KOSC Presents: Industrial Revolution Mod - Logistic Filler Set 1 Introduction This is a set of ploppable filler lots for dirty, manufacturing, and hi-tech industry which are designed to add some logistic support to your industrial areas. The set was designed with IRM in mind and as such, utilizes matching bases and walls from that of the original releases. Package Overview This package contains a set of 15 filler lots: 5 for dirty, manufacturing and hi-tech industrial areas. All the lots have props that are highly randomized. Parked trailers and semi cabs will show up in many different sizes and forms and sometimes not even at all. Lot stats are designed to match the original IRM fillers as closely as possible. This includes positioning indicators to help you align the lots with respect to other things around it. Every lot is nearly neutral, with negligible amounts of pollution, no power/water consumption and are maintenance free. All lots are $5 to bulldoze and are extremely cheap to plop ($5 for I-D, $6 for I-M, $7 for I-HT). The lots are located in the landmarks menu and clumped together with the original filler sets. Install Instructions Drop the files in your My Documents/SimCity 4/Plugins folder. Dependencies Use with the Industrial Revolution Mod and the associated filler sets is highly recommended. If you have the dependencies for those sets, you only need the following. IdM - Trucking Essentials HD North American 40ft Semi Trailers Vol. 1 HD North American 53ft Semi Trailers Vol. 1 HD North American Semi Truck Cabs Vol. 1 BSC MEGA Props Misc Vol. 2 Standalone users will also need the following. Props BSC MEGA Props SG Vol. 1 BSC MEGA Props CP Vol. 1 BSC MEGA Props Jestarr Vol. 1 BSC MEGA Props Jestarr Vol. 2 SFBT Essentials Textures Railyard and Spur Textures, Mega Pack 1.02 Credit goes to T Wrecks for the original Industrial Revolution Mod, which served as a template for the lot design of this set, and MushyMushy for the trucks which were the driving forces behind the conception of this set. Enjoy!

Karlsruhe Courthouse, by Mattb325. --------------------------------------- The district attorney's office in Karlsruhe is presented in SC4 as a functional courthouse. It is a reasonably accurate representation although I have omitted the high perimeter walls which are just a little too imposing for my taste. In addition to providing your sims with 128 highly desirable civic jobs, it will help alleviate the commercial and residential demand caps that can hinder city development by providing additional regional demand of over 80,000 CO§§ spaces and 10,000 Residential spaces. Given the way that the game is designed, in addition to providing health, education, safety, etc, using rewards is an absolutely necessary part of being able to develop large cities and regions. It sits on a 5x4 lot. * It is offered as a reward without needing to meet pre-existing conditions. * It is located in the REWARD Menu * It can be placed more than once in a city. * It DOES NOT over-write the ingame courthouse (or any re-lotted versions there-of), so can be used in conjunction with the standard Maxis courthouse reward. * It DOES NOT over-write any of my other courthouse lots (so can be used in conjunction with these as well). --------------------------------------- STATS: Lot size : 5 x 4 Plop Cost: §41,000 Monthly Cost: §910 Budget Item: Government Buildings Occupant Groups: Reward, Courthouse Demand Created: Jobs§: 16, Jobs§§: 104, Jobs§§§: 8. Convention Center, by Mattb325. --------------------------------------- Though fictional, this building is inspired by some of the modern architecture of China which shows an amazing combination of self-assuredness, ebullience and seemingly gravity-defying engineering. Sitting on a 6x6 lot, this is a large building with the lower three floors alone providing almost 8,000m2 of floor space per floor. At its highest point, the building is 8 stories tall. There is also a combination of exhibition halls (including high-clearance spaces), conference rooms, cafeterias and indoor/outdoor spaces. The entire building is arranged around a pleasant, treed central courtyard There are very few Convention Center buildings available for SC4, and even fewer that are actually *modded* as a Convention Center. This building provides some much-needed competition in that space. This BAT functions as a reward-lot and Convention Center in game. In addition to providing your sims with 154 highly desirable civic jobs, it will massively help alleviate the commercial demand caps that can hinder city development by giving an additional CAP relief of 270,000 CO§§ and 270,000 CO§§§ jobs in the region. Given the way that the game is designed, in addition to providing health, education, safety, etc, using rewards is an absolutely necessary part of being able to develop large cities and regions. * It is offered as a reward without needing to meet pre-existing conditions. * It is located in the REWARD Menu * It can be placed more than once in a city. * It DOES NOT over-write the ingame Convention Center (or any re-lotted versions there-of), so can be used in conjunction with the standard Maxis Convention Center reward. --------------------------------------- STATS: Lot size : 6 x 6 Plop Cost: §47,000 Monthly Cost: §220 Budget Item: Government Buildings Occupant Groups: Reward, Convention Crowd, Burning Dude Maker Demand Created: Jobs§: 108, Jobs§§: 40, Jobs§§§: 6. Dental Clinic, by Mattb325. --------------------------------------- Few people look forward to a trip to the dentist, but as every one knows, part of general health care is looking after your pearly whites. I've often wondered at how bad the Sims teeth must be, given that there is no specific health exemplar for dentistry and there are next to no such clinics in Sim City! This little building is inspired by a real such mid-century low rise building near downtown Los Angeles. I really liked the curved entrance façade and small, high windows within the curtain wall and of course, the unmistakable dental signage ensures that the building's function is immediately recognisable. As an added bonus, this building will function equally well as a stand-alone building or in a Wall-to-Wall environment. In game, I use buildings like this to supplement the main hospital function and I have modded the capacities to sit mid way between the clinic and standard hospital. But it will work equally well in a smaller city without the need for an additional hospital. --------------------------------------- STATS: Lot size : 2 x 2 Plop Cost: §1,250 Monthly Cost: §900 Patient Capacity: 1,850 Coverage Radius: 656m/41 Tiles Demand Created: Jobs§: 17, Jobs§§: 39, Jobs§§§: 12. Urban School by Mattb325. --------------------------------------- In real life, many schools teach students from Kindergarten all the way through to the end of Senior School, and, in this ghastly era of economic rationalism where every public institution must return a profit to justify its existence, many are also forced to host more lucrative adult evening classes. Having schools in SC4 that cater for Elementary through to High School is nothing new (for example see my Bourke St Public School: Bourke St Public School), but combining junior, senior and adult education in the one campus hasn't been done before (to my knowledge). The Urban School combines all three functions. It is crucial to note that this school is not designed or modded to be a radical lot. If you want a radical lot that increases education levels with no cost and taking up no space, then this is not for you. Placing this lot merely emulates all three functions of the Maxis Large Elementary School, the Maxis Large High School and the Maxis City College in terms of Capacity, Radius, Cost and School Effectiveness vs Average Age categories; using the upper limits of each school type to create a single multi-purpose institution. It houses up to 14,500 students and has a very large coverage radius. EQ Boost and Population vs Distance stats are the same as the standard Maxis schools. The Bat itself is fictional, and is based on any number of more modern educational institutions. The central entrance area houses adminsitration, cafeteria, gymnasium/indoor courts & auditorium; the junior school is housed in the smaller wing, and the senior school laboratories and workshops in the larger wing. The adult college uses the senior wing after 5pm once all of the students and day teachers have gone home. This is a large building and lot, weighing in at 8x8 tiles (a bit over 4 acres in the old parlance) and has ample room for a soccer pitch, grassed relaxation areas and the typical asphalt surfaces where countless kids can graze their elbows and knees when falling over. It provides 390 teaching jobs. Visually, the lot is best placed on a corner, following the contour of the front driveway area. Like all my Bats, I have thoroughly tested this concept in both a Vanilla game and a full (4+GB) plugins for over 500 Sim Years in each and haven't observed any abnormal occurrences. In other words, all education levels increased when placed, desirability increased, rewards were unlocked, teachers went on strike when funding was dropped etc, etc. However, if there are any issues, please report them on my thread (Repository of Garbage, Broken Dreams and Disappointment). --------------------------------------- STATS ELEMENTARY SCHOOL, HIGH SCHOOL and COLLEGE: Lot size : 8x8 Plop Cost: §16,150 Bulldoze Cost: §1,160 Catalogue Capacity: 14,500 Catalogue Cost/Mth: §5,700 Pollution: 10 (Air)/ 7 (Water)/ 5 (Garbage ) Pollution Radius: 2/3/0 Coverage Radius: 5,800 EQ Boost: 24 School Effect vs Age:20 (5), 30 (5), 40 (5), 50 (5), 60 (2.5), 70 (0.5), 80 (0) School Pop vs Dist: 100 100 Power Consumed: 18 Mwh Water Consumed: 70 Gal/Month Occupant Group: Civic; School; SchoolsHS; SchoolsK6; Strikable Education; College Demand Created: R§236; R§§134; R§§§20 --------------------------------------- NOTE ABOUT DARK NITE vs MAXIS NITE: This download contains TWO model files; one for dark nite users (and other night-time darkening mods, such as Gizmos night-mod) and one for the standard Maxis nite. (http://community.simtropolis.com/files/file/23089-simfox-day-and-nite-modd/) --------------------------------------- NOTE ABOUT PARKING TEXTURES: ****Sigh**** I look forward to the day when I won't have to write a ridiculous parking texture disclaimer for every Bat I release..... The area in the front of the administration and senior wings is reserved for buses and teachers cars only. I have deliberately left massive parking areas off this lot as it is already a large size (large lots attract extra crime) and there are so many custom parking lot options available that you can place your own parking, or, you can use the lot editor to maroon this BAT like some desert island in a dull endless sea of asphalt and white lines to emulate middle America. --------------------------------------- DEPENDENCIES: To ensure proper functionality, make sure the following files are in your plugins: *BSC BAT Props - Mattb325 Vol02.dat (http://sc4devotion.com/csxlex/lex_filedesc.php?lotGET=2383) *BSC MEGA Props - CP Vol01.dat (http://sc4devotion.com/csxlex/lex_filedesc.php?lotGET=1180) *BSC Texture Pack - Cycledogg V01.dat (http://sc4devotion.com/csxlex/lex_filedesc.php?lotGET=101) --------------------------------------- To install, simply unzip the contents of this file into your plugins folder. Perth Council Building, by Mattb325. --------------------------------------- Inspired by the Council Building in Perth's Stirling Gardens, here is another iconic early 1960's building. This is an example of the modernist style with Bauhaus leanings, and has distinctive external 'T' shaped sun-shades in alternating patterns over the curtain glass wall to block out the hot Western Australian sun. Conversely, the roof area has a perspex covered walkway which I imagine would be about as comfortable as an ant under a magnifying glass in the broiling summer heat! It is with the 'T' shaped awnings that I taken most of the liberties with this building; reducing the width of the top part of the 'T' to ensure that each sun-shade is clearly visible in game rather than blurring into one. The real-life building was actually slated for demolition in the 1990's, but was saved and renovated as well as adding one extra floor at the top of the building. Recently, the building was also fitted thousands of coloured leds: hence, the unusual, and prettily-coloured night-lights. This BAT functions as a government building and town hall in game. In addition to providing your sims with 185 highly desirable civic jobs, it will help alleviate the commercial demand caps that can hinder city development. Given the way that the game is designed, in addition to providing health, education, safety, etc, using rewards is an absolutely necessary part of being able to develop large cities and regions. It sits on a 5x3 lot and will easily blend in with other park lots (such as the SFBT mid-wealth set) that use the Maxis R$$ plain grass. Similarly, given the fact that the building is 13 floors high, it will also work well in a dense city environment. * It is offered as a reward without needing to meet pre-existing conditions. * It is located in the REWARD Menu * It can be placed more than once in a city. * It DOES NOT over-write the ingame town hall (or any re-lotted versions there-of), so can be used in conjunction with the standard Maxis town hall reward. * It DOES NOT over-write any of my other town hall lots (so can be used in conjunction with these as well). --------------------------------------- STATS: Lot size : 5 x 3 Plop Cost: §47,000 Monthly Cost: §1,170 Budget Item: Government Buildings Occupant Groups: Reward, Courthouse Demand Created: Jobs§: 23, Jobs§§: 151, Jobs§§§: 11. Old North Church, Boston, by Mattb325. --------------------------------------- Built in 1723, this is the oldest church in Boston and is famous for having been the church from which Paul Revere received his illuminated signals ("one if by land, and two if by sea") prior to his midnight ride to warn Lexington and Concord during the American Revolution. The church is a national historic landmark and a mission of the Episcopalians. This building is modded as a non-conditional House of Worship reward (meaning it can be placed in your city at any time without having met prior conditions). It does not over-write the Maxis House of Worship rewards and can safely be used in conjunction with these (or any relotted version thereof). Placing this Reward provides R§§ CAP relief, has a park effect, boosts the mayor rating and also provides up to 17 highly desirable civic jobs. Museum of Modern Art, San Francisco, by Mattb325. --------------------------------------- Inspired by the recent SC3000 uploads, the Museum of Modern Art (MOMA), San Francisco is a non-profit organisation and holds an internationally recognised collection of modern and contemporary art, and was the first museum on the US West Coast devoted solely to 20th Century art. The present building was designed by Mario Botta in the late 1980s and the building - as depicted here in SC4 - was completed in 1995. It was recently given a large extension in 2009, but I have not modelled that part of the building. This building acts as a Museum and sits on a 4x4 lot providing 315 highly desirable civic jobs and gives a large educational boost across a wide radius. Please be aware that the present day Harrods has been extended and remodelled a number of times since the main building on Brompton Rd was completed in 1905, so this is NOT a strict recreation, but what I present is faithful to the original façade as designed by Charles Stephens, albeit with modifications to make it more game-ready. I have only modelled the front portion of the building. It must be noted that the present building has completely over-run the old streets of 'Queens Gardens' and 'New Place' and wrapped its way around what used to be known as Queen Street and Lower North St (since renamed Hans Rd and Basil St respectively), consuming the old Hans Mansion block and other buildings in the process. Because these streets run at odd angles and curves, even with the FAR roads and other NAM advances, I felt that modelling all of this would make the building almost completely unusable for the average player. Additionally the original building, aligned to Brompton Rd, was slightly wedged shaped - the old line is still somewhat visible under all of the present day roof additions from Google earth along the Hans Rd façade. Naturally I have squared this off to get this into game, which means that the rear of the building is completely fictitious. The present roof junk and extension of the Mansard roof along all facades is modelled - with slight variations by me - on the most up-to-date renovations: you can compare the differences by using the Google earth program (up-to-date) vs. Bing ?birds-eye/Google maps (out-of-date) to see the remarkable difference to the roof-top in recent years. Lastly, in order to fit the building on a maximum of 8 tiles (which will give it at least some chance of growing), I have removed one set of windows near the turret. Given the lag on my computer, I have also avoided modelling the hundreds of bulbs on the Hans Cres and Hans Roads sides. With all of that said, if you are strictly puritanical about recreations being 100% accurate, then please do not download this. The lot comes in two flavours: a growable Commercial Services and a ploppable, functional C§§§ lot, which is found in the Landmarks Menu. Both have the same stats. --------------------------------------- STATS CS§§§ & Ploppable CS§§§: Lot size : 8 x 4 Growth Stage: 8 (Medium and High Density Zoning)/Ploppable Bulldoze Cost: §631 Capacity Satisfied: CS§ 11,140, CS§§ 2,787, CS§§§ 1,117 Pollution: 50 (Air)/ 33 (Water)/ 67 (Garbage ) Pollution Radius: 6/7/0 Power Consumed: 209 Mwh Water Consumed: 1,871 Gal/Month Building Style: Chicago/NY/Houston/Euro (N/A for Ploppable) Occupant Group: Commercial Services Building NOTE ABOUT DARK NITE vs MAXIS NITE: This download contains TWO model files; one for dark nite users (and other night-time darkening mods, such as Gizmos night-mod) and one for the standard Maxis nite. 12. An odd thing has been happening to me the last few times I've loaded up my save: some ploppable RICO buildings have been showing the little "this building is turned off" bubble. Funny thing is I can't turn them back on because when I click on them they give me the RICO information - no on/off button available. It's not game breaking but a little odd. Any ideas? I've been bulldozing and replopping the buildings which seems to fix them, but when I save and load up again different ones have the issue.

Quay House, by Mattb325. --------------------------------------- Inspired by the art deco buildings around the Portsmouth, UK area, Quay House is a large (at least by the standards of the 1930s) eight story building in the functionalist style. The boxy building is broken up by complex massing and many terraces to allow air and sunlight to permeate the building, both of which were a very serious component of any good early 20th Century architecture. The main feature however is the off-centred granite clad staircase and lift riser with an oversized clock. The lot comes in two flavours: a growable High-Wealth Commercial Office and a ploppable Clinic, which is found in the Health Menu and is comparable to the in-game hospital in terms of capacity and coverage radius. Both lots are 3x3. --------------------------------------- STATS CO§§§: Lot size : 3x3 Growth Stage: 4 (Medium and High Density Zoning) Bulldoze Cost: §481 Capacity Satisfied: CS§§ 565, CS§§§396 Pollution: 2 (Air)/ 2 (Water)/ 4 (Garbage ) Pollution Radius: 6/7/0 Power Consumed: 16 Mwh Water Consumed: 184 Gal/Month Building Style: Chicago/NY/Houston/Euro Occupant Group: Commercial Offices Building STATS CLINIC: Lot Size: 3x3 Occupant Groups: Civic, Health, Strikeable Health, Hospital, Ambulance Maker Plop Cost: §1,850 Jobs: Jobs§24; Jobs§§60; Jobs§§§19 Bulldoze Cost: §100 Power Consumption: 6 MWh Water Consumption: 22 Gal/month Pollution: 3 (Air)/ 2 (Water)/ 1 (Garbage ) Pollution Radius: 3/4/0 Hospital Coverage Radius: 784 Hospital Population vs. Distance: 100 / 100 Hospital Effectiveness vs. Average Age: 8 / 8 Hospital Patient Capacity: 2,900 Hospital HQ Boost: 11.52 Catalog Capacity/Catalog Monthly Cost: 2,900 / § 1,200 --------------------------------------- NOTE ABOUT DARK NITE vs MAXIS NITE: This download contains TWO model files; one for dark nite users (and other night-time darkening mods, such as Gizmos night-mod) and one for the standard Maxis nite. Please note that I will use whatever parking textures I feel like on my lots. If you want something else, then use the lot editor. Please also note, that this particular lot is only a 3x3 so what you see in the picture is a separate lot placed behind the building; you are therefore free to place your own parking lot or not (as the case may be). --------------------------------------- To install, simply unzip the contents of this file into your plugins folder.

City Data Center, by Mattb325. --------------------------------------- This is a fictional building, the idea for which was inspired by a BAT by Heblem "LBT Torre de Comunicaciones Telmex" available on CapitalSimCity. In real life data centers are used for many companies who either a) outsource their IT infrastructure or b) wish to house their IT infrastructure in a seperate location from their main offices due to either lack of space or for business continuity and disaster recovery purposes. I made this little building for myself and have decided to share it. It is representative of data centres that are often dotted within denser urban locations: its boxy, heavy set design with raise entry is meant to ensure it can withstand ram-raids and bomb attacks. This data centre will fit into a W2W environment, but also as a stand alone building. It is designed for a 2x2 PLOPPABLE ONLY lot - it really isn't something that you want springing up multiple times in a city - and provides relief from demand caps for Res and I-HT (in real life Hi-tech industry rarely houses its IT infrastructure within the factory walls that it occupies). It is in the Landmarks menu and functions as ploppable IH-T industry. It provides 325 Hi Tech Jobs. --------------------------------------- STATS: Lot size : 2x2 Plop Cost: §12,810 Occupant Groups: Hi Tech Industry Wealth: High Wealth Demand Created: Jobs§§§: 325. Eddy Hall, Minnesota, by Mattb325. --------------------------------------- Inspired by a picture posted by a member of Simtropolis, the real Eddy Hall was constructed in 1886 as the Mechanic Arts Building for the University of Minnesota. The actual building is a simplified Queen Anne style executed in red-brick and red sandstone trim. The square tower which is slightly offset from the centre of the building dominates the frontage; it, together with the multi-gabled roof, large windows, patterned brick panels and wrough iron cresting make this a charming, eye catching building. This version is not a 100% accurate copy, but it is true to the language of the architectural style of the original building and this is simply one that I made for myself, but have decided to share with the community. The lot comes in two flavours: a growable Commercial Services (3x2 and 3x3...there is always an insatiable need for CS§§§ in game) and a ploppable College on a 4x4 lot, which is found in the Education Menu. --------------------------------------- STATS CS§§§: Lot size : 3x2 & 3x3 Growth Stage: 4 & 5 (Medium and High Density Zoning) Bulldoze Cost: §610 Capacity Satisfied: CS§ 975, CS§§ 246, CS§§§100 Pollution: 6 (Air)/ 4 (Water)/ 8 (Garbage ) Pollution Radius: 6/7/0 Power Consumed: 28 Mwh Water Consumed: 249 Gal/Month Building Style: Chicago/NY/Houston/Euro Occupant Group: Commercial Services Building STATS COLLEGE: Lot size : 4x4 Growth Stage: Ploppable; Plop Cost §1,650 Bulldoze Cost: §140 Catalogue Capacity: 4,000 Pollution: 3 (Air)/ 2 (Water)/ 1 (Garbage ) Pollution Radius: 6/7/0 Coverage Radius: 5,600 EQ Boost: 24 Power Consumed: 6 Mwh Water Consumed: 23 Gal/Month Occupant Group: Civic; Strikable Education; College Cost: §650 --------------------------------------- NOTE ABOUT DARK NITE vs MAXIS NITE: This download contains TWO model files; one for dark nite users (and other night-time darkening mods, such as Gizmos night-mod) and one for the standard Maxis nite. Old Delaware County Courthouse, by Mattb325. A request by a fellow SimCity player, this building drew its inspiration from historic photos and drawings of the Delaware County Courthouse that once stood in Muncie, Indiana. Sadly, this eyecatching courthouse with its high victorian 'wedding cake' design and grand side staircases was demolished in the 1960s. This game asset is offered as reward that DOES NOT replace the original in-game courthouse (nor any other custom lot) and it is offered without the need for pre-existing criteria to be met. It can be placed more than once in a city and can co-exist with the default Maxis courthouse reward if you so wish. In addition to the benefits of enhanced crime fighting offered by the courthouse, I have modded this building so that it also provides 50 very desirable civic R$$ jobs, has a positive effect on commercial areas, provides a landmark effect, improves the mayor rating and is useful in lifting residential demand caps that hinder city and regional development. The cost to the monthly city coffers for this government building and all of the benefits it brings is $118. It sits on a 6x6 lot and is sure to make a grand centerpiece for any small city. This is my entry for the Content Creation Competition. A 1x1 ploppable triangle lot for diagonal corner filling. I got my inspiration from Prepo's Triangle Parks, but I wanted to do something different. Something more industrial and grimy. This is a functional landmark with 14 I-M jobs. The pollution is low so this can used in the city centres. I have made a custom foundation, so it can be used with slopes. This does not float on the air like Prepoäs lots. Also both Dark Night and Maxis Night versions are included. However it does not have nightlights. These seem not to be working with overhanging props and I don't know any workaround for that. DEPENDENCIES: None. (However if you use my Clerkenwell Library FAR version, you can delete file InvisibleLibrary-0x5ad0e817_0xc40b002e_0x30000.SC4Model This is a duplicate and the same file is used in both FAR Clerkenwell Library and Vic Shoppe Lots)

No dependencies. All lots are 5x5 ploppables in the Reward menu, available at the start, and are network and transit enabled (capacity: 100) Maxis lighting. This project is inspired by the first version of SimCity (Classic) now called 'Micropolis' developed in the 1980's and released as open source. The 7th preview is an image of a session of playing the Java version of Micropolis that is freely downloadable from github.com. In Micropolis there are only three same-sized squares for RCI zoning. I've used the reward system in SC4 to re-lot all 6 of the large commercial office buildings, 2 of the largest high-wealth residential, 1 of the largest high-tech industrial buildings, and 1 agricultural building. All the lots are the same area size like in Micropolis. The queries are the same queries used for the buildings as grown in the game. The associated reward will only be indicated in the reward menu as the item is selected and plopped. The lots contain code for both the reward and the replacement building so apparently the lots provide the benefits of the reward as well as the operation of the building. The intent of making these lots is providing access to the buildings so the reward function was not evaluated, but the queries do report capacity usage for the replaced building --no 'goofy stat' for the reward. NOTE: Residential ploppables may indicate some usage initially, but will quickly degrade to Abandoned Due to Commute Time so are not functional as Residential. Previews of Buildings Featuring Terrain Mods (see Preview and Install.html in zip file) Terrain Resources Listed in: Cori's Terrain Shoppe Descriptions of the 10, 5x5 Large RCI and 1 Civic Building are included in the zip file: The buildings appear in the reward menu with a unique menu icon, the building and reward names. The Opera House, Farmer's Market and Tourist Trap rewards also appear in the Parks menu. • Van Prooijen Trading: Commercial: Convention Center • Ong Condos: Residential: Major Art Museum • Hurt Enterprise Headquarters: Commercial: Tourist Trap • Hogan, Wallace, and White Insurance: Commercial: Resort Hotel • Cahalane Communications: Civic: Bureau of Bureaucracy • Lind Entertainment: Commercial: Stock Exchange • Byall Tower : Residential: Opera House • Tubing Facility: Industrial: Advanced Research Center • Alvin's Acres: Agriculture: Farmer's Market • Pedriana Pharmaceuticals: Commercial: TV Station A stage 8 CO§§§ building in the Chicago tileset. Capacity: 7,103 ______________________________________________________ I've given this lot project the name MicroProject and made a logo for identifying the lots in the Reward and Parks menus. Each lot appears near the original reward, with a building icon and the logo overlay. The original reward is not replaced. The re-lots are available at the start of a new city. 23. I found that file while tidying up my stash, and I am trying to make it work. No readme, and I can't find it anywhere online -- perhaps one of paeng's on our defunct simpeg, sigh. There should be EN-Bripizza boat models to make the file work, as I found EN boat lots* in there. but it doesn't work. Can't find other EN boats [not barges] anywhere online. And the paeng boats don't appear in my Test plugins menus ; only three EN boats in Water Transport, which all flag "missing something". Does the name of paeng's file or of EN's ring any bell anywhere ? Heeeelp !

Better Images in Description I have updated my Twin Towers I BATed back in September to bring you a new version! I felt the updated was much needed after finding some time to do so. I feel now they stand as they should for SimCity 4's standards. I'm sure most of us already know about the Twin Towers, what they were, what happened to them, etc. They were once great landmarks located in Lower Manhattan, in New York City. They were once the tallest buildings in the city and the state of New York. Standing on top of either tower would give you a feeling of being on Top of the World. If you'd like to learn more about them, feel free to read their Wikipedia Article for starters. Personally, I find them to be marvels of architecture. I miss them highly, and I hope that they can stand indefinitely in SC4 at least. Installation Instructions: You do not have to demolish any lots. You can either delete the original model files from the previous upload and replace them with the new model files, or you can simply use the zip file to replace all files at once. The lots are exactly the same previously, the only change is the model files. Stats- Each tower sits on a 5x5 lot. Each tower is CO$$$ and provides about 21,000 jobs each. They are ploppable landmarks only, and are found in the landmarks menu. Dependencies- None! All added props for these towers are included. Special thanks to Mattb325 for modding the first version, then doing some more modding work for the new version. Thanks as well goes to T Wrecks and Gn_leugim for their opinions on this. Images/Screenshots: I hope you all will enjoy this update! I tried to update the original upload and unintentionally deleted it. -Brandon

Bureau of Bureaucracy, by Mattb325. I present another civic building: this is an example of the Beaux Arts style which was popular for government buildings in the late 1920s and early 1930s, as its domineering style represented stability and permanence. This game asset is based on a real building in the US city of Texarkana and in game it is modded as a similar variation of the Bureau of Bureaucracy. Like the Bureau of Bureaucracy, this is found in the rewards menu and sits on a 4x4 lot. Unlike the Maxis counterpart it is available at any time and can be placed more than once. Like the in game version this building provides highly desirable civic jobs, and helps raise demand caps and mayor rating which is vital if you are to continue building a large city. It DOES NOT replace the in game version and both the Maxis and my version can co-exist in the same city if you wish.
