    https://www.zerohedge.com/news/2018-04-10/alert-issued-syria-air-strike-within-hours-russia-relcates-military-helicopters It's looks likely that the US, France, Israel and Saudi Arabia will be -- at a minimum -- conducting air strikes against the Syrian government and military. Within three days. If Russia stands it ground and does protect its ally then that means fighting US, Israel and NATO air units and possibly other military units: special forces and the like. There's only two outcomes to this: 1. A limited military clash where both sides' noses get a bit bloodied, then a ceasefire. 2. Unstoppable escalation as US/NATO/Israel and Russia lose all control. Finally this is for every member of this site, especially those living in the US, UK, Europe and Russia: Should -- God forbid -- the worst happen there'll be only one indication, one warning- the power goes out, the phones stop working and anything electrical is dead or frazzled. That's an EMP (Electromagnetic Pulse) attack from a nuclear warhead detonated high above in the atmosphere to disrupt a countries communications and power grid. This is the first phase of a nuclear salvo. After that -- depending on where you live in the US or Europe -- you have a minimum of five minutes until the first warheads and MIRVs of the nuclear salvo strike. Let's pray the US/NATO stands down.

Models uploaded so far : NA Medium density housing - 01 NA Medium density housing - 02 _______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ OLD Hey guys first post here and first model for C:S ! I have a bit of experience with 3D modeling (followed some tutorials on DT, made a few models, and a made map on Source ) but i'm pretty much a beginner I just finished my first model for C:S, took some time (~7 days), got confused a few times but i'm pretty comfortable now and next ones will go much faster. I based it off the kind of houses you find around Toronto ( THIS house in particular). Heres the model on sketchfab and the model in the workshop you'll find it in parks plazza (don't know if I'll leave it up its just a test for now). 890 tris for the building and front yard thingy, no LOD yet, textures( D N A I S ) are 1024x1024, 32 tris for the 8m fence, 4 tri LOD, and 128x128 textures (which are temporary until I do a better one). For a few questions : I'm really unsure about how my normal maps turned out and have spent way more time than i'd like to admit fiddling with it, inverting re-verting, and getting more confused, would be appreciated if someone could go over it (the windows in particular look off ) : normals diffuse I also have some windows where the illumination will just be a white line PIC how do I fix that ? My textures seem fine to me illumination spec For the tris would it be fine to delete polys such as under the window trim and the ceiling of the porch ? I know some people like walking around the city in FPS view just as other people don't care so i'm not quite sure if I should leave them or not. I unwraped the uvs so that there is nothing overlapping for AO but I doubt i'll be able to do that with other more complex buildings. What is you guys stance on AO ? Important ? or is it fine just to let it aside ? Finally whats your prefered format for saving textures ? Right now its all PNGs. Edit : And the scale, does it seem fine ? PIC I'll probably make more of theses houses and maybe make a Torontonian collection if all goes well. THIS is what I expect a neighboorhood of theses will look like (containers = garages). Makes good practice!

Yeah it may be American politics, but Trump has really changed the political scene and I feel it requires its own separate post to chart and discuss the events and changes during a Trump Presidency. Also the US Presidential Election thread is going in all kinds of wild tangents, I've been posting quite a few of them but Trump winning has opened up a real can of worms and it is a really massive change. That thread needs a continuation once Trump has been inaugurated. This thread is not only about President Trump and his administration, it is also about Obama's legacy, and of course the myriad issues which come with Trump and his election promises. There needs to be a thread on its own to comment about: US foreign policy, Obama's legacy, what will happen to the Clintons, the Mexico/US border, how Trump will "drain the swamp", the future for Liberals and SJWs, the social changes taking place in the US and much, much more. So for the first post, Trump has a message about his day-one executive actions.     This is the United States in it's entirety along with Canada and some parts of South America. This is based off my beta version but this has been smoothed out to address most of the hills which made it unplayable. Please note that this is not an accurate representation in regards to elevations and major land/water features. The basic outline is the same for the continents and most of the water features should be in their proper geographic location but I'm no geography major. The seafloor is not that deep and this is intentional so that you can easily add your own landmasses in the otherwise empty tiles. I have looked over most of the map and most of it has been smoothed but there still might be some areas of unplayability but this can be remedied either in-game or using SC4 Terrarformer. All feedback is appreciated, read and taken into consideration. *Aircraft carrier, submarine and destroyer sold separately and are NOT included but to give you an idea what you can do with so much open water Please note that the map may not look the same as the thumbnail(s) due to certain mods that I have installed and are NOT required dependencies Grass : Meadowshire Terrain Mod Rocks : SHK HD Rock Mod .dat 1 Beaches : White Gravel Beach Mod Water : PEG Crystal Lagoon Difficulty : Advanced The readme is listed below and is included This map is 20x12 large city tiles. Installing the map : 1. Open SC4 Terraformer 2. Open a default SimCity 4 Region 3. Once loaded go to File and then Create Region 4. Name your Region to what you like 5. Locate the SC4M file (usa redux.SC4M) 6. Hit Enter and wait for the region to load 7. Modify the map to what you want it to be and then hit Save 8. Open SimCity 4 and load your region. The Map should look the way you saved it. You will need to place the Tropical Climate Mod Folder in your plugins folder for SimCity 4 and NOT in the documents plugin folder or it won't work. /Program Files (x86)/Electronic Arts/simcity4/plugins Note : The Electronic Arts folder maybe called Maxis but this is the version I have You will need the Tropical Climate Mod Folder to render grass when you start a new city.     G'Day Simtropians, Today's map was requested courtesy of Ez_money412 here at Club Simtrop, thanks mate. It is of Erie, the fourth largest city in Pennsylvania and situated on it's namesake Lake Erie. The map has been rotated 26.25° clockwise and State Street aligns to the SC4 grid. This is a real world map and is terrain an scale accurate. Wouanagaine's mapper or terraformer is required to import it into one's game. it measures 49.152km x 28.672km. I have this project on my head since I started to play SimCity, even I started this project during the 2006 but I had to leave it because I couldn't get the result that I did want. I am a perfectionist and wanted to do the best New York in SimCity but I did not have the necessary knowledge level. During all these years I've been playing SimCity and trying to make better every single part of the game, more realistic and more visual, almost like a real city. Somebody maybe can remember my recreation of Berlin, or all my Japanese cities, even my first recreation Hong Kong, it had been quite successful here in simtropolis...during these last two years I have been working on my best project called "Windows on the World" with this project, I try to make real or imaginary places around the world and now it's turn to New York city. Now I have everything that I need to make the best recreation of this city, also I have a lot of new ideas to make this Recreation even more special, I just need all your support and all your advices to make this recreation even better. - I decided start here this project because I am another NYBT member since it was created, and one of my main goals was to make this, a large window to show all the buildings created by my team mates.   25. Booyakasha, This is the Stanton-Kerry metro region. Two cities, supposed to grow together kinda like Minneapolis-St. Paul. Situated on the northwestern coast of the US. I'm not focusing primarily on aesthetics but trying to find a balance between making everything work and looking somewhat pretty if possible. This is the town of Kerry with the Stanton skyline in the back: Downtown Kerry from the industrial zone in the west: Kerry Station square which serves as a bus hub with a direct, no stop connection to downtown Stanton: Kerry central railyard: The industrial zone: In-game overview of Kerry. Besides the occasional fire and some moaning about land value everything's functioning fine. My last city San Tonias had a lot of problems like freighttrains not spawning and police and fire services not working which sucked: Ok, on to Stanton, the largest of the twin-cities. It's an american town so highways are important: This is the mayor artery connecting the north and south highways and going into downtown. The accentuated highway is a dedicated expressway, leading from the far southern and northern outside connections and downtown Kerry to downtown Stanton: Downtown interchange: Western interchange. The accentuated roads are connected to onramps or off ramps exclusively, bringing down incoming and outgoing traffic interference to a minimum: The central industrial zone and railyard. The onramps to the right are one-way, leading to the incoming and outgoing connection from the previous image. Managing industrial traffic is always a challenge, but stuff is functioning alright so far. Let's see if the infrastructure can keep up with the growing activity: Downtown hospital. Mater Dei Hospital and the Cancer Research Center are both excellent buildings to combine. Westermost interchange. I've tried to follow accapulco's advice and split traffic at an early stage:
