  1. Hello Everybody, I keep experiencing two problems, which I packed up into this post... 1. For some reason, when I try to increase the range of ambulance services for my clinics and hospitals, the range doesn't extend at all beyond about 85% funding available in a slider (100$ out of 120$ for a clinic). I'm not sure if this is a normal game mechanism or some kind of bug? The ambulance range won't extend further, even if the funding keeps increasing. 2. From time to time, I experience a bug in which after placing several instances of a ploppable (say, a square of grass) the placement cursor turns red on the next tile, even though the location is not occupied or otherwise invalid. Then, I can't place any more of the item, unless I move the cursor away and then back. Then, I can place a single instance of an item again, then, repeat having to move the cursor away. Any ideas?

    Modern Hospital, by Mattb325. --------------------------------------- This is a purely fictional larger style hospital. This building houses an emergency department, surgery, pathology, outpatient and other clinical facilities typically associated with purpose built hospitals. Curiously, in SC4 hospitals take up a very small footprint, so in reality, this would be a small to medium sized hospital, but to accurately replicate real-life arrangements would take well over 30 tiles width and depth! There is a real lack of large-scale medical facilities in SC4. Hopefully this goes some way to addressing that gap. The patient- (up to 32,000) and jobs provided- (up to 6,100) capacities are also very large to reflect the real estate that this building takes up. There is a helipad built into the hospital. The helicopter on that helipad is not functional. The lots however do count towards the medical helicopter mission in the UDI. I have deliberately avoided using the in-game helicopter tag automata as this casts a strange and terrible shadow across everything and UDI is not something I typically use at all. This means that if you use the UDI function, you will notice that the helicopter may hover above the hospital trying to land for an extended period of time after the mission is completed. If this is likely to bug you, simply remove the occupant group 0x0000151A in the reader or add the helicopter tag in the Lot Editor (ensure that all instances of the hospital are bulldozed prior to making these changes). However, if like me, you don't use the medical helicopter UDI mission, you will never, ever see any of this at all and the previous paragraph can safely be ignored . The lot comes in two flavours: a 10x10 lot with parking spaces suitable for a more "suburban" set-up and a 7x6 lot without parking that is suitable for a more dense urban area (if you use the 7x6 lot, simply place one of the ingame or many custom garages to simulate parking). You can use both lots simultaneously and do not need to choose one over the other. Both lots have identical stats.     OFFLINE ONLY This is my first mod ever for SimCity (5) 2013 , so let me explain what i have done in this mod called RESTRUCKS . This mod changes the frecuency time that all service car (police,fire trucks,ambulance) arrives to your town , and not only the service cars it also changes trade depot (not the big) trucks frecuency making it almost instantly spawn , so take care of this mod , you will have a better response time from neighbour city services . *I'm sorry , i wrote wrong the install instructions , please follow the new ones : SimCity\SimCityUserData\Packages ---------- package called SimCity-Scripts_287520926 in folder.     We're going old school, folks . This mod allows you to plop the large ambulance bay from the hospital as a module for the clinic. It will plop on the road as the clinic ambulance bay already does. I may create a video for this mod, although I don't know if it will be necessary. How to install: 1. Last night, parliament met in a special meeting, and decided to bring forward two years of health plan renewal: Clinics will be built in cities of over 5000 inhabitants, and a general hospital will be erected at Fortaleça with the latest technology and emergency and specialized medicine departments. Four specialized units outfitted with the latest life saving technology, cast a reassuring presence while racing through red lights to the scene of an accident. This breakneck caravan replaces the game's default Granny Getter with the following randomly generated models: 1.) The "Emergency" ambulance is most common and functions as a portable Emergency Room. 2.)     "WSP" stays for the "Warszawska Szkoła Pielęgniarstwa" ("Warsaw's Nursing School"), which originally resided in the bated building, designed by the architect Romuald Gutt and built in the years 1927-1928 with use of the fashionable at the time grey cement brick. After the WWII the building has been turned first into hospital and then into a medical clinic "CePeLek", which is there till today. BAT has some changes comapred to the real thing. There is also the mirror model included. This one has few features taken from the post-WWII reconstruction, like the side entrance style and the shortened chimney. In game as: - PLOP-Hospital, half diagonal - max capacity 3300. - PLOP-School, half diagonal - max capacity 1100. - PLOP-CS$$, half diagonal - 400 workers. (Same values for the original model and its mirror, diagonal lots come with white or sandstone pavement texture to choose.) - GROW-CS$$5, 5x5 lot - 740 workers (both models coupled together at one squared lot - can work as stand alone building or large W2W corner). NO DEPENDENCIES. The Renault Trafic ambulance prop (which you can see at the pics below) is part of the set. It is available in 0°, 5°, 20° and 45° settings.

    Brazilian Ambulance (call 192) SAMU: Serviço de Atendimento Móvel de Urgência (Mobile Emergency Care Service) The SAMU is a Brazilian pre-hospital emergency care service, used in urgent and emergency cases. It was conceived in France in 1986 as Service d'Aide Médicale d'Urgence - which uses the same acronym "SAMU" - and is considered by specialists as the best in the world. SAMU is the brazilian Mobile Emergency Treatment Service offers by the Federal Government in association with the States Government. put this file in \simcity4\plugin folder.   15. Some of the service vehicles are not working at all or cause strange congestion in traffic. While congestion issues could've been handled with remove/adding back the garage, some of the vehicles (like ambulance!) simply do not leave the garage and won't start working. I will list some of the symptoms I've had so far: School buses literally parked right in front of the school, not moving. (congestion) Ambulances do not leave the garage. (remove/add didn't work) And I am not sure whether these have something to do with navigation AI or simply statistics: Adding police cars does not reduce the crime rate. Even though past events clearly show all of the criminals are arrested, statistics still say 80% of them ran away. Even though fire trucks reaches the destination, where burning building is, statistics still show at least 80% of the buildings were burned. (however no rubble from fire) Trashes/Recyclables are not picked up entirely (I already have 4 fully upgraded trash/recycle center) Visitor(tourist) counts go up to 1.5 MILLION average, however I have NO, NOT A SINGLE tourist on the map. (all of businesses are desperate to have more shoppers) p.s. for some reason I cannot get into technical issue forum. Is it closed?

    Well,those monkeys have escaped from the DRC a few too many times. Nowthey've taken over the city's ambulance system. They all wear lab coatsso it's official. Go figure. This modd was requested by my littlesister. Unzip into my documents/SimCity 4/plugins to install.
