New York City begins at the historical Lower Manhattan Financial District. I chose to use the original twin towers because of how much an icon they were to the city. The Twin Towers are still present in many businesses and company logos in around NYC. The new towers are beautiful as I have visited them myself, but still they require some getting use to, with that said long live the Twins and those who perished on 9/11 . My attempt at re-creating Battery Park feels a little bald to me may end up re-doing eventually. Looking north over the World Trade Center with shops, restaurants, apartments and offices below. Today the neighborhood consists of only a few Italian stores and restaurants. It is bounded on the west by Tribeca and Soho, on the south by Chinatown, on the east by the Bowery and Lower East Side, and on the north by Nolita. Chinatown and Lower Eastside Chinatown: A neighborhood in Lower Manhattan, New York City, bordering the Lower East Side to its east, Little Italy to its north, Civic Center to its south, and Tribeca to its west. With an estimated population of 90,000 to 100,000 people, Chinatown is home to the highest concentration of Chinese people in the Western Hemisphere.[5] Manhattan's Chinatown is also one of the oldest Chinese ethnic enclaves. Brooklyn Bridge: Construction on the Bridge was started in 1869 and was completed fourteen years later in 1883. It was originally called the New York and Brooklyn Bridge and the East River Bridge, but it was later dubbed the Brooklyn Bridge. However, it was not named as such until the city government passed a law to that effect in 1915. Over the years, the Brooklyn Bridge has undergone several reconfigurations; it formerly carried horse-drawn vehicles and elevated railway lines, but now carries vehicular, pedestrian, and bicycle traffic. 120 Wall Street is a skyscraper in Wall Street, New York City, Unite States which was completed in 1930.The building is 399 ft (122 m) tall, has 34 floors, and is located along Wall Street, Pine Street and South Street. This is a version modeled in order to increase the amount of buildings available to build a region based on the New York architecture, starting by my perspective of this skyscraper. I modeled based on the plant view of the structure and it is not completely rectangular, actually i worked it in order to find a balance between a simcity version and the real one, that is why the right upper corner is out of the lot. I has thinking in recreate this block (hey, just thinking) of Manhattan with 120, 110 and 129 Wall Street as a long-term project. Down i give you the plant view that i used. Thanks for all the advises... I keep learning from you guys. https://res.cloudinary.com/view-the-space/image/upload/a_-90/v1355426990/prod_additional_floor_plan_photo_location_1vutckw08bots1jcolyeia.png Building Name: 120 Wall Street Building Type: CO$$ Occupants: 2616 Jobs Growth Stage: 8 Bulldoze Cost: 1746$ Construction Time (Days): 174 Fammability: 40 Max Fire Stage: 5 Air Pollution/Radio: 26/5 Water Pollution/Radio: 26/5 Garbage Pollution/Radio: 31/0 (31/6 in Darknite Version, Sorry) Power Consumed: 53 Water Consumed: 2268 Dependencies needed:- 6 Comments
