  3. Farm Barn

This model will appear in the part of farm work

A barn is an agricultural building usually located on farms and used for various purposes. In the North American area, a barn refers to structures that house livestock, including cattle and horses, as well as equipment and fodder, and often grain.
As a result, the term barn is often qualified e.g. tobacco barn, dairy barn, sheep barn, potato barn. In the British Isles, the term barn is restricted mainly to storage structures for unthreshed cereals and fodder, the terms byre or shippon being applied to cow shelters, whereas horses are kept in buildings known as stables.
On the Continent, however, barns were often part of integrated structures known as byre-dwellings (or housebarns in US literature). In addition, barns may be used for equipment storage, as a covered workplace, and for activities such as threshing.

The Congress Street Fire Station, now known as the Boston Fire Museum, is an historic fire station at 344 Congress Street in Boston, Massachusetts.
The Romanesque style station was designed by Harrison H. Atwood, then the city architect, and constructed in 1891. It is distinctive for its early use, within this style, of light-colored brick, and features a rusticated ground level and progressively more refined detailing as it rises.
The building was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1987 and was included in the Fort Point Channel Historic District in 2004. It now serves as the Boston Fire Museum.

    About the building
The Brooklyn Academy of Music (BAM) is a major performing arts venue in Brooklyn, New York City, known as a center for progressive and avant garde performance. It presented its first performance in 1861 and began operations in its present location in 1908.
Today, BAM has a reputation as a leader in presenting "cutting edge" performance and has grown into an urban arts center which focuses on both international arts presentation and local community needs. Its purpose is to provide an environment in which its audiences – annually, more than 550,000 people – can experience a broad array of aesthetic and cultural programs. From 1999 to 2014, BAM was headed by Karen Brooks Hopkins, President, and Joseph V. Melillo, Executive Producer. Katy Clark is now president, succeeding Hopkins who retired in spring 2015.
Harvey Theater, with 874 seats, formerly known as the Majestic Theater, named in Lichtenstein's honor in 1999. A renovation by architect Hugh Hardy left the interior unpainted and with often exposed stonework, giving theater a unique feel of a "modern ruin". In April 2014, CNN named the BAM Harvey as one of the "15 of the World's Most Spectacular Theaters." Today, the BAM Harvey has become the first choice of venues at BAM among directors and actors for presenting traditional theater.

    About the building
The Majestic Theatre is a performing arts theater in the City Center District of Downtown Dallas. It is the last remnant of Theater Row, the city's historic entertainment center on Elm Street, and is a contributing property in the Harwood Historic District. The structure is a Dallas Landmark and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
Designed by John Eberson under direction of Karl Hoblitzelle, the Majestic Theatre was constructed in 1920 as the flagship theater for Interstate Amusement Company, a chain of vaudeville houses. The $2 million Renaissance Revival structure opened on April 11, 1921 with a seating capacity of 2,800. It replaced a previous theater of the same name (located at Commerce Street and St. Paul Street) which burned down December 12, 1917. Operations of the Majestic were moved to the Dallas Opera House which was renamed the Majestic Theater until the new Majestic was completed.
The Majestic was the grandest of all the theaters along Dallas's Theatre Row which stretched for several blocks along Elm Street. The Melba, Tower, Palace, Rialto, Capitol, Telenews (newsreels and short-subjects exclusively), Fox (live burlesque), and Strand theatres were all demolished by the late 1970s; only the Majestic remains today.
The Majestic hosted a variety of acts from Houdini to Mae West and Bob Hope during the vaudeville era. Beginning in 1922, films were added to the regular vaudeville offerings. The theatre began hosting movie premieres and associated stars such as Jimmy Stewart, Gregory Peck, and John Wayne. The Big Bands featuring Cab Calloway and Duke Ellington continued the tradition of live entertainment at the Majestic.
In 1932, the Majestic began showing movies exclusively. It was known as the "man's house" featuring films of Humphrey Bogart, James Cagney and other macho heroes while the nearby Palace was known as the "laidies' house" featuring films with female leads. On July 16, 1973, the Majestic Theatre closed after the final showing of the film “Live and Let Die”.
The Hobilitzelle Foundation turned the Majestic Theater over to the City of Dallas in January 1976 and the theatre was restored for use as a performing arts center.
After restoring the exterior, the original Corinthian columns, balustrades, urns, and trellises of the auditorium were repaired and repainted. 23K gold leaf was reapplied to the extensive interior decorative accents. New seats were installed, and the number of seats was reduced from 2,400 to 1,570, to allow for an enlarged orchestra pit, the conversion of the second balcony to house advanced sound and lighting systems, and the division of the first balcony into box seating. The stage was given a resilient floor suitable for dance performances and Backstage space was expanded.
In 1977, the Majestic Theatre became the first Dallas building to be listed on the National Register of Historic Places. It received a Texas Historical Commission marker in 1983.
The theater was reopened on January 28, 1983. Today, the Majestic is regularly used for musical productions, dramatic plays, national pageants, dance, and concerts.

Requested by Boformer, built by me.

A great little building to add quirk to any cityscape.

  13. New Victory Theater

This is the high commercial version of My New Victory Theater
    About the model
Probably the most famous theater of Broadway, the New Victory Theater is part of my 42nd street series. Has two optional props, the billboard and the chandeliers. Make sure to subscribe to them.
This model has about 1999 tris and a 2048x512 texture, with a diffuse, shadow, normal, illumination, color and specularmap. This model has a custom LoD, which is about 48 tris with a 256x256 texture, with a diffuse, color  and illumination map.

    About the building
Built by Oscar Hammerstein I in 1900 and designed by architect Albert Westover, the theater opened as the Theatre Republic on September 27, 1900, with Lionel Barrymore in James Herne's play Sag Harbor. It was the third theater built on West 42nd Street. Inside the theater, the elaborately decorated interior was crowned with a large dome that featured lyre-playing cherubs (or putti in Italian) perched on its rim. Amazingly, all of the original putti and one lyre still remain today.
Two years later the house was leased by David Belasco, who renamed it the Belasco Theatre and made major renovations to both the house and the stage. Belasco produced a series of plays at the theater starring Mrs. Leslie Carter, George Arliss, Mary Pickford, and Lillian Gish.
In 1910 the name became Republic Theatre when Belasco renamed his Stuyvesant Theatre on West 44th Street for himself. The Republic's most famous tenant during this time was the play Abie's Irish Rose, which ran for 2,327 performances between 1922 and 1927.
Billy Minsky converted the Republic into Broadway's first burlesque house in 1931, calling it Minsky's Burlesque. It remained as such until 1941. Minsky built a double runway down the middle of the auditorium for his strippers, the most famous of whom was Gypsy Rose Lee.
In 1942, it became a movie theater called The Victory, patriotically named in honor of the World War II conflict. In 1972, as the neighborhood gradually disintegrated, it became the first theater on 42nd Street to exhibit XXX pornographic films. In the early 1990s, the Victory returned to legitimate theater, using its stage space as a venue for offering plays by non-profit companies. It presented the En Garde Arts company's production of the play Crowbar in 1990 and in 1991 the Theater for a New Audience offered Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet, followed by other productions.
In 1990, New York City, together with the State of New York, jointly took possession of the Victory. In 1992, it was one of seven 42nd Street theaters to fall under the auspices of The New 42nd Street, Inc., a non-profit corporation set up to oversee the redevelopment of these historic theaters and operate three projects: The New Victory Theater, The New 42nd Street Studios and The Duke on 42nd Street.
The Victory was the first theater to be restored in an effort to revitalize 42nd Street and Times Square, and between 1994 and 1995 it underwent an $11.4 million renovation headed by Hugh Hardy of the architectural firm of Hardy Holzman Pfeiffer Associates. The restoration included rebuilding the original exterior double staircase that had been removed in 1911 for the widening of West 42nd Street, and returning the rest of the theater to much the way it looked during the Belasco era.
On December 11, 1995, the refurbished theater, renamed The New Victory Theater, opened as New York's first theater for kids and families. Upon its reopening, it became once more the oldest operating theater in New York City.

    Video game
The façade of The New Victory Theater is in the video game Grand Theft Auto IV. During the sequence in "Liberty City's" fictionalized 42nd Street/Times Square, the theater is featured. In the game, the theater is called the Liberteen and presents shows like Banging Trash Can Lids for an Hour. And now we get to enjoy it aswell in Cities: skylines.

  14. Foxwoods theather (high commercial lvl 1)

This a high commercial version of this building. Grows on lvl 1 . You can find the steam leisure version in the side bar.
    About the model
This is a cutesk small theater, it's part of my 42nd street series. The facade gave me some headaches, because there are no clear pictures of it. So it's mainly photoshopped together. Model is very light, but has a very distinctive shape.
This model has about 570 tris and a 1024x512 texture, with a diffuse, shadow, normal, illumination and specularmap. This model has a custom LoD, which is about 36 tris with a 256x128 texture, with a diffuse, specular and illumination map.

    About the building
This is based of the 43rd street facade of the Apollo theater.
The Apollo was built in 1920 by the Selwyn Brothers as one of a pair of theatres designed by Eugene De Rosa with a unified facade on West 42nd Street incorporating both theatres' entrances. The other, called the Times Square Theatre, occupied the rest of the 42nd Street frontage, while the Apollo was behind it, on 43rd Street. To the east of them stood the Lyric Theatre. The Apollo was initially a musical theatre venue for such works as the Gershwin musical Strike Up the Band and George White's Scandals. As in many other playhouses of the 1920s, movies often played the Apollo during its run as a "legitimate" house; in 1922, for example, Silver Wings, Around the World With Burton Holmes, and two D. W. Griffith films, Orphans of the Storm and One Exciting Night, had engagements.
By the early 1930s the Apollo had been turned into a film venue exclusively. It returned to serving as a theatre in the late 1970s, but this venture failed and the Apollo ended its existence as a night club. The building was neglected, fell into disrepair, and was condemned. In 1990 it was among the 42nd Street theatres repossessed by the City and State of New York and in 1992 came under the protection of the New 42nd Street organization. It was demolished in 1996.
Some of the theatre's architectural features, including the Proscenium arch, which were protected by landmark status, were removed and later incorporated into the Ford Center for the Performing Arts, now the Lyric Theatre, which was built on the sites of the Apollo and former Lyric.

  22. TLC Toll Booth Collection

My very first upload to the Exchange is a full collection of turnpikes I've worked on over the last few months. It comes with five different versions allowing you to build toll booths practically anywhere. I am planning to create more versions later (like small ones for two-lane roads), but I think this set is quite complete as is.

=== TLC series of TOLL BOOTH TURNPIKES ===

This experimental series of turnpike structures provides patrol coverage directly through your motorways. At this time these do not generate money, so they are mostly for adding a visual landmark in front of bridges etc. You can find the entire TLC collection above, with more info and direct links down below.

The A1, A2 and L models should be placed on flat terrain, as the base model is designed to overlap parts of existing roads and it cannot curve along bumps. The S1 and S2 are more compact and userfriendly; these can be placed practically anywhere. No mods are required, but traffic mods might be a good idea to solve any wonky lane bias.

The terraform tool is a must if you are building on an uneven surface.

This entry is outdated. For the most recent versions I suggest you subscribe to the ones linked above. I'm not planning to update this because it's more easy to keep track of Workshop assets.
If you pirated the game, bad luck, these assets probably will not work for you.

  23. Colossal Mills Cereal Factory

This is my first building for this game. Give your industrial area a boost with this factory/tourist attraction.
    History:
Colossal Mills is the largest cereal factory in the region founded 50 years ago by Jack Methanial who discovered the rich fiber from his corn fields that drastically helped cure his constipation. He helped many others stay regular too. He was not only a farmer but a pastry chef. His sweetened crispy corn recipe became famous and that was the beginning of a very successful cereal company. He called it Chirpy Krisps which is the flagship product. He later added blue marshmallows made with a heavily guarded recipe. Chirpy Krisps is a big hit worldwide.
Recently the doors were open to the public so people can get a closer look at where their favorite cereal is made.
Upon entering the building, a raffle ticket is given along with an empty container to scoop warm Chirpy Krisp puffs that comes down a conveyer belt straight from the oven. It's great out the box but nothing beats the experience at the factory.
Inside there is a bar and restaurant with master chefs who make everything from a fancy bowl of cereal to entrees you would find in upscale steak houses. They also have some of the best cheesecakes in the region that come in many flavors including the cereal brands. One of the favorites is the Chirpy Shmores. It's a larger version of the corn puffs freshly hand made with the famous melted blue marshmallow between. This decadent treat brings tourists from near and far.
Inside is a gift shop too with souvenirs and cook books.
Winners of the raffle get a dozen of Krispy shmores and a voucher for a dozen boxes of their favorite cereals made at the factory. That's why there are prepared people walking in with suitcases. Other cereal brands include Fruity Shrooms, Strawberry Moo flakes and Chocobits.
