Well, I finished the mediterranean island I started to create recently, so let's see..... We arrive via a tourist boat at the small port. Then we have to clamber all the way up to the first terrace... Here we are, exhausted, but excited. The St. Michaelis priory is famous for its delicious wine.... Doesn't this look delicious? After that, we go to a small settlement on the same terrace.... Imagine the view you'd had every morning We finally reach the core of the town, on the upper terrace: The thing in the...

Lenwood Country Club

Fields and farms.....cows and horses.....meadows and creeks....hills and forests.......isn't nature beautiful? Why don't spend some time there? But...camping? Really? No. Of course not. Why don't visit.... LENWOOD COUNTRY CLUB? Awyeeeeeee! With gorgeous view on the forest we destroy to gain money. Many squarekilometres of former habitat, now golf course. Champagne-filled pool and much more! You may even visit the village beside and look how the people who serve you live. Just a joke, nobody is interested...

Here are some impressions: Replies 89James89: Thank you and yeah, I missed some details, I didn't really know how I should fill them places^^ Ln X: Thank you and nope, it's the Sudden Valley Terrain Mod:D feeroz123: Wow Thanks but I'm really missing details behind the river shores:/ dlsni: Meh, I hope you find some time for SC4:D

Night Shots #1

Darknite is fabulous! There will be less entries this week, because I have to learn many stuff for school. Have a nice evening guys! Replies Huston: Thanks, since draggable FAR and the instantly smooth curves it's so easy to use the diagonal network systems and it makes towns and cities much more beautiful. Nearby I noticed you comment really often on my work and the work of others, so thanks for supporting us small CJ'ers 89James89: I'm glad you like it:D Thank you for the complimets:)

As 2nd special I decided to show you my extremly bad skills in working with the RHW. So I just build a RHW 4/ RHW 6s intersection (with the new NAM 32 pre release) without any tutorial, experiences or anything else:D It should work, but I'm sure it's the worst way to build a T intersection. I mmp'd the pond just because there was so much useless, free area. PS: Yeah, the bad photoshop work is on purpose, just to fit in the rest of this special of nonsense, the text is there to underline my stupidity in...

I thought it would be interesting to show you my style of playing. Maybe I can help you or maybe you can help me, so please give me as many tips as I can:D At first I search for an area (in this case I used the edge of the RHW intersection I build for the last entry) and start to laying the street grid (I make it as curvy as I can, so it doesn't look like a chess board:3) After that I already begin to zone It will be a suburb of a bigger city, so I let there be some agriculture too. Then I plop some parks...

Farmland #1

Here I am again. I wasn't really motivated this week, so there were'nt any new entries. As I told you, I update irregular, but next week the christmas vacation begins in germany, so I'll have enough time then. Therefore I made a little mmp work: There are no mmps in the last picture. It's all the Arden seasonal tree controller (you may have noticed I really like that one ) Have a nice evening guys! Replies agunter999: Thanks!

Small Town #1

So finally the update with the small town today, let's just begin. I don't really know why the custum §§R houses don't grow as much as I want.... (No MMP's but Arden seasonal tree controller) So I tried to build a town, I'm sorry there weren't much mmp's today. Have a nice evening! Replies: Huston: Thanks But I think the sidewalk is way too big, it should be more tight > Fox: Wow, that's a huge compliment I actually save often but I'm mostly too tired to restart and rebuild the small amount of "crash...

I was bored, so I practiced my marina skills, but didn't focused it on this entry, because....ummm....I suck at marina. Yes, everytime I build one, it looks ugly. So I focused on the hotels: (It seems that the texture on this building conflicts with my colour/contrast changes, I uploaded it though) That's all for today, have a nice evening! Replies 47ply: Thanks, but I have this hodgepodge of buildings too, I complained in my last entry about it:D infamousjbe: That's a valuable advice, but I already...

At first, special thanks are going to Ln X, who was my tutor for this entry and showed me his tricks to grow decent looking industrial areas, a big "Dankeschön" for him. Now let's just start: I hope you don't mind the Sepia/Foggy looking style, I think it's a bit too dense sometimes:3 Well, that's it. I think I now can handle these industrial stuff, though I'm not nearly as great as my teacher^^ I hope you all have a nice evening, I'm now going to party hard. Replies (finally ) Tonraq: Thanks, I didn't...

Well, because of job problems (I have them all the time....literally) I decided to develop another industrial area in one of my cities. Step 1: Search a good place Nice one, along those major road and the rail line, some trees for a good start for the high tech industry I need. Step 2: Build the traffic grid Yeah, should be ok, I guess. Won't be a huge area, so minor streets are ok, but maybe you should use some of the modded avenues like Ave 4 and so on. Also buid some stations. Step 3: Civics Fire...

Well, I struggle with some bugs in the game, but I finally managed to upload some new pics. Here we are: First problem: the tree controller doesn't work properly. I use Arden, but I never get a leasent result with none of the sub-controllers included in the main file. I checked all my plugins and I'm sure I have all the dependencies. I used the River-Controller in this city and you see, I get nearly no actual trees. I'm not sure if this is purpose, but the trees are really rare. With the coast-controller...

Some random pics again

Yeah, I played on an older town of mine again, I kinda forgot during the months. The update is already today because tomorow is a holiday in Germany and after that, there is 1 week no school:D I'm a bit exhausted though, because we had a excursion today and visited the local home for asylum seekers; playing with the children and stuff, it was really fun:D But enough of the pseudo-diary here are some pics: A quick shot of the whole settled area of the region Some suburbs in the northern part of the city...

Hello and welcome to my first bigger entry not about just a small point of a map, but the whole map at all! Let's begin... The first thing you see as you visit the town, are a bunch of farms, delimited by small forests Then you have to drive some minutes on the highway To enter the town, just drive off at the interchange, then some minutes on the other highway, then drive off and - voila - you're in the town immediately. There not living many people, but the traffic connections are very good. (You see, I...

Damnit Moments #1

Just a filling today. So I hope you all know these "Damnit" Moments we all have time to time? I tried to build a small, lovely town with industrial zone in the north and a rail and -bus system. Look what i got: I didn't even want to get mid wealth! That's the reason why I like mmp-ing, you'll never have such problems. Anybody knows how I can get rid of that? No demand mods installed and not even a huge demand for mid wealth at all. have a nice evening though
Moerp
Today I'm just uploading a small filler, so you have something from me again:) I saw the new entry of Journey through Paengia by Paeng and I was just amazed about it. Inspired by this, (I wasn't really motivated the last days, because the vacations in Germany ended) I just build a small city centre using some of the mods from SimPeg, kinda Paengs content website. Here you go: It's a small new housing profit across the urban pond in the downtown. Across the street, there's a small commercial centre, so the...

Well, it's my first actual try on a w2w-city and I really like the main shape of this town. I just have the problem, that sometimes one or two single-family homes grow in more-story apartment districts. But at least I fixed the problem with employment crisis the most elegant way - I ass-kicked the §§§ sims with enourmous taxes out of the town:D And it works way better than before. Here are the pics: Some suburbs are never allowed to missing, especially in my cities^^ That's it, have a nice evening and...

Filler #2: Four Seasons

Today just a quick low quality filler. I tried to make a "Four Seasons" theme, but without a snow mod and a seasonal building it's quite pointless. The watermill is the "Summerton Mill" available on the LEX. Spring: Summer: Fall: Winter: There isn't also enough difference between spring and summer in my opinion. I just wanted to show you something till nextweekend. Have a nice eveni....wait, it isn't in the evening already....have a nice afternoon though guys. Replies Huston: At first, thanks for the...

Filler #4: housing project

Well, this post is fomed of some pictures I recycled from my recent forum entry and a brand new, exciting, fricking, mega-hyper-dyper new picture!!!!!1eleven! Oh my gosh, it's such a perfectly lazy way to post new Journal entries! Now seriously, I worked on a city today but I only got one new picture, and because I don't think it makes sense to post multiple times only one picture in a mostly weekend-based CJ. So here you got your recycling (it saves the enviroment too): And the new one: Have a nice...

Damnit Moments #2

Today I show you Simcity logics: We have a big industrial area with many jobs.... ....a big highway (for only 6000 inhabitants!!!) without any traffic jams.... ....many commercial areas..... ....AND NO JOBS THOUGH-.- It has nothing to do with the entry at all, but could you recommend any low wealth service-commercial BATs? i only have gas stations^^ Replies Please comment my last entry though, I will reply to you in the next one, promise... pcwhiz24: Thanks for the compliments, I use the Pyrenean terrain...

I became peg-addicted recently, so I just had to create a entry about this....it just makes so much fun Murimk's lots are awesome! I forgot to turn off the grid the most of the time and I was to lazy to re-do it as I noticed, sorry :/ Have a nice saturday guys! Replies Lost Realist: Thank you You're the maker of "Josephinia" right? I already said it in the comment section, but: man, it's awesome!

Well, my mourning break was at last as long as I usual break (you may have noticed, i usually post new entries at friday), so it was probably pretty normal for you. I think it's a nice idea (though I not invented it) to connect SC4 with music sometimes. This is a song by a relative famous (reggae) singer from Germany (Translation here) I'm sorry but the copyright control company "GEMA" has blocked the original video (yes, it's kinda facism), so I could'nt show you the music video but one with just the song...
