About This File


After many years as a user on this site I deliver my first model to the STEX.

2 North LaSalle is an office building located at the corner of LaSalle and Madison streets in downtown Chicago, Illinois. It was designed by the architecture firm Perkins & Will. It stands on the site formerly occupied by the historic LaSalle Hotel, which closed in 1976. 2 North LaSalle was completed in 1979 and with its 26 stories stands 316 feet / 96 meters tall.

Contents:
A 4x3 growable CO§§ lot (Stage 8) for the Houston 1990 tile set
A 4x3 ploppable CO§§ lot( §21,892 to plop)
A 4x3 ploppable CO§§§ lot (§21,892 to plop)
each providing 2,833 jobs.

This model was created entirely using the open-source modelling software Blender and the BAT4Blender add-on developed by Memo. You can follow developments in this thread.

have re-exported and re-modded my first BAT. Contents of the new version are as follows:

A 4x3 growable CO§§ lot (Stage 8) with 2640 jobs
A 4x3 growable CO§§§ lot (Stage 8) with 1848 jobs
A 4x3 ploppable CO§§ lot( §20,508 to plop) with 2640 jobs
A 4x3 ploppable CO§§§ lot (§23,662 to plop) with 1848 jobs

So what you say is now it is possible to create a SC4Model file with nightlight from scratch to finish with just blender? That is a big breakthrough if real, imagine I don't need to pirate myself a discontinued 3D software in an OS that didn't work, I can just port my SU file into blender.
