    Located near (but not actually on) Bren Road, this generic late 70s office building can be found just off of highway 62 west of Minneapolis. A friend of mine used to work in its twin, which was torn down a few years ago, and I suspect this one will follow suit in the coming years. I drive past it frequently, so I figured it would be proper to immortalize this irreplaceable architectural marvel before it gets the wrecking ball. This building sits on a 6x6 lot and comes in growable and ploppable CO$$ varieties, both of which provide 758 jobs. Both Darknite and Maxisnite versions are provided. Only one may be used at a time.     Built in 1973 (clearly) and located in the Chicago suburbs, this building's color is one of the few things that sets it apart from thousands of its peers. Seriously, spend any time in the suburbs of any major American city and you will encounter approximately a billion of these. But very few of them will be gold! Somehow, this is not the first shiny golden 1970s office tower I've made. I have an affinity for buildings with colorful glass curtain walls, okay? Sue me. This building sits on a 5x6 lot and comes in growable and ploppable CO$$ varieties, both of which provide 1003 jobs. Both Darknite and Maxisnite versions are provided. Only one may be used at a time.     Completed in 1976 and designed by architect Jack Vicajee Bertoli, the Swiss Medical Research Foundation building, nicknamed "La Tulipe" (the Tulip) as a result of its unusual floral shape, is a brutalist landmark located in Geneva, Switzerland. Owing to its real life association with medical research, I have modded this version as a clinic (I don't think I've done one of those before, oddly enough). It sits on a 2x2 lot and comes in both Darknite and Maxisnite varieties; only one may be used at a time. The Darknite version requires Simfox's Day and Nite Modd.     Horwood Place, by Mattb325. --------------------------------------- Horwood Place is a bland 1970's building covered in signage from Sydney's second largest CBD, Parramatta. At 6 floors, this is the sort of building that makes a really good filler: there's a sunglass hut and an asian grocer on the ground floor, a taxation specialist office, a recruitment agent and other various small offices on the remaining floors. The roof has an oversized billboard and cellular phone transmitters to ensure that the landlords extract every last drop of rent from the space. It is offered as a 2x1 CO$$ and a 2x1 low wealth CS$ growable for medium density lots on the New York, Houston and Euro tilesets.     Designed by renowned architect Philip Johnson, the IDS Center was completed in 1972 and is located in Minneapolis, Minnesota. At 776 feet to its roof, 792 feet to the top of its rooftop window washing garage (included in its official height so as to narrowly eclipse two of its neighbors in the rankings), and 910 feet to the top of its antennae, the building is indisputably the tallest in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and the entire midwestern US outside of Chicago. Ever since I joined the site in 2005, I've hoped for someone to recreate this building (it's even my username). Since it never happened, I went ahead and made it myself! This one has been an on-and-off work in progress since about 2015, and after 8 complete revisions of the glass material and a few full days of rendering time, I am pleased to finally be able to present it to you. I have included CO$$ and CO$$$ versions in both growable and ploppable varieties, as well as an additional pair of CAM growables (which require this mod). All versions are available in Darknite and Maxisnite varieties and sit on 4X6 lots. The Darknite version requires Simfox's Day and Nite Modd, and only one version can be used at a time.     Retro Tower, by Mattb325. --------------------------------------- A mightily ugly relic from the late 1970's, Retro Tower (name changed to protect the identity of the real building), has all of the highly fashionable hallmarks of that era: bronze-tinted, rounded windows with extruded surrounds, buttressed external columns that taper at the top in a feeble attempt to give an otherwise dumpy little 10-story building the graceful look of a rocket ship about to take flight. While back in its heyday, it would have had top tenants such as Polaroid, these days it probably just houses a telemarketing call centre. This building is offered as a growable medium-wealth commercial officemid-rise building on all tilesets. It grows on a 3x2 or 3x3 lot. It has been modded to grow relatively infrequently, so the average user shouldn't see this taking over their cities. But just as in real life, not everything is a prom queen beauty, this sort of architecture helps lend a bit of gritty realism to SC4.     Amethyst Suites & Inn, by Mattb325. --------------------------------------- This is a fictional twelve story mid-rise hotel that I have made to fill a gap in the lack of larger CS§§ available for download. Particularly as your region starts to develop, having a lack of larger CS§§ buildings can really stifle additional city development. This leads to a drop in demand across your residential drivers and can completely tank any growth at all. This design is based on the Amethyst Suites and Inn from the promotional images of SC2013. The building as presented is a total retro-fest. A broad, ten story circular tower with multiple projections sits atop a two story podium that houses shops and the lobby. A decagon-shaped restaurant (the height of class in the 1970's) graces the very top of the building. Probably called the 'Promenade Room' or 'Sunset lounge' it is the perfect spot to order a sneaky 'old fashioned' or 'rob-roy' cocktail while the kids splash about in that other 1970's icon, the kidney-shaped pool, ten floors below.     Rhode Island Avenue Washington DC, by Mattb325. --------------------------------------- I'm always on the look-out for corner W2W buildings that have a bit more visual massing and layers than just a box with windows on two corner sides. This is just such a building that was inspired by one on Rhode Island Avenue in Washington DC. It is a 9 story building with basement parking, but the two 8 story projections and the angled entrance foyer help to break up the facade rather nicely. With its alternative stacked pale brick walls, it is also a total 1970's relic, which is still somewhat lacking in game. The building is offered in two different formats for corner lots. 1) A CS§§ growable on a 2x2 lot providing 239 jobs. 2) A CO§§ growable on a 2x2 lot providing 764 jobs. While most of your gearhead friends have cheap imports they modified on their own or brought their old man's Chevy to the track, you went for far-out aerodynamics. Don't get tripped up on the funky wing or pointed nose, Daddy-o! This masterpiece by Plymouth rocked the circuit to the max, back in the day with the likes of Richard Petty! And now it can be yours to show up everyone at the local car meet, too! About the Upload- There are eight vehicles contained in this zip folder. Each one is a 1970 Plymouth Superbird. They are High Wealth vehicles, given their status as collector's cars. These vehicles will appear on your road networks. Dependencies? None required.     Bayauxlaan Apartments, by Mattb325. Bayauxlaan apartments are a late twentieth century, medium density, 7 story mid-rise apartment/condominium complex. Each flat has large windows and floor to ceiling glass doors leading onto large balconies. There are two penthouse apartments. The boxiness of this complex is tempered by the curved balcony walls and supports which provide visual interest and lend an almost art deco feel to the facade. It is provided on two lots; 2x2 and 4x3 on medium and high density zones. Both of these lots have different stats to ensure even growth. This is an R$$ complex and grows on the Euro, New York and Houston Tilesets.     A small addition to the SC4 parking lots theme - set of the functional car parks to plop on roads and one-way roads. 47 pieces in total - in different sizes, with different types of parking spaces (parallel, diagonal, mixed), with various types of trees (no trees, Maxis trees, semi-seasonal trees) and lots of different vehicles. This set comes together with a prop pack of my simple car models from the 60s and 70s - MS_Motokloss_60s-70s_CarProps. About 60 old European vehicles in several variants (parallel, diagonal and “less diagonal” ). More info. in “read me” files - please check them. DEPENDENCIES: - BSC MEGA Props - CP Vol01 - for the semi seasonal trees. IMPORTANT - some people can't see the parallel asphalt parking spaces due to the "conflict" with some different plugin*. If you are one of them, please rename the folder "Motokloss" to "zzzMotokloss" to set it at the end of the loading queue. It should solve the problem. Many thanks to yigit007, who discovered this solution (see comments below). *It doesn't happen every time. I tested these parking lots in different plugin configs and never had any troubles, same with other users. _____ Notice, the pics below were taken with the loaded NAM Euro-road texture.     The BAT's architecture was inspired by a real building of this kind, built in Warsaw around 1973/1974 and designed by the Swedish architect Sten Samuelson. However it was not meant to be exact replica, there are also some differences. In game entire set offer 3000 parking places. NO DEPENDENCIES.

    5 star hotel from the Polish capital, Warsaw. Building was designed by the arch. Zbigniew Pawelski and built in the years 1974-1976. In game as CS$$$ plop and grow. NO DEPENDENCIES.
