"If you try to please everybody, you often times end up pleasing nobody, especially yourself. When somebody offers to do a favor for free, like making a mod for SimCity 4, you shouldn't be overly critical of something generously given to you. In other words, you shouldn't look a gift horse in the mouth." - Twilight Sparkle after playing SimCity

Ah, who doesn't love a good set of statistics?  Especially when you see your own name among them.  2012 must have been the height of my city journal-ing days.  Replies are a good way to give out likes and whatnot.  I sadly have not been as active recently as I was back then.

    Very cool, thanks for the info!

    With regard to TBS I'm pretty sure he would've hit the mark or at least be very close to it as well if you include his old account.

    Out of curiosity I added up the cumulative yearly totals for the top 20, the percentage is how much each years total compares to all time high hit in 2017

    2009 = 7,196 = 14.9% (287/365 days) = 19.0%
    2010 = 18,886 = 39.2%
    2011 = 25,471 = 52.9%
    2012 = 18,838 = 39.1%
    2013 = 30,953 = 64.3%
    2014 = 22,879 = 47.5%
    2015 = 23,058 = 47.9%
    2016 = 30,994 = 64.4%
    2017 = 48,162 = 100.0%
    2018 = 32,419 = 67.3%

    20 data points is not a lot so the margin of error might be significant enough to make any conclusions invalid but it would appear that 2017 was when rep activity peaked. Likely due to a confluence of several factors i.e.; more activity on the site, members being more generous, the quality of work being better and others.

    @Takingyouthere

    I'll refrain from adding the :???: reaction to your post, but I confess I am completely confuzzled for what those percents mean. Seems like the total of them add up to more than 100%. Heck, 2017 has 100% of something all by itself. o.O

    Wow 2017 was really impressive

    Cori, I believe that's the percentage when comparing to 2017 when rep activity was the highest.

    BTW I just realized 99,6% of my rep given are likes, I'll change that :ducky:

    I'm bad explaining anything, so I'll try with an example. 2017 is our reference year because it's the year with the most rep points computed. In 2012, for example, we had only 39.1% of what we had in the best year, 2017.

    Interesting stats! I haven't been around much lately, so I suppose my production is starting to plateau.
