A 3x5 church lot, designed to fit in W2W environments. It functions as a museum in the game. This excellent building was created by @Ten Doornkaat more than eighteen years ago! I just spruced it up with some more modern props. The attached screenshots show my custom pavement (created through @rsc204's MTRDK) and grass (Lowkee's Appalachian terrain mod). As far as I know the used texture ID's are standard, so it should work whether or not you're using particular mods. Let me know in the comments if you run into any trouble! Also feel free to let me know if you end up using this in your cities. I'd love to see some screenshots! Completed in 1978, the Silberturm (Silver Tower) is located in central Frankfurt, Germany. Formerly the country's tallest building, it stands 32 stories high. This building sits on a 4x4 lot and comes in growable and ploppable CO$$$ varieties, both of which provide 4638 jobs. Both Darknite and Maxisnite versions are provided. Only one may be used at a time. The Darknite version requires SimFox's Day and Nite Modd. Dependencies: BSC Common Dependencies Pack Enjoy! -

This is a set of 8 different Cold War-era Eastern Bloc flags rendered in HD. They are intended to be used as props and you can add them to your lots by using Lot Editor (LE) or PIM-X. Good for use in historical or alternate universe settings. A 3x1 ploppable lot (as pictured) is also included, which can be found in the Parks menu. Flags included in this pack are: National Flags: Czechoslovakia (same as current Czech Republic national flag) Historical: Albania (People's Socialist Republic), Bulgaria (People's Republic), East Germany, Hungary (People's Republic), Romania (People's Republic), Yugoslavia. There are no dependencies for the ploppable lot other than the flags already included in this pack.-

Pietzsch House is an office building in Berlin, Germany, which contains the Einstein Cafe on the ground floor. A CS$$$ version imagining the building as a hotel has also been included. Both grow in the Houston 1990 and Euro tilesets. 1x3 growable CO§§§ and CS§§§ lots. MaxisNite and DarkNite versions included. DarkNite requires the Day and Nite Modd. -
Hey all, Today I want to take a deep dive into a topic very close to my own heart: The Jughandle Intersection! This setup uses highway slip ramps or clovers with an at-grade intersection to avoid conflict points with left turning traffic. The advantage of this setup is that high-speed traffic can use the left lane at full speed without drivers slowing or merging into left-turn lanes. This eliminates the possibility of left-turners congesting a turn lane and stopping traffic in the lanes of the roadway. They are common (and infamous) in my home state of New Jersey - birthplace of both the jughandle AND the cloverleaf interchange! I've been hunting for international examples, and I'm surprised they are not in wider use or I have trouble finding them. Here are some examples from around the world, making creative use of space: Some have specialized industrial purposes, like these turns designed for log trucks. One is located in urban-industrial Edmonton, the other off a forested lane in rural Finland. And for left side drivers, here are complicated right-hand turns! This is a L1 RRW station based on Hamburg's Dammtor station. It sits on a 22x4 Lot and includes elevated approaches on avenue on either side. Read the placement instructions below for correct functioning. Installation: Copy/extract the Debussyman parent folder into your plugins. CHOOSE ONLY ONE FILE FROM THE “PATHS” FOLDER, EITHER RHD OR LHD ACCORDING TO YOUR GAME INSTALLATION AND DELETE THE OTHER. Use in game: For correct functioning place the Lot in your desired location, connect to your L1 RRW network, drag railway network under each approach track inside the lot and then drag one way roads in the correct direction on both avenues under the L1 rail approaches. Known bugs: the trains may visually jump tracks while approaching the station. Based on the original design of the Dresden Hauptbahnhof Dresden Hauptbahnhof (“main station”, abbreviated Dresden Hbf) is the largest passenger station in the Saxon capital of Dresden. In 1898, it replaced the Böhmischen Bahnhof ("Bohemian station") of the former Saxon-Bohemian State Railway (Sächsisch-Böhmische Staatseisenbahn), and was designed with its formal layout as the central station of the city. The combination of a station building on an island between the tracks and a terminal station on two different levels is unique. Note on overhangs to fit it in-game: This station mixes a central hall at ground level plus four L1 (7.5m) elevated rail platforms at the sides. In-game you will need to drag the elevated rail tracks under the overhangs at the sides. Plus, it has an overhang at the front under which you must drag eight lanes of road (Recommended: Road-Avenue-Road). The Messeturm, or Trade Fair Tower, is a 63-storey, 257 m (843 ft) skyscraper in the Westend-Süd district of Frankfurt, Germany. It is the second tallest building in Frankfurt, the second tallest building in Germany and the third tallest building in the European Union. It was the tallest building in Europe from its completion in 1991 until 1997 when it was surpassed by the Commerzbank Tower, which is also located in Frankfurt. DE: Dies ist eine Karte der Nordfriesischen Inseln ohne Sylt, Größe 33x33km, also eine Bigmap. SimCity kennt keine Gezeiten, daher gibt es auch keine Deiche, die müssen bei Bedarf nachträglich erzeugt werden. Obgleich einige Inseln durch einen schmalen Pfad verbunden sind, müssten diese ebenfalls nachträglich straßentauglich gemacht werden. Die Herausforderung dieser Map besteht demnach darin, die Inseln durch Fährverbindungen wirtschaftlich effizient zu verbinden. Die Region ist knapp besiedelt, die wichtigsten Wirtschaftszweige sind Tourismus und Landwirtschaft, es ist somit die zweite Herausforderung für den motivierten Spieler, etwas mehr rauszuholen. Dabei wünsche ich viel Spass. In eigener Sache betreibe ich eine kleine aber internationale facebook-Gruppe für Simulationsspiele aller Art, insbesondere natürlich SimCity 4, die SimCity4 AG, schau doch mal vorbei, oder mach gleich mit. Installation: SC4-Mapper ist ausdrücklich NICHT zu empfehlen, sondern: 1. SimCity 4 starten, neue Region erstellen, Wasser auswählen und benennen, zB: Nordfriesische Inseln 2. SimCity 4 beenden, den SimCity-Regionsordner öffnen (bei mir: C:\Users\Nick Bauer\Documents\SimCity 4\Regions), und mit der geladenen config.bmp die vorhandene ersetzen 3. SimCity 4 erneut starten, neue Region auswählen, Strg+Alt+Umschalten+R zusammen drücken, in kleinen Fenster oben links die geladene "nordfriesische.inseln.2049.bmp" suchen (bei mir meist im Download-Ordner: C:\Users\Nick Bauer\Downloads) 4. Hat alles geklappt wird die Region erzeugt, das dauert etwa 10-15 Minuten, vielleicht mit einem Kaffee o.ä. überbrücken 5. Sobald die neue Region angezeigt wird kann es losgehen 6. Bei Problemen wende dich an die o.g. Gruppe oder an mich persönlich: Nick Bauer Ich freue mich über Kommentare und höchstmögliche Bewertungen. EN: This is a map of the North Frisian islands without Sylt, size 33x33km, so it's a bigmap. SimCity does not know tides, so there are no dikes, which have to be produced afterwards. Although some islands are connected by a narrow path, they would also have to be enlarged in the game. The challenge of this map is therefore to connect the islands economically efficiently by means of ferry connections. The region is sparsely populated, the main economic sectors are tourism and agriculture, making it the second challenge for the motivated player to get a little more. I wish you lots of fun. On my own behalf, I run a small but international facebook group for simulation games of all kinds, especially SimCity 4, the SimCity4 AG, have a look, or join in. Installation: SC4-Mapper is NOT recommended, but: 1. Start SimCity 4, create and name a new region, eg North Frisian Islands, choose water 2. Exit SimCity 4, open the SimCity region folder (for me: C:\Users\Nickbauer\Documents\SimCity 4\Regions), and replace the existing config.bmp with the loaded one 3. Restart SimCity 4, select the new region, press Ctrl + Alt + Shift + R, find the "nordfriesische.inseln.2049.bmp" in the small window at the top left: (for me: C:\Users\Nick Bauer\Downloads) 4. If everything has worked out the region generates, which takes about 10-15 minutes, maybe with a cup of coffee 5. Once the new region is displayed, it can start 6.
