Hey there guys - I'm presenting you with a pack of 17 residential buildings. These 3-storeys buildings are very common here in Brazil - and I believe it would look good and match the environment of other tropical places around the world as well. They come in 5 different models with 3 to 5 color variations. Nightlights included. Dependencies: MS Motokloss 60s-70s Car Props As always: any criticism, reviews and problems, just write below or in my BAT thread. -

Descripción en español incluida en la documentación Though this building may look completely european, it is based on the Anthropology Museum from the city of Merida, Mexico. This building can serve an entire city tile and is an enhanced alternative to the Maxis Major Art Museum. It costs more but has more benefits: besides having an effect over sims of all ages (though the effect is greater on older ones) it offers a few civic jobs and no condition has to be met to build it. It doesn’t replace the original museum, so you can have both in your city. You can also build it more than once Stats: Size: 5x3 Monthly cost: §400 maximum Capacity: 36000 visitors CAP* relief: 6000R§§, 6000 §§§ *CAPs are growth limits that the game imposes on cities; they represent the maximum residential, commercial or industrial development a city can have. Lifting each category’s CAPs increases the limit and allows development to continue. Parks, rewards, neighbor connections, among other things provide CAP relief. You can find more detailed information here. Dependencies: Make sure you have all this files installed on your Plugins: *BSC Mega Props DBSSYMN Vol. 1 *BSC Mega Props D66 Vol. 2 *BSC Mega Props CP Vol. 1 *BSC Textures vol 2 *BSC Textures vol 3 LBT Mega Prop Pack * You must be registered at the LEX in SimCity4 Devotion to download. Notes: I did not make the model and do not claim any credit for it, all credit goes to Debussyman. You can alter this lot for personal use and redistribute your modifications (say, if you want to turn it into a mansion or a monument). The modding of this buildings was made using the PIM-X tool, and it was tested in a big city If you run into any issues, or want to see other things I'm working on, pay a visit to my lot thread in Simtropolis, you can also PM me here @Edvarz. If you want to know more about the real building, you can google “Palacio Cantón”, it’s a landmark in the city of Mérida, Yucatan, en México.- 3 Comments

The Parque Central Complex (Central Park) is a housing, commercial and cultural development, implemented by Centro Simón Bolívar (CSB) and located in the area known as El Conde in the center of the city of Caracas, Venezuela. Within the complex are the Twin Towers of Parque Central which are two skyscrapers that, for decades, have become Caracas' architectural icon. From 1979 (when the West Tower was opened) until 2003, they held the title of tallest skyscrapers in Latin America until they were overtaken by Torre Mayor in Mexico City. Today the Parque Central Towers are South America's second tallest skyscrapers and the third tallest in Latin America, after Costanera Center in Santiago (Chile) and Torre Mayor in Mexico City. Parque Central towers were the tallest twin buildings in Latin America, now the Edifício Yachthouse in Balneário Camboriú - Brazil, owns the title. When the complex was finally opened in 1983, it was considered the "most important urban development in Latin America". Since then Parque Central is a point of reference in Caracas and its main landmark. It houses many cultural and government institutions and is adjacent to the cultural district of museums in Caracas. -

The building is covered by a vegetable mesh and is self-sustaining since it produces 100% of the electrical energy consumed by vertical wind turbines. English The third installment in my Lat Am Project, which seeks to revive and remaster forgotten latin american content from various creators. This pack brings to you 9 lots featuring 8 building models from LBT members Elegost/Berethor07 and Tcxalapa. These are all latin american historic buildings; this pack's contents range from small hostels to the Grand Diligencias Hotel from the city of Veracruz, Mexico. They're perfect for an old city centre! There's medium and high wealth commercial services and a couple of medium wealth offices, plus a residential version for the hotels and hostels. The lots come in 2x2, 2x3, 4x3 and 4x4 lots, and develop on low, medium and high density zones. They are modded so that they only grow when the “Chicago” tileset is selected (in the building styles menu), you can control where and when to develop them this way. Ingame, they will also show the name of the building in Spanish or Portuguese if your SimCity 4 is installed in any of these languages, If it is installed in any other language the names will show in English. If you want to plop them you can use the LotPlop command and search for them between your commercial buildings, the lots follow the default naming convention. You'll need either of the avaliable Extra Cheats dlls. You can check the included bilingual documentation for a full catalogue and more info on stats and so on. Dependencies Make sure you download and install the files marked as essential in your Plugins, if you don't, you will get brown boxes instead of the actual buildings! Some textures will also be missing. The files marked as optional add details to the lots, although they're not strictly necessary, installing them is recommended to get the full detailing. Essential: LBT Colonial models by Elegost LBT Colonial models by tcxalapa LBT Mega Texture Pack Optional: LBT Mega Prop Pack vol 01 BSC Mega Props CP vol 01 (Requires registration on SC4Devotion's LEX, LEX and SC4D forums accounts are different) Romualdillo Props vol 01 (Also requires LEX registration) Other recommended downloads This set of buildings will mix nicely with other content made by this creators: Adrianor Debussyman Harishna Maloskero Notes I did not make the model(s) and do not claim any credit for them, all credit goes to Elegost/Berethor07 and Tcxalapa. However, I did give the buildings their stats and made lots for them, you can edit those lots or the descriptor files however you want, for personal use. You can't redistribute any of the included content, but you can use it to make new creations. The modding of this buildings was made using the PIM-X tool, so there shouldn't be any problem with these buildings throwing the game off balance. If you run into any issues, or want to see other things I'm working on, pay a visit to my lot thread in Simtropolis, you can also PM me there @Edvarz. Enjoy!- 5 Comments

Attending at the growing number and activity of Spanish and Portuguese speaker forumers on the last months, and the convoluted events on our countries, this thread is opened as a means to have friendly and civil discussions about politics and policies. Of course, all forumers are welcome, no matter their origin. As my RL career is mainly focused this issues, I'll try to update the thread regularly with news briefs, but your help with that task would be well recieved. Also, to keep an amicable ambient, here are some convivence recommendations: Prefer English, but don't be shy: English is a lingua franca we all can use and is understandable for all forumers, inviting them to participate here; nevertheless, if you don't find the right words, write it in your native tongue, we really want to know your ideas. Also, online translators are always a good help. Keep arguments concise: while is true one can talk about politics for hours, most ideas get lost on more than two paragraphs; try to mantain a conversational style. Assume good intentions: if you see something that could offend you, first think: could this be just a misunderstanding? could I improve things by taking the offense? Don't stay shut, but remember that is easy to express oneself in a confuse manner. Use data, don't believe on it: statistics are very useful to get a hold of what's really happening, but they are human-made measures that are prone to error and diverse interpretations. Show us the numbers but remember we can see different things on them. Understand political beliefs and cultures: our local cultures and political beliefs are very deep rooted and cherished, don't try to bluntly change others', talk about them in a respectful way and comprehend dissent. Welcome our friends from the world: lets keep this thread open to all forumers by using an open language, explaining context and references, and being available to answer questions.

Brief Introduction This mini pack consists of medium wealth homes based on real life houses located in the traditional commune of Providencia in Santiago, Chile. These house were designed to fit in a W2W urban environment, just like in real life. Basic information - Lot sizes: 1x2 (corner), 1x1 (corner), 2x2 and 2x1. - Stages: 2, 3 and 4. - Tileset: all. Dependencies - Only one (which I'll stick to for future projects): Note I've included several versions for the corner house (last model in the pictures), so that you can choose which one to delete, if any. - R$$ Casa Julio Prado AMARILLO CALAMINA - Yellow version with tin roof. Like in real life. - R$$ Casa Julio Prado AMARILLO TEJAS - Yellow version with roof tiles. - R$$ Casa Julio Prado BLANCO CALAMINA - White version with tin roof. Like in real life. - R$$ Casa Julio Prado BLANCO TEJAS - White version with roof tiles. Furthermore, I've included R$$$ versions since in real life the house is located in the commune of Providencia, home to upper middle income and high income families. The meaning of the R$$$ versions is the same as above. If you feel like these houses don't look like R$$$ homes, then simply delete the "R$$$..." folders. I recommend you to abstain from deleting the "R$$..." folders since they contain the sc4model files. You can follow my work here. Enjoy!- 2 Comments

I present to you my first housing pack based on various old buildings throughout Santiago, Chile. These are all low-wealth, low density residential w2w houses. They grow on 1x1 and 1x2 lots. There are a total of 34 unique lots, as you can see in the pictures. If you like these houses, you may also like my other BATs that I'm currently working on. You can check them out here. If you have any questions, or comments, please let me know! Edit: I noticed I used an old picture for the primary screenshot. The textures on the last picture for the last set of houses are the final version, not the ones on the main picture. This is the only slight difference. Edit 2: ...I also noticed that I've uploaded this file to the wrong category. It should fall under "SimCity 4 Buildings (BATs)". -

I have very little experience with batting but I want to improve my batting skill and hopefully release some decent BATs in the near future. I cannot say right now how dedicated I'll be, but we shall see! I'm planning on modelling mostly low to medium density and low wealth buildings (C$ and R$) and possibly some medium wealth buildings later on. I'll try to model versatile buildings from major Latin American cities (but mostly from Lima and Santiago) so that they can fit in a 'general' or stereotypical latin american city. As you may know, many latin american cities share a lot of the same architecture but there are some differences nevertheless. I have two current projects for the moment: one 1x1 C$ W2W building and one 1x2 C$ W2W building. Both are based on real buildings located in Santiago, Chile (1x1 building and 1x2 building). The modelling is done(?) so now I have to apply the textures. I'm not aiming for exact replicas by the way. 1rst BAT: house and small restaurant 2nd BAT: Mini market/apartments, mini gas distribution center, apartments Now, I have some questions/doubts: 1 - I don't know how I should model or texture the restaurant so that it looks like the real one (link above) 2- I have no clue how the roofs should look like. Keep in mind that in many of these older Chilean buildings there is no AC system (in this case, since these buildings are in Santiago, they might have a gas heating system, but I'm not sure).
