From the streets of Scarborough in England, I bring you the Tap and Spile pub.

Grimsby is now one of the most depressed towns due to the collapse of the fishing trade... but in its time the fishing trade spawned many spin-off industries such as Keith Graham, a fish curing plant on Cross Street down by the docks.

  7. The Barley Mow

You are very, very kind. It has a sort of off-white stucco, yellowed with age, so I tried using something that looked a bit like sandstone.

I began working on this Pub in Bedford, England as it seemed to represent a specific style of Mock Tudor, common in 1930s and 1950s England. Not until I was nearing completion did I realise that it is a landmark, being the longest established gay bar in Britain. Then again, considering the monumental rate at which even high traffic pubs are closing due to the severely adverse tax and regulatory regime that they face in Britain, it is clear that, increasingly, only Specialist pubs, are likely to have much of a chance of survival.

This traditional British style fish and chip shop is closely modeled on the Tasry Tuck Fish Bar, a popular venue in Tavistock Road, Bedford, England.

Closely based on "The Palais" in Dennistoun, a working class suburb of Glasgow. Built in the early 20th Century as a dance hall, it later became a rollerskating rink. At the end of its life it became a supermarket.

I am surprised at how nice this looks! Over 60% of all crime in Canada occurs with three separate square miles. One of those is downtown Hull in Quebec. And at it core is Rue Frontenac and Rue St Jacques which holds the ominous distinction of being the last place in Canada where public executions were held. At the junction of these two roads stands this house, a tumbledown slum, almost always occupied by those with long criminal records and invariably spaced out on hard drugs.

      You're welcome. *:)

I also edit in a linky pointing to your STEX file when you post in the Working On thread. Feel free to do that like I do, or I can continue to update them as I see them. *;)

Hermes of Paris is one of the most respected names in the fashion industry. From fine leather apparel to men's suit for Wall Street traders, from summer dresses to perfume, Hermes has only the best. But, shop with care, even their budget range of men's ties start at $325 each. The Hermes that I have completed is based on their store in Madison Avenue in downtown New York.
