This plugin is available in English and German, the game picks the language automatically.
    Submenu Compatibility: All people using memo’s Submenus DLL mod will find these temples packed into their own submenus in the Landmark menu. Please refer to the Readme to see how the submenu icon looks like.

  12. Grimstad Pharmacy

    This small 1x1 pharmacy lot is designed to fit in W2W environments, particularly those with Scandinavian themes. You'll find it in the menu with your other health and medical related buildings. It's named after the Norwegian town of Grimstad, but as far as I know it's not located there.
    Special thanks to @Oidaas for creating such a wonderful building!

  13. Bell Canada Microwave Relay Tower, HD Version

    This is the updated 3ds HD version of the 2nd release of the Towers of Steel Project. The Bell Canada Microwave Relay Tower is a 160m tall microwave relay lattice tower(556ft/169m to the antenna tip) located in Toronto, Canada. The tower has a relatively simple structure which allows for objects behind it to be seen clearly through it. There are two versions, one with the darker real life textures and another with grey metallic and rusted texture. Some industrial high tech cap relief is also provided.

    This « Sport Center » is not exactly finished, I had many other things in head but it remains useful as it and after 2700 lots I don’t have the will and energy to do more.

    TIPS
    Use one side paths and alleys to bring access to basket ball, tennis courts and volley field. Use converters to link one side paths and alleys to narrow paths.

    INSTALL
    1 - Expand the zip file. You get a folder named « PGX - SPC Sport Center (Health) ». Drop it as it is in the « PGX - THE THING » folder. Open the chapter subfolder. Sort it by alphabetical order.
    In subfolders, each lot is separated and has an ID under the form « SPCxxx » or « SPC-TCxxx » for its identification in subfolders and to figure its order of appearance at the bottom of the Health menu. You can keep all of them or pick up what you want and delete the others or store them appart for later use. Use pictures as catalog, numbers are matching with IDs.

    This is the updated 3ds HD version of the 1st release of the Towers of Steel Project. The Russian-sytle TV Tower is 630ft/192m tall radio tower located in the city of Murmansk, Russia. The tower is of a fairly common Russian design. The lot can be found at the very bottom of the Landmark menu. There are two versions, a 2x2 lot with dependencies(the beige radio station building & the green fences) and a 1x1 lot without dependencies. Some commercial cap relief is also provided.
