Buildings in the borough of queens: large Airstrip, two coal Power Plants = we started with wind but that quickly didn't work for long because we're an industrial powerhouse, an Amazon warehous- err a Prison = for the people caught profitee- err not holding down a job, six churches to worship our overlord the llama, four cemeteries = you know we from New York shizzle happens, a casino, an army base to call in the nat *censored*

This recreation of Stonewall Inn is based on its 1960s appearance. 1x2 growable CS§ lot for the New York 1940 and Houston 1990 tilesets. MaxisNite and DarkNite versions included. Download in comments section Sorry I've been holding out for so long - these are my favorite urban infill lots! They look great in areas between WTW rowhomes and detached suburbs. These are some narrow lot residentials I've been using for a long time in my game. Here they are lotted on conveniently sized parcels for easier development. These houses are often clustered together in tight parcels built by the same developer anyway. You can grow them on medium residential easily if you don't zone water first then historicalize them, or use growify. North Bergen Narrow Lots (NJ, circa 1910) available in 2x2, 3x2, 4x2, 7x2, and 8x2 lot sizes! St Louis Narrow Lots (Missouri, circa 1910) avail. 4x2 size only. Both sets of rowhomes are available as prop families contained within for easy relotting. Lmk if you encounter any other issues. This is a heavily tested file. -

Presenting, a WIP project - this is a scale accurate snapshot of a half-finished Manhattan island. I started working on this a few years ago, and stopped due to time constraints. The street grid is scale accurate where it's laid - now it's up to you to finish it! Mostly finished from 14th to 155th, and a bit of the Jersey side, including the (working!) western portal of the Lincoln Tunnel and Route 495 Helix. I'm abandoning this in favor of TCC's more expansive New York Harbor map, which I'm very excited to play! I'd love to see your take on the finished product - will you build the real streets or design your own network? Several NY landmarks are plopped in their real life locations as, well, landmarks. You will see the ones you already have downloaded, and brown boxes will appear for the ones you don't. Feel free to download or bulldoze the extra landmarks. Requires RHW47+ for FA networks and highways. -

Time for another map! This time it's New York City-Newark-Long Island, NY-NJ, USA. The largest metropolitan area in the United States, home to over 22 million people, the map includes all of New York City and its boroughs, Newark and parts of New Jersey and most of Long Island. The map is 28 x 24 large city tiles and is accurately scaled based on DEM data. It has been rotated so that the street grid in Manhattan can be easily built in game. In order to install the map you will need wouanagaine's mapper or terraformer as the file is in SC4M format. The lot uses a prop family with four color variations to match some of the most common real-life colors you'll see on similar buildings: medium brown, light brown, dark red, and gray. First of all I should mention these are not my models: they were made (with exhaustive attention to detail) by @EffTheGrid some years ago. I have not changed anything on these, my only contributions here are adding nightlights (in MaxisNite or DarkNite—use only one), mirroring the recolor, and of course re-exporting in high definition to show off FTG's work more fully. Mostly the lots are the reason I'm uploading this: recent weeks have seen increasing uploads of Fractional Angle content, @Null 45's Growify mod, and now @Kel9509's Ploppable Residentials config. While I have some ideas for fractionally angled content of my own I could contribute, I figured it would be a good idea to share these as well. All credit goes to FTG. This is a real building not far from where I live, depicted here by FTG as it looked in 2020 (Anthony's Deli has since expanded and now has an exciting animated sign which I completely failed to replicate; the building has also been repainted and renovated and thus no longer has its white rear walls). It is a mixed-use building with the residential apartments known as 3505 Wayne Avenue while the ground floor businesses are 169 to 181 East Gun Hill Road. The recolored mirror version as far as I know comes from FTG's imagination. It comes to SimCity in the following formats: Ploppable medium-wealth commercial services buildings with 169 jobs Ploppable medium-wealth residential buildings with 295 residents (requires Growify) Each format is provided with two three lots: 2x2 (standard), 2x1 (overhanging, set back 10.64m), and 2x2 (set back 5.32m and including the filler house) to fit different positions along a FA-3 network. As there is an alleyway behind the building, a rare phenomenon in New York, the 2x1 version allows you to fill it with the alley style of your choice. I didn't produce a 5.32m setback version, as on the other side of the alleyway is a house that's almost exactly 5.32 meters wide and which I figured I should BAT for the sake of realism, but have yet to get around to. It may or may not happen one of these days. I finally did get around to it and it is now included in the file—make sure to keep the .sc4desc file in the folder. Dependencies: Technically, none. However: Fractional Angle networks require the Network Addon Mod. DarkNite requires Simfox Day and Nite Modd. Plopped residential buildings will abandon unless growified with Null 45's Growify. I've heard that residential ploppables can be more easily accessed if you have memo's Submenus DLL although I haven't tried it myself. MN and DN versions are in separate folders; choose only one to keep in your plugins folder (the models have the same TGIs).- 4 Comments

This is a set of four buildings for fractionally angled networks. Included is an FA2 building overhanging a 2x2 lot, an FA3 building overhanging a 3x2 lot, and a mirrored version of each. They are inspired by mid-rise New York apartment buildings, but are ploppable, rather than residential, so that they can be placed along FA roads. Each building costs $100 to plop, and functions as a landmark. No dependencies! -

I want to recreate New York city for SimCity 4 but all I see here is tons of building downloads and it'll take forever to download them all since there are so many. So, is there a one stop place to get everything in a single download? Thanks.

488 Madison Avenue, also known as the Look Building, is a 25-story office building in the Midtown Manhattan neighborhood of New York City. It is along Madison Avenue's western sidewalk between 51st and 52nd Streets, near St. Patrick's Cathedral. 488 Madison Avenue was designed by Emery Roth & Sons in the International Style, and it was constructed and developed by Uris Brothers. The building was originally named for its primary tenant, the American magazine Look. The building largely contains a facade of white brick, interspersed with horizontal strips of aluminum windows. The lowest two stories contain a main entrance on Madison Avenue as well as several glass-and-metal storefronts. The three sides are connected by curved walls. The exterior includes several setbacks to comply with the 1916 Zoning Resolution. Each of the building's stories contain an average floor area of 19,500 square feet (1,810 m2), a feature intended to maximize usable office space. Lotting challenge! I have found some old sc4model files on a backup SD card from my old PC. Since I can't access the SC4BAT or PIMX programs anymore, here is your challenge: create a prop family from these models and lot them on a 2x1 setup. The original houses come from Queens, NYC. Thanks to whomever accepts the challenge, and please upload the lots to the exchange!
