    1 - INTRODUCTION/OVERVIEW
     
    Time to continue with the IRM! After several SimGoober uploads, it's time for a few buildings made by another very productive industrial BATter, jestarr.
    The 14th upload in this series, Rorschach Research & Delivery by jestarr, is a pretty generic and nondescript building that could house pretty much anything that doesn't require huge machinery and towering smokestacks. In this case, it houses the laboratories and offices of a an R&D company. The two lots included are extremely simple and straightforward, with at least one side open towards the surroundings. Being so generic, it should fit into bigger compounds, therefore I opted against a secluded lot.
    Since all Maxis lots contained in the IRM Base Pack could optionally be used with toroca's Industrial Jobs Quadrupler, this download is offered in two versions: a regular one for those who prefer the default job numbers, and a quadrupler-compatible version for those who prefer using the modified stats.
    The .sc4desc files for the regular version will look like this: IRM_[Filename].sc4desc
    The .sc4desc files for the quadrupler version will look like this: IRM_[Filename]_x4.sc4desc
    After downloading, simply delete the file of the version you don't want to use. If you leave both in your plugins, the quadrupler version will most probably override the default version.
    The default version of the building will provide 40 I-HT jobs, the quadrupler version 160 I-HT jobs.
    The following lots are included in this download: 3x4, Stage 2 4x3, Stage 2 For those of you who like to play with day and night view, the building used on this lot is compatible with the following night light mode(s):
    Maxis Night with gradual day/night cycle: YES Maxis Night with static day or night: YES DarkNite* with static day or night: YES *DarkNite requires SimFox' Day and Nite Modd (or a similar darkening mod) to be installed in your plugins. 

    2 - USE
     
    If you extract this archive to your root plugins folder, it should create a folder IRM\IRM Expansion\[NAME OF BAT], where [NAME OF BAT] represents the name of this download item. Within that folder, you will find all the game-relevant files and a sub-folder containing the HTML readme and some screenshot(s).
     
    If you no longer wish to use this download, proceed as follows:
    Bulldoze all lots pertaining to this download Save all the cities and exit the game when you're done bulldozing Remove the associated files from your plugins folder Hint: Just to be sure, I recommend moving the undesired files somewhere else and doing some checks before you delete them permanently. This way, if it turns out you forgot to bulldoze something, you can add it back in temporarily until you're done.
     
     
    3 - DEPENDENCIES
     
    IRM Base Pack with all its dependencies - while these lots will technically work, they are meant to tie into the IRM. They may look out of place and show unexpected behaviour if used independently. Since this is an extension to the IRM, all the dependencies of the original pack still apply. If you have them in place, you can download every single growable IRM and IRM W2W lot I have ever made and will never have to download any additional packs for props and textures used on the lot. Rorschach R&D - you'll also need the original upload of the BAT to see the building(s). Only the .sc4model file is required. NOTE: For any dependency hosted at SC4Devotion (SC4D in short), you must be registered on that site and logged into the site's download area, the BSC File Exchange, in order to see the download button. Please bear in mind that there are separate logins for the forums and for the file exchange. For those of you who may still be unfamiliar with the site: SC4D is another major SimCity community with lots of unique content, so you will not regret making an account there.

  2. Paeng's PEG-PPOND Tahoe Three Pontoon Boats

    This PEG-PPOND Tahoe Pontoon Boats was made by Paeng and originally was uploaded as a forum attachment onto the PLEX and hasn't been available according to my best knowladge. I made this readme to collect all the dependencies into one place for easier acces with updated links.
    Please note with the permission of the Simptropolis Staff Members (Cori & Cyclone Boom) and Catty-CB this file has been uploaded on behalf of Paeng. It was not available anymore due to the unfortunate demise of SimPeg. All the works in this download were created by Paeng.
    LIST OF ITEMS:
    * 3 1x1 Lots with offset boat props and transparent textures.
    Installation:
    Unzip the whole bundle, or COPY the "Paeng" folder from the *.zip into your plugin folder. You don't need to keep the "Documentation" folder. To uninstall, bulldoze any instance of this lot in your city, then remove the file(s) from your Plugins.

    Experiment with the various sub-sets - all pieces can be mixed freely. Some pieces will need a bit of MMP-treatment to cover up the occasional 'neuralgic' spot. When plopping MMPs take care not to overdo it, otherwise the canal pieces will just "disappear" ;-)
    It is recommended to use this set together with the Free Waters Mod.
    The pieces are set with default white bases and are compatible with my Sandstone Sidewalk Mod.
    All needed info is given via the in-game menu.
    You find all items at or near the end of the 'Parks' menu with custom icons.

  4. Heretic-Tariel EBLT Plaza Expansion (Mirror Pieces)

    Background:
    One of my first relotting project was to make a "redirected" mirrored version of @io_bg's EBLT Plaza Set, to make a flawless looking plaza route combining the original set of plazas and the relots. Well doing my "house keeping" on my bunch of experimental relots, I decided to revisit my old lots. Since @tariely started her very nice projects on plazas and gardens, we made a team-up and she facelifted my lots with nice nightlights and other fancy stuffs, and also made three plazas for this set. Huge thanks to her for the hard work on this project!
    List of items:
    6 1x1 modular plaza walk pieces. Using the SPOT you can make bigger plazas with flawles plaza routes. (see attached pictures)
    2 2x1 modular-ish plaza walk pieces. 
    5 2x2 Mirrored Plaza for the purpose of expanding the existing EBLT Plaza set.
    2 2x2 Plaza using the same route-ways as the original set. (They are not mirrored pieces, credit goes to Tariely for these pieces)
    2 2x4 plaza pieces - one regular and one mirrored version
    The listed items can be working together nicely, but I guess, need a little patience and experimentings for better results. 
    Install:
    Copy the "Heretic Projects" folder from the zip (or unzip it) into your plugin folder. Highly recomended to keep the provided folder structure, because all of my uploads have the same format, and since sometime I'm working with inclouded dependencies (such as textures or descriptor datas) it's better if these "inclouded dependencies" are in the same place. If you unzipped the upload, you may delete or remove the "Documentation" folder from your Plugin Folder.
    You will find these lots in the Park Menu close to the original set.
    The plop cost of the original 2x2 set is 50$.
    To keep the additional pieces close to the original set, I gave the following values:
    2x2 plazas - 51$
    1x1 plazas - 52$
    2x1 plazas - 53$
    2x4 plazas - 55$

  5. Heretic-Tariel Various Plaza Lots

    Background:
    During this autum I ran into a little problem in one of my cities. I needed some medium plazas with the dimensions of 2x3/3x2-3x4/4x3 and I couldn't find anything what I already wouldn't use in my cities, so I came up with the idea to making some new lots. The original idea wasn't about a public release, since I don't have too much experience (neither too much motivation) with plazas and I wouldn't have wasted to much time trying to make something which could be satisfying for everyone. But during the working process @tariely came up with some ideas and thoughts about nightlights (which is an other thing I'm not interested in), so she got the files to put her touch on them. Later I combined the two sets, Hers and mine, and here we are with this quite massive plaza set, which contains:
    18 medium plazas (5 - 2x3, 5 - 3x2, 2 - 2x4, 4 - 3x4, 2 - 4x3)
    3 larger plazas 6x5
    I moded the plaza effects such as pollution and things like this totally random, so don't look for any realism, I don't really care the gameplay aspect in that deep, so they can be unballanced, but if you recognize some ballancing gameplay problem, probably will know how to fix it. Hint: LE Prop or Reader tool are your friends. Of course, I'm open any suggestion, and if you have accurate values for me which numbers I should change for what, I can and will do it and can update the upload.
    The plaza plop costs are variable according to the sets:
    Heretic (yepp that's me) 2x3/3x2 plazas - 400
    Heretic 3x4/4x3 plazas - 405 
    Tariel 2x3/3x2 plazas - 410 (yepp, they are more expensive, because they are admittedly nicer, less out of the box, than mine)
    Tariel 3x4/4x3 plazas - 415
    Heretic-Tariel 6x5 plazas - 500

  6. SM2 Concrete Sound Barriers

    SM2 Concrete Sound Barriers.

    Its time for a new set of HD sound walls.

    With 41 pieces at your disposal you can bet that just about any combination has been covered!
    This set includes several FA3 (Fractional Angle 18.4 deg.) pieces for those special angled projects.

    Orthogonal, 45 deg, FA3, exit doors, emergency phone, ortho to 45, ortho to FA3, end pieces, overhanging ones, 11 with graffiti plus a double length one and one special Orthogonal piece that you can plop on slopes of up to 45 deg.

    To recap, 40 lots can only be places on fairly flat terrain and one flex piece for up to 45 degrees inclines.

    I made them with no base or overlay textures therefore you can dress them with your favorite MMPs

    ALL lots are neutral but one, the TEL piece. I made that one with nightlights.

    Use them on your highways, roads, railways and they also look great as fences in between industries and residential.
    I'm pretty sure you will find a home for them in your maps.

    No Dependencies!

    Just drop them in your plugins and play. You will find them in your park menu.

    In the mix you will also find a single orthogonal EL (elevated) piece to be used with L2 highways. It is a prototype and I made with the Maxis L2 highway specs in mind. You can try with different highways to see if it works.

  7. Colossus Farming

    Mod content:
    134 growable CAM-patible farm lots, each one individually designed, ranging from tiny romantic (stage 1) to dystopian agricultural scifi (stage 10).
    45 new or completely reworked field lots with crops like canola, cabbage, bamboo, potatoes, strawberries, artichokes, animated lifestock or elements like grow tunnels, greenhouses, vertical farms.
    250 new props/bats.
    70 new textures
    6 ploppable functional lots
    13 cosmetic puzzle pieces to add fences and farm tracks to the fields.
    Mod's purpose:
    Collecting some of the best farming stuff, adding own stuff where needed and creating something with an overall concept from it. This means building up complete themes like winery, lumber industries, lifestock farming, grain production, including different elements of the productions chains (grain -> brewery, life stock -> slaughtery) - so for each city of your region there can be different main focus of agricultural production.
    Mod's challenge:
    This mod can be very demanding on computer/game performance and there may be actions to take about this. Also setup requires some patience as you have to make certain decissions and you have to select and sort content different according to this decissions. It's recommended to wait for a rainy afternoon to install this mod.
    It's essential to read chapter 1,2 and 3 of the included documentation.
     
    Dependencies
    This mod requires at least 38 dependencies (depending on your choices more). This is no put and play - you need to follow installation instructions of the documentation). Do this step by step.
    For easier management the dependencies are broken down into five sections. For performance reasons it's recommended to datpack some of the sections containing smaller files into a single bigger one after you are done and everything works.

    This is going to be the last SimGoober relot for a while, but I hope you'll bear with me one more time before we move on to other authors.
    The 13th upload in this series, Modern Warehouses by SimGoober, is a four-in-one download: SimGoober made four variants of this building that differ slightly in appearance, but share the same footprint, function, and stats. The lots are rather simplistic, the only exception being the slightly curved driveways on the bigger version. The compact version will require some filler lots - or a road/street access - in the back to give the trucks enough room to manoeuvre if you are obsessed enough with realism. While the bigger lot is more enclosed and looks pretty much like a standalone facility, the smaller one will tie into any surrounding high-tech industry and is easy to complement with fillers.

  9. The Lat Am Project: Historic Pack 2

    The third installment in my Lat Am Project, which seeks to revive and remaster forgotten latin american content from various creators. This pack brings to you 9 lots featuring 8 building models from LBT members Elegost/Berethor07 and Tcxalapa. These are all latin american historic buildings; this pack's contents range from small hostels to the Grand Diligencias Hotel from the city of Veracruz, Mexico. They're perfect for an old city centre!
    There's medium and high wealth commercial services and a couple of medium wealth offices, plus a residential version for the hotels and hostels. The lots come in 2x2, 2x3, 4x3 and 4x4 lots, and develop on low, medium and high density zones. They are modded so that they only grow when the “Chicago” tileset is selected (in the building styles menu), you can control where and when to develop them this way. Ingame, they will also show the name of the building in Spanish or Portuguese if your SimCity 4 is installed in any of these languages, If it is installed in any other language the names will show in English.
    If you want to plop them you can use the LotPlop command and search for them between your commercial buildings, the lots follow the default naming convention. You'll need either of the avaliable Extra Cheats dlls.
    You can check the included bilingual documentation for a full catalogue and more info on stats and so on.
    Dependencies
    Make sure you download and install the files marked as essential in your Plugins, if you don't, you will get brown boxes instead of the actual buildings! Some textures will also be missing. The files marked as optional add details to the lots, although they're not strictly necessary, installing them is recommended to get the full detailing.

    I did not make the model(s) and do not claim any credit for them, all credit goes to Elegost/Berethor07 and Tcxalapa. However, I did give the buildings their stats and made lots for them, you can edit those lots or the descriptor files however you want, for personal use. You can't redistribute any of the included content, but you can use it to make new creations. The modding of this buildings was made using the PIM-X tool, so there shouldn't be any problem with these buildings throwing the game off balance.     Improvements : roof lights and redesigned "Tudor City" board sign located on Prospect tower. 
     
    HISTORY
    Completed in 1928, it consisted of twelve apartment buildings containing 3,000 housing units and 600 hotel rooms. The design by the architect H. Douglas Ives and his team was based heavily on the Tudor Style, an architectural style prevalent during the Tudor Dynasty. Characteristic for this style is the brickwork and the application of fine intricate stonework.
     
    THE LOTS
    In this pack, you're gonna find 3 of the 12 buildings that compose the whole complex of Tudor City in New York.
    those are the most iconic part of the whole complex : Tudor, Prospect and WIndsor buildings.
     
    For a realistic positioning, make it this order from left to right :
    Tudor Tower, Propect Tower, Windsor Tower. All buildings are 4X2 tiles. Just separate them by one tile.

  12. MGB - Mattb325 Max's Microchips ReLot

    This package contains a ReLot for the 6x6 version of Mattb325's reimagined Max's Microchips building.
    When Matt released some new I-HT buildings earlier this year, this one in particular stood out for me as one great looking model. As such I couldn't help but go full on with re-designing the lot. Of course, when you do such things, you tend to use a lot of dependencies. So one lot it may be (download), but prepare for the full list of dependencies, it's not for everyone. Frankly if you don't have all Girafe's flora, you're missing out anyhow. Aside from that it's really just 2 dependencies if you think about it .
    The lot in the download is a direct replacement for the 6x6 version from Mattb325's package. Otherwise you need to keep the other files from the original download installed.

    Enough with the pharmaceutical stuff - let's get back to some plain old high-tech again, shall we?
    In the case of the twelfth upload in this series, SC4Tech Factory by SimGoober, the "old" in "plain old high-tech" can be taken literally, because the original BAT dates back to 2005. While it's not the most spectacular building at a first glance, it does have some nice details such as the little rooftop terrace and the illuminated interior in night view. Since it's more or less a corner building, I chose to lot it in two different orientations and make two rather different lots for it, both rather open and not surrounded by fences to encourage the formation of coherent industrial compounds - and/or the use of filler lots, of course!
    Since all Maxis lots contained in the IRM Base Pack could optionally be used with toroca's Industrial Jobs Quadrupler, this download is offered in two versions: a regular one for those who prefer the default job numbers, and a quadrupler-compatible version for those who prefer using the modified stats.
    The .sc4desc files for the regular version will look like this: IRM_[Filename].sc4desc
    The .sc4desc files for the quadrupler version will look like this: IRM_[Filename]_x4.sc4desc
    After downloading, simply delete the file of the version you don't want to use. If you leave both in your plugins, the quadrupler version will most probably override the default version.
    The default version of the building will provide 50 I-HT jobs, the quadrupler version 200 I-HT jobs.

    I present to you Kogyo Waste Services, a neat little waste-handling company. If you need some trash gone, you know who to call....

    KWS is a fully-batted building/lot combo that fills a 3x3 I-D lot. It can help break up the monotony with its characteristic yellow roof and parking lot filled with yellow trucks. The building is a partially accurate rendition of this small industrial building in Osaka:

    Maxisnite and Darknite are both supported, and the bat features TruNite lights. Download the appropriate version depending on whether you use SimFox's Day and Nite Mod (or an equivalent) or not.
    -Installation: Simply unzip the the downloaded .zip file into your plugins folder. The aren't any extraneous files in the folder (like images) so you don't have to worry about deleting anything.
    -Building Plop: The building is listed as MM_JPN_ID_3x3_KogyoWaste in the Building Plop window. This requires Buggi's Extra Cheats DLL. Keep in mind that plopped industrial buildings will not generate freight truck automata.

    The last few buildings have been pharmaceutical factories that produce drugs to get rid of intangible things such as pain (Alka Seltzer) or any care you may otherwise be tempted to give even though you'd rather not (Fukitol). What about getting rid of something physical, though?
    Enter the eleventh upload in this series, EZ Flo Laxatives by SimGoober. I'm not sure if it's the famous Intergalactic Laxative that Donovan sung about in 1973 and if EZFlo will, in fact, take you from here to SimMars.
    What I do know is that the building struck me as rather interesting due to the hangar shape of the main structure and the partly separate loading facility. I chose to accompany it by two lots, one being pretty much a sea of conrete and the other a more closed design with more greenery.
    Since all Maxis lots contained in the IRM Base Pack could optionally be used with toroca's Industrial Jobs Quadrupler, this download is offered in two versions: a regular one for those who prefer the default job numbers, and a quadrupler-compatible version for those who prefer using the modified stats.

    While the Fukitol franchise has been covered with the recent releases, let's not forget that SimGoober also BATted ficticious facilities for real-life drugs...
    The tenth upload in this series is Alka Seltzer Factory by SimGoober. I love how the pills above the entrance already hint at its pharmaceutical purpose, and even the whitish colour scheme reminds both of clinical environments and of the active substance itself. The smaller lot features a footpath that leads from the entrance area to the back, whereas the bigger lot comes with a more spacious loading area and an irregularly shaped little "island" with a nice little break area featuring some tables and umbrellas by a little pond - gotta do something to keep those highly skilled employees happy!
    Since all Maxis lots contained in the IRM Base Pack could optionally be used with toroca's Industrial Jobs Quadrupler, this download is offered in two versions: a regular one for those who prefer the default job numbers, and a quadrupler-compatible version for those who prefer using the modified stats.

    The buoy acts as a power transmission lot. It will light up at night if powered. Turn on your power grid and plop the buoys in a row. Watch the green power grid make the connection. Once satisfied, turn the power grid off.

    Each Wind Turbine will output 1800 units of power. By plopping a few of them you can enjoy unlimited green power!!

    I have created a specific Power Substation lot which can be found in my SM2 Power Pack. Plop it on shore for a seamless power grid.

    1 - INTRODUCTION/OVERVIEW
     
    Last in the GooberGen/Fukitol series for now, we finally come to the home of the famous pill.
    The ninth upload in this series is Fukitol Pharms by SimGoober. It's a pretty huge building with a non-rectangular footprint and some footpaths baked into the model. I tried my best to make sure the lots wrap naturally around the building, and I made footpaths leading around the main structure that hopefully look like logical extensions of the ones that came with the model. Cycledogg's wonderful shaded props once again make an impressive appearance here, too.
    Since all Maxis lots contained in the IRM Base Pack could optionally be used with toroca's Industrial Jobs Quadrupler, this download is offered in two versions: a regular one for those who prefer the default job numbers, and a quadrupler-compatible version for those who prefer using the modified stats.
    The .sc4desc files for the regular version will look like this: IRM_[Filename].sc4desc
    The .sc4desc files for the quadrupler version will look like this: IRM_[Filename]_x4.sc4desc
    After downloading, simply delete the file of the version you don't want to use. If you leave both in your plugins, the quadrupler version will most probably override the default version.
    The default version of the building will provide 121 I-HT jobs, the quadrupler version 484 I-HT jobs.
    The following lots are included in this download: 6x6, Stage 3 (2 variations) For those of you who like to play with day and night view, the building used on this lot is compatible with the following night light mode(s):
    Maxis Night with gradual day/night cycle: YES Maxis Night with static day or night: YES DarkNite* with static day or night: YES *DarkNite requires SimFox' Day and Nite Modd (or a similar darkening mod) to be installed in your plugins. 

    2 - USE
     
    If you extract this archive to your root plugins folder, it should create a folder IRM\IRM Expansion\[NAME OF BAT], where [NAME OF BAT] represents the name of this download item. Within that folder, you will find all the game-relevant files and a sub-folder containing the HTML readme and some screenshot(s).
     
    If you no longer wish to use this download, proceed as follows:
    Bulldoze all lots pertaining to this download Save all the cities and exit the game when you're done bulldozing Remove the associated files from your plugins folder Hint: Just to be sure, I recommend moving the undesired files somewhere else and doing some checks before you delete them permanently. This way, if it turns out you forgot to bulldoze something, you can add it back in temporarily until you're done.
     
     
    3 - DEPENDENCIES
     
    IRM Base Pack with all its dependencies - while these lots will technically work, they are meant to tie into the IRM. They may look out of place and show unexpected behaviour if used independently. Since this is an extension to the IRM, all the dependencies of the original pack still apply. If you have them in place, you can download every single growable IRM and IRM W2W lot I have ever made and will never have to download any additional packs for props and textures used on the lot. Fukitol Pharms HT - you'll also need the original upload of the BAT to see the building(s). Only the .sc4model file is required. NOTE: For any dependency hosted at SC4Devotion (SC4D in short), you must be registered on that site and logged into the site's download area, the BSC File Exchange, in order to see the download button. Please bear in mind that there are separate logins for the forums and for the file exchange. For those of you who may still be unfamiliar with the site: SC4D is another major SimCity community with lots of unique content, so you will not regret making an account there.

  21. RRetail BLAM Park Place Mall Relot

    Another mall for those suburbs!
    The mall itself is made of three lots that combine to make one massive lot. When combined lots #1 and #2 take a space of 20x22 tiles with an additional 7x21 tiles needed for lot #3. Also included to fill in the gap is a 1x1 lot full of Maxis trees.

  22. Bipin Concrete Walls

    @Bipin requested I upload these concrete retaining walls as he no longer has access to the files. These walls are solely the creative output of Bipin and I take no credit whatsoever nor assume responsibility for them. 
    Please bear in mind these walls were never released as a 'final version' and should be considered a test/draft version and treated as such by members.
    The walls contain a variety of retaining wall pieces as you can see from the images. I have only tested them with 10, 12 and 14 metre-high embankments and as you can see from the image the 'boutiques' entrance is best suited to use at 10m. Placing the corners can take a bit of trial and error so be patient, remember these are not a final release. 
    Walls should appear in the Misc Transport menu

    Those three 2x2 plazas are not that exotic, but I wanted a less longer name then the original ! They just needed a bit of greenery, in my opinion. They can be used alone or combined.

    The io_bg-EBLT’s originals are splendid by themselves, in their use of the beautiful NDEX Konietzko Fountain. I use them extensively (and I am not the only one ! You may soon find more of them relotted on the STEX). I too thought they could do with a little modern TLC. As I fell in love with their base texture I used it in many of my other plazas, so I added a little 1x1 to link them if desired.
