I have started using RHW and it is a bit of an uphill battle. Currently, I am trying to get nicer curves with RHW-4. But it seems all the pieces from the RHW Curves Button I am trying to use cannot be placed next to each other. So I can only ever make one direction curve. E.g. I can manage to get the RHW-4 Inner Curve. But when I try adding the RHW-4 Outer Curve, it keeps switching to the opposite angle. Only moving it further away, creating a really wide gap, seems to work. The NAM Documentation stays silent on this and only ever shows a single direction in the examples, never both. I looked as well at @Haljackey's NAM Highway Tutorial on YouTube but did not see anything there that would help. I am sure am I missing something but what? Perhaps somebody could share an image of an RHW-4 45° curve and maybe point me to the right way of creating it?

Finally something is here to fill those bendy roads! These Tudor-style Cs$$ shop parades will turn your 90-degree curved roads into busy highstreets full of detail. They come in 1x1 lots with overhanging props: one covering the inner side of the road, one the outer side. The ploppable version includes icons in the landmark menu. Alternatively you can download the growable version and plop these with the extracheats plugin, like I personally do. In this case you'll find them listed under Cs$$ JFF shop parade. The pavements (sidewalks) are separate props so you can remove them in the Lot Editor or use them in other lots too. Both versions weigh less than 400KB, the rest of the download is pictures! DEPENDENCIES -I bet you already have all of them? Essential for the model: JFF Victorian Row Houses Megapack 01 JFF Victorian Row Houses Megapack 02 JFF Victorian Semi-detached Houses Pack 01 Essential only for the growable version: JFF Victorian Row Shops Pack 01 Optional for the few props in the back: BSC MEGA Props - SG Vol 01 Historic Harbor (Barrels.dat) SFBT Essentials If you enjoy the result of a lot of time-consuming hard work (S3D modelling requires one to calculate the coordinates of every single point, to manually map every polygon, to include some shading in the textures, and to fit the textures into the size of FSH files) let me know through likes and reviews, and stay tuned for more coming to the STEX! As you can see, I used a monorail 90 degrees curve, but there is no way to connect the original road and monorail? Please tell me how to solve it.

Hello all, me again for a quick question, how to get my NAM curved pieces to have pavement / sidewalks on them on not just grass? Looks wierd having buildings built around them with just grass. Many thanks, Jimmy.

Hi!! I'm using: Also installed this MOD years ago: Now during confinement I have reinstalled the game with all the plugins and note that one of the NAM avenue curves does not have its sidewalk. I upload a photo: I remember that the last times I played SC4 it no longer worked and the only thing I can tell you is that I installed NAM 36 around that time. Do you know why this error could be caused? Thank you very much in advance!!

I don't know what is happening to my roads all of a sudden but as I was playing my game this evening I found that I can no longer drag out wide radius curves in any network because they break up like this: I've never had any issues with curves in any network since I've been using NAM until now. Puzzle pieces work fine as long as I don't try to drop them on top of these broken curves. If I keep the original tight curves I can drop the puzzle curves on top. Any ideas on what is causing this all of a sudden?

Smooth (Maxis) Avenue Curves? How do I get them
sys12189 posted a topic in SimCity 4 General Discussion
I've seen quite a lot of pictures with smoothly curved avenues, such as this: (original pic is from https://www.sc4devotion.com/forums/index.php?topic=5706.20 ) I know that road and street curves are done by putting a single road tile next to the planned-to-be curve, but apparently the same doesn't hold true for avenues. These curves with the default Maxis avenues were quite common, but I couldn't find a puzzle piece that does that, let alone any draggable solution that I know. I'm using NAM 32 version, and I'm sure draggable curves are enabled in this version. I have no trouble dragging curves with roads (with a bit of practice) and streets, and FARs can be dragged too. However NOTHING seems to work with those avenues.... help is needed!! Something like the picture is what I want to achieve, preferrably by dragging/Non-puzzle-piece version. There's got to be a Maxis avenue curve somewhere...... -

The Camberton is a specially designed building with tight LODs, strategically placed to allow it to be built around RHW networks. As the part of the name "camber" implies, the facade is designed to fit around a curve; specifically the ERHW FlexFly MIS curve. It took me months to create this, so I hope you enjoy it! Here's how you can get the most out of it: First, plop it down anywhere in your city. Note that the building hangs a great deal outside of it's lot: Next, place the ERHW FlexFly MIS curve: Finally, you are now able to build some road networks underneath: You can enjoy it in both day... ...And night! Note that the building has been relotted after these pictures were taken, so it does not stand in the way of ground-level RHW. The updated version that has been lotted this way is TheCamberton2.zip so I suggest you download it instead. As well, keep in mind that this building is a statistically well-balanced park lot, meaning it produces little pollution, demand etc. and can be found in it's respective menu. The lot does still require a seperate building however, this can be downloaded as a dependency: http://workingman-pr...lotment_Set.zip I hope you enjoy this BAT, there are more to come in the series of RHW compatible buildings. Check out my BAT thread for more information!- 22 Comments
