    SM2 Modular Solar Power Plant. Solar power, clean green power and most importantly, renewable! As the name implies, you can build any size plant you like, from a single 1x1 lot to 1000's of them. It comes with a 2x2 step up transformer in order to feed the power grid and also a pair of container sized DC to AC inverters which can be plopped every few rows to give it a realistic feel. The inverters and the step up transformers also act as power generators, each one respectively outputs 200 units for the inverters and 300 units from the transformers. You can use them separately if you'd like to do so. The photovoltaic panels rotate on its X axis at intervals during the day for a total of 5 moves thus giving the assemblies a somewhat "animated" feel to them for even more realism. Best placed on flat surfaces. Photovoltaic panels lot : 100 units of power Step up transformer : 300 units of power Inverters lot : 200 units of power.     SM2 Marine Wind Power . You will find 2 lots in this pack 1) The Wind Turbine is to be plopped on water. 2) The buoy is to be plopped on water, from the Wind Turbine field to the shore. The buoy acts as a power transmission lot. It will light up at night if powered. Turn on your power grid and plop the buoys in a row. Watch the green power grid make the connection.   14. Nuclear City

    Today's update is a little more, shall we say, utilitarian than usual (okay, you can stop groaning at that pun now). I've shown Nyhaven and Kendall's transportation infrastructure here plenty of times, but until a couple of months ago, I had neglected the even-more-important electric infrastructure. After all, without a constant supply of electricity, what would power the metro area's economy? (Okay, I'll stop punning now. ) I recently finished working on my first modular nuclear power plant, the Marshland Nuclear Generating Station. While most of Lower Columbia's old uranium-fueled nuclear plants have been decommissioned or converted to thorium-fueled reactors, this beast of a power plant is still active, just upriver from Nyhaven International Airport. Here's another view of the plant, showing some of the high-voltage wires carrying its gigawatts of power to the whole region. I recently replaced the wired pylons I originally used with these larger, wireless ones; this change allowed me to increase the spacing between them to something more realistic, while the invisible transmission lots I added keep the lines functional. The only catch is the lack of true FA3 pylons; I've substituted the turn pylons to simulate them, since they're at roughly the same angles. Some of the power lines running from this plant follow the railroad west past the town of Marshland (which, as you might imagine, is the plant's namesake). The town rail station was greatly expanded when the nearby industrial park was built. Marshland sits at the edge of the metro area (for now). But it isn't the edge of the region anymore! The Marshland quad used to be in the southeast corner of the region, but thanks to my painstaking efforts, the Nyhaven region is now twice its former size - 99 large quads instead of 49 (or roughly 44x36 km vs. 28x28 km). In fact, the first two pictures above wouldn't even have been possible before I expanded the region, since they cross the border into two of the new quads. Now I can build Kendall's suburbs as far out as I want - and as you can see, I've already done a lot of work on them.     Welcome to The Unorthodox CJ II - Electric Boogaloo! Last September, I lost the original Unorthodox CJ city because of computer problems... however, I wasn't too upset because I honestly didn't like the city that much. I got bored of it and ran out of ideas. I guess the whole 'plan ahead' idea didn't work out too great for me. But that's fine - and if it means anything, I've had more enjoyment making a port than I did the whole original UCJ. Here we are, now in 2014, with a brand new region, better ideas, more downloads, all the dependencies, and patience. Tons and tons of patience. Axl Rose told me that is all I need, so I have it now. Let's go. Way back in 2009, when I was heavily into The Sims 2, I wanted to create a large, realistic metropolis full of skyscrapers and other city things. The first of the two major attempts was called Fierros Bay, which I started in March 2009. It was loosely based off of San Francisco, and even featured my own TS2 rendition of the Transamerica Pyramid. I would abandon that around July 2009 for a new city on a map that was much more city oriented. I would call this one Las Sontas. Now that we're approaching the five year anniversary of those fun attempts, I figure I'd commemorate them as nicely and fittingly as possible - in a completely different game. It's an entirely different kind of gaming! -- January 26, 2014. Not much to show today, since I have spent the past few weeks working on the port. It should be done by next week, though. Until then, enjoy this. The bridge is named the Las Tontos Inlet Bridge. Completed in 1978, it links the Port of Las Sontas to Alma Colectiva Valley. Nevermind the locations, here's the bridge.
  16. How do I sell basic services to another town. Whatever I do, I can't sell any excess Water, Sewage and other basis services. It doesn't even give me the basic options. Can someone tell me what basis trade or government building I need to do this or what am I missing???

    This file replaces the standard freight locomotive with a Class 460 electric freight engine, painted in the style of the Swiss Railway company (SBB). No further changes are made, this mod is only visual. Just unpack this file into you plugins folder to install the mod to make it appear on your tracks. This mod will be applied automatically. The Element Mercury maybe lethal to humankind but it make a great electronic source! more info at www.webelements.com The stats are 10x7, 40,000MWh/Month, $1,000 Monthly Cost, and a $25,000 plop cost But there are downsides to Mercury, It makes the water around in toxic and undrinkable for life... in other words it pollutes the water under the plant itself but not in the far sorrundings. And the Water Pollution is curable , And i dont think that the sims will like the certain "trucks" that roll around.
