About This File

Info:

This is the 1st release of the Towers of Steel Project. The Murmansk TV Tower is 630ft/192m tall radio tower located in the city of Murmansk, Russia. The tower is of a fairly common Russian design. The lot can be found at the bottom of the Landmark menu. Provides some commercial cap relief. There are two versions, one with dependencies(the beige building & the green fences) and another without.

Landmark Effect: 20 over 10 tiles
Mayor Rating Effect: 30 over 15 tiles

This looks good! I can't tell you how hard it is to find a decent number of radio/TV tower to stick on my mountains and in my less populated areas. Thank you!

Yes indeed. It's beautiful and from what I can see in your images the scale is nice: not too high, not too tiny.

Do you mean the pulsing yellow circle? It a prop call 'radio effect' used on the in-game radio tower. I though it would be good to add it to mine as well though perhaps I was mistaken and its better without it? That prop can be deleted from the lot if you have the Maxis LotEditor program or the SC4PIM. I think the ilive reader can also be used to remove props from a lot, though I'm not completely sure about that. But otherwise it can't be removed without those programs.

I love the design, but I wish it were in Zip format, not .rar, regardless if I'm too lazy to download a .rar "unzipping" program

After translation; Sorry to be honest I don't know much about Murmansk, but there's no tall lattice tower that I don't know about.
