update 05_MOSAICS OF A CONCRETE JUNGLE
will62russ commented on RipRap's City Journal Entry in CONCRETE JUNGLE
Wonderful! I would love to live in this community based on what you have created. You have a number of large office buildings that I have not seen on STEX before. Any chance you can direct me to where I can find these BATs? I would be indebted to you for life. :-) -

Hi. I do want to continue my financial support of simtropolis as I have done in the past (member since 2004). However, I do not want to provide such support for mainly legacy work only. Any feedback from someone to correct my perception would be greatly appreciated. Thank You for your time.

So I want to provide another donation at this time. What type of "perk" could I expect if I donated say $100 or more? I know you mentioned something about 563 files uploaded. However, much of those files would not be what I would consider the quality of material we have experienced in the past and those I would be happy to plop in the middle of my downtown area.
Consider this. I just made one $75 payment to download the new Fallout76 game online. This game will provide months, maybe even up to a year, of unlimited quality gaming in an open world platform. For me, how would Simtropolis compete with that, considering I may be making more than one donation over $100 for that same amount of time?
Do you see what I'm getting at - cost benefit analysis?

Hiya.
As you prolly know, Simtropolis is a fan supported site and as such we are not in competition with other games on a monetary basis. If you have already received the STEX discs 3, 4 & 5 then, unfortunately, there is nothing else we can offer in the way of a perk.
However, you would have our heartfelt thanks and the knowledge you have helped keep Simtropolis online for all to enjoy.

Hi
Just to be absolutely clear here that yes you are absolutely going to be getting what you call "legacy" work. It is indeed quality items created in the last ~15 years for SimCity 4. As the game has not changed for almost 20 years since its launch, it's been "legacy" for quite some time. If you are only interested in "new" stuff, they are readily available on the live STEX get them any time it costs nothing. It is very likely we will release a newer collection to include best stuff from the past recent few years.
No I cannot promise you a "triple-A gaming experience" from any of these perks. Please do keep in mind that the donation is really intended to be the objective here. In most cases, when you "donate" you are by definition voluntarily offering monetary support for something you believe in. We are not here to make "sales" and so such perks that there are, are what they are, there's not much more I can promise or assure beyond that.
I hope that makes things clear, and if this dissuades you from donating, then I'm glad we were able to provide you up front information to make an informed decision!
Cheers.

Anyone interested in creating the historic Walker Building which is probably the most recognizable building in Salt Lake City. It was built in 1912 which should make this a classic. The most wonderful aspect of this building is the Walker Tower which sits on top of 16 stories of office space.

The The Fairmont Royal York Building would be a great addition to STEX. I wish I was made to do it myself. I just don't know how and where to get started.

I am going to have a frigging heart attack!!!!!!! And I already have heart failure. This piece of work has to be in the top 10, or even top 5, of all-time from the get-go. I don't know how you do it Mattb325, but keep doing it. I will not give specifics about why I like it because it would not do the work of art justice. Hope this inspires others to acheive such greatness. Thank You.
