    Hi everybody! I have not been here for months. I can feel my interest in modding is vanishing. I try to be happy with my retirement. Please visit World of Banished for more and the latest mods, as I am still half-active there. I hope Banished will live long and prosper. Kid

    Kid - Tool Emporium V1.10 - A resurrected Tool Emporium with several new textures. A mod focusing on tool production. There are many mods using iron ore instead of iron. This is made to supplement them. (the image upload didn't work) Tool Smith - The usual business. Tool Shed - Stores only tools. Capacity=6000. Mine - To get iron ore and coal. Max 3200. Removable. Ore Furnace - Melts iron ore into iron. Tool Trader - Sell your production and buy (almost) anything. Tool Tower - He can not make gold but his tools are the best. Changes iron tools into steel tools. No value gain. Just better tools.

    Kid - Tree Topper V1.1 Here are some new treehouses. There are 4 of them and they all have 6 textures to choose from. V1.1 Added another texture mix. Also included are my Tree Trunkers Forester, Gatherer, Herbalist, and Hunter. The pictures are taken in spring, without leaves. All trees are large oaks.

    Kid - Bakery & Garden Alternative V1.2 This is the alternative version of Bakery & Garden. I kept the name so you can not load both at the same time. Version 1.0 First, I have changed the output of the farming plots to more useful products. It was to support some of my other mods and have a more 'vanilla' setting. Added straight version of angled houses. Added 3 cottages for 3 persons each. Added 3 ghosted planters for ghosted greenhouses with plots. Added deco crops for your empty plots. Potato, oats, corn, and a generic vegetable. Changed Tropical greenhouse to Fruit House with Plum tree and Berries. You get a small plot to grow some plants. You add deco plants. I have added ghosted planters if you want them. You can cover your plot with a ghosted greenhouse. To change what to grow - click the shed outside. From Old Bakery and Garden: A pumpkin greenhouse for that delicious pie. Sunflower greenhouse and an oil press. A mill and a bakery. Herb garden, to grow and harvest herbs and spices. And a storage building for vegetables, fruit, grain, and herbs. A fence to keep the bannies on the path. In this mod, there is everything to make a Spiced Pumpkin Pie. It isn't easy but it has a nice trade value. You can make fruit pies with common fruits and berries. Update V1.01 - Fixed correct limit for herbs in Herb Garden Update V1.1 - Somehow the plums never made it into the version with the herb fix. Now they are back where they belong. I am truly sorry for any inconvenience! Update V1.2 - Added several retextured buildings. Chapel, School, Healer, Sheepshed, Animal Shed, Smith, Tailor, Town Hall, Grain Silo, and a Trader. Some smaller changes were made.

    Kid - Old Hovels V1.16 Included is a start scenario with 3 families, houses, a barn, school. They have seeds, but no livestock. Also included are my Old Fence, Fisherman, Smith, Forester, and a Mine. In V1.1 - added a Clerk, Trader, Tailor, Herbalist, WoodCutter, Bridge, and some Jetty pieces. edit - Oh, I forgot. I have added a second start with some new grass I made. If you want to use the start scenario, please place this mod above all other mods with a start scenario. If you only want the buildings, place the mod anywhere. No, I won't change to a red roof, add a tavern, bushes, or anything. ...well, maybe a tavern Okay! V1.11 - Here is a tavern V1.12 - Added another start scenario. 3 families medium-hard. A new cart with a deco version was added. V1.13 - Fixed the menu in the Clerk's Office V1.14 - Added a shed and fixed some small things V1.15 - Small but important update. Grass now spawns Flax. I added a few more buildings. A little bit better built. V1.16 - Just a Fish Dryer added. A small boost to the food supply. ...and a smoker, a gatherer. - a chapel and a doctor.

    Kid - Some Boats V1.3 5 boats - straight/angled and with/without sail. Ghosted deco. Free to build. V1.0 - A mod with 3 boat models I have found on the internet. I have converted and edited them for Banished. V1.1 - Added another boat I liked. This one is motorized but Banished is not all about old times. V1.2 - Added The Seagull from Gothic Tithes & Tributes. With black or white sails V1.3 - A few more boats. Some wrecked on the beach.

    Kid & Abandoned - Alotofseeds V2.0 On a request from Abandoned. I know you wanted a trader on land but I can not do that. It is a trader, who comes by river. But, he has a lot of seeds and he comes very often. Maybe he's a cheat, but he is good for a new game. The model is a retextured Colonial trader and the trader comes every five months with 12 seeds. It is a good chance he has got what you need. V2.0 is a major update. We have expanded on the seeds and included animals, fishing, a couple of jetties, some houses (related to water)

    A word about roads Adding a road to the game is simple. Just check my code. Test Road - source The priority of the roads is set by the line uchar _index = 621; in the template file. You must use a different number or all roads will change. The vanilla roads are 0 and 1. Now, the reason for this post. If you take a texture, it will hold 16x16 road tiles. I use a 1024x1024 texture. The texture is duplicated all over the map. All roads will be aligned. You can change to a higher resolution (2048x2048) but it will only be a little more detailed. Do not go lower than 1024x1024. The Test Road 621 has a half-transparent texture. I have set it to 127 (of 255). Test Road 622 has an opaque texture. It is not transparent. They are equal in the summer, but in winter, the opaque road is covered. You must add transparency to the texture for it to appear in winter! The way you make it transparent depends on your graphics program. You can test other levels of transparency. I have found that halfway is good.

    Kid - Garden Shed II Here my modding comes full circle... I dedicate this to RedKetchup. He has been there for me all this time and he was the one who started me modding...a garden shed. A small (2x2) shed for a town gardener (forester). It comes in 16 versions (on f-key), using textures from many of my mods. Radius=20 and a modest cost - 24 work/8 wood/8 stone.
