Hi there! Puignevat, the 3rd entry of my CJ, a mediterranean small town surronded by olives, oranges, and vienyards fields. When I build mediterranen big cities I am used to zoning residential areas with medium density, especially 2x2 or multiples of 2, and I leave 1x1, 1x2, 1x3 for low density areas. That is what I am used to. But in this case I wanted to try zoning only 1x1 with medium density since there are many buildings of this type, and that way I was able to leave spaces for patios and gardens inside the blocks of houses. I think it is quite good for a small town like this. Hope you like it!

I would really like to thank @justforfun @albireo38 @raynev1 @JulioC for their kind comments 1. Hello everyone ! This is another city entry for my Agrophilia V2.0 city journal. This time I will show you an expansion over the city of Grecana in order to accommodate the Old harbour of the city. The Old Harbour of Grecana has nearly mythical origins, as it was built by the first Grekani colonists in the area. The harbour ceased to be the main port for the city after the 1970s, and it is only partially used for specific boats to feed with tap water the city of Grecana. The extended & final version The Old harbour is consisted of both modern and traditional buildings. At the centre , the old main building of the Harbourmaster offices are now dorms for the School of Maritime Economics. The same with the old admiralty building, which is now the building that is housing the student association. 5. An overview of the final area 6. The Campus Map 7. The modern buildings of the university are connected via a bridge and housing modern student and teaching facilities. 8. In proximity, you can find the maritime museum of the city and of course the promenade and the alleys, which are known for the restaurants. 10. The view from the hill. Rock texture replacement, hope you like it. It's an HD texture so it will only look good if you use an HD terrain mod. Installation: Unzip the "AGC Rock Cliff 03.dat" file in your terrain or rock mod folder (Or make sure it's in a zzz_ folder). 1. Hello everyone. Welcome to Santa Cleopatra monastery celebrating the Ferragosto or the 15th of August feast common in Italy & Greece. Agrento fields and village have a new addition, apart from the majestic islet of Porphyri. This time I tried to build a monastery inspired by the Meteora, Greece. Extensive landscaping work has to be done in order to create the base of the monastery. Overview of the final work and the 3 parts of the How to do are on youtube: 2. 3. We had also to landscape the nearby area in order to house the vineyards that are providing the income and the annual amount of wine needed for the monastery and also as an export for the local community. Some vegetable and lavender fields built also with a limited amount of olive groves and fruit trees, mostly towards the motorway. 4. 5. 6. 7. I created a serpentine road, which is quite common for the old rural or national network around the European south. Then I placed some tram poles lowered as the old style barriers. Agricultural housing used are still from the vanilla costal EE assets, for which I also recreated a 2 floor farmhouses. Props, various flora and rocks added alongside with dead tries to enhance the immersion. 8. 9. 10. 11. 12. 13. 14. 15. 16. 17. The trees added are mainly apple trees, oaks and a mod called very long trees in order to recreate cypresses. 18. 19. 20. 21. 22. Another update is that I downsized the highway from 6 to 2 lanes after being such a hot topic on my reddit posts. 23. 24. 25. Last addition, was the feast of the 15th of August feast at the monastery. For this one I used a good amount of ploppable citizens provided by the CS2 mods section. I added also the coaches parking and the stalls selling food to clothing to the visiting pilgrims. It is a quite a thing on an every religious feast happening around the Mediterranean villages, especially during summer. Of course, the size is significantly smaller than the real ones, but it worked as a space filler and adding some uniqueness to the whole build. 26. 26A. 27. 28. 29. 30. 31. 32. Porphyri islet is a mini project that makes our area to get that med vibe. The how to build tutorial is available on youtube and you are more than welcome to have a look of the process: A slender strip of land separates Argento village from Porphyri Island. 1. 2. 3. Porphyri, considered one of the most beautiful islets in the region, is home to the ancient Temple of Neptune and lush orchards. Just a short walk from Argento’s cafés lies a stunning pebble beach with crystal-clear waters. 4. 5.6. Nearby, the old fishing harbor now stands abandoned, adding a touch of history to the landscape. I feel like I have not been active in the community for a while, but I am still BAT-ting and enjoying the game - apologies for the distance! I was not sure what to call this pack, but nevertheless, here are a pack of four churches/cathedrals inspired by those found in Valletta, Rome, and Paris, all with my signature Mediterranean feel. They are offered as museums and libraries in-game under the education menu. Only dependency is here. -

Eloaria, a mostly growable region, inspired originally in the Mediterranean, but mixing different styles. Eloaria is the name of my region, and also my first and only MD I started some years ago at SC4Devotion. Meaning this City Journal is a continuation from my old MD. The region is the same, I simply enlarge it a few weaks ago (still working on it) because I have plans to develop a few islands and much more. Last months I restarted playing SC4 deeply, and I'm enjoying it most than ever. IMO last DLL mods (specially Submenus, Copy buildings function, Growify function, etc) makes SC4 lighter and smoother to play. It's a relatively new experience so thank you and @memo and @Null 45 for your great contribution. And of course all with NAM49 improvements. So I want to thank you all NAM members still active ( @Tarkus , @rsc204 , @Lucario Boricua, @Shadow Assassin, @rivit , etc) and other active BATers, LOTers, MODers, CJers (such as @Barroco Hispano, @hugues aroux , @jestarr , @smf_16 , @Tyberius06, @Ulisse Wolf, @Haljackey and much more ) who continues to make this game growing. It's also nice to see old time players their style I always admired ( @Ke|is @art128, @mitsos ) still on the road. And of course thanks to @CorinaMarie and @Cyclone Boom Administrators Team for maintaining this site. Even though I miss @BadSim and his incredibly imagination with Antigone, and @Girafe creations (although I know he is still active). And much more members. I'll start with my region (I know, I have to finish terraforming or exporting some maps, I have to thing what I want exactly on the east tiles): And a "mosaic" I recently show on "show us what you are working on" threat. Polish Prop Packs - Jacks Iberiada Set Models by Jack (simcitypolska) This Polish Prop Packs - Jacks Iberiada Set Models contains all 61 models, that Jack created for his Iberiada Sets in a single DAT file. This DAT file now also contains prop examplars for each building and each prop examplar is organized into one or more Prop Families. There is a Polish Prop Packs - Jacks Iberiada Set Models-PropFamilyIDs.jpg in the ~Documents/Prop-Texture Catalogue Index and Cleanitol folder which shows the used IDs, the name of prop families and how many props belong to each family. Please note, as part of the SimCity Polska Restoration efforts and with the permission of the Simtropolis Staff Members (Cyclone Boom, CorinaMarie and Tyberius06), this file has been uploaded on behalf of Jack. This pack was created for easier use in case of 3rd party relots, see related discussion here. This prop pack replaces the models from the original Iberiada Set**, and acts as a dependency for other sets. This prop pack is coming with its own prop examplars and prop families; it may work as a dependency for @kergelen's Iberiada Set re-lotted, but it does NOT replaces the prop examplars and prop families that Kergelen created for his re-lot set. **To avoid conflicts, please, it is highly recommended to use any of the third party cleanitol tools and remove any previous versions from your plugins. Optionally in the ~Documents folder in the main ZIP you can find the cleanitol script and by using either the newer nos.17's SC4 Cleanitol or the older BSC Cleanitol tool you can search and remove old and outdated versions of these files. Installation: Copy/extract the SCP parent folder into your plugins. If you extracted the ~Documents folder into your plugins, too, it's highly recommended to keep it, but move it out of the Plugins folder. Un-Installing: To un-install the files, simply bulldoze every lot from this download in your cities and delete the files from the plugins folder afterwards. This is a set of growable low density residential lots for SHK Villas, and 3 CS$ low density growable lots. I found SHK Villas a nice Italian/Mediterranian style houses addition to the game, but unfortunately the autor (shokthrpy) only looted them as eyecandy lots. That's usefull for a MMP scenario but not for a growable city. Back in 2013 I decided to lot a growable package for my cities but never uploaded the pack. I think it's time to upload them. Happy Holidays community! I wanted to get something out to you all before Christmas and these are what I landed on. A pair of fantasy grand, Mediterranean-style hotels. The larger of the two (a 6x6 lot) can be found in the Parks menu and the other 3x4 w2w lot) is a ploppable landmark with CS$$$ jobs. Only dependency is Barocco Hispano's trees found here. Hello everyone! I really enjoyed making my first house pack so... here i am again! This second pack consist in 2 models, each model have 4 variation and each variation at least 3 (up to 5) lots. I did the math fot you. It's 37 lots. As for the previous pack, all the lots come in 1x1 and 1x2 sizes and are suitable for a w2w environment. They all belong to the Euro tileset. If you haven't already done so, feel free to take a look to the previous Salento House Pack DEPENDENCIES - BSC Common Dependencies Pack - You will also need the gorgeus Environment DLC by Barroco Hispano for most of the trees to show up in lots EDIT: One of the models also come as a commercial building, despite it doesn't appear to be one. I did it on purpose, to reflect the fact that many people in south Italy may work from home. This doesn't only apply to remote workers but also to beauticians, barbers, lawyers, financial advisors (...and so on) that may have their office/laboratory right into their homes. If you are not interested in this feature simply delete the "CS$$" files from the R_SalHouse_07 folder.- 3 Reviews

Happy New Year community! I have been sitting on these for a bit and finally got some time to upload. A pack of Mediterranean residential and commercial buildings based on those found on the French Riviera. In the DarkNite set, a large Mediterranean-inspired hotel is included as a CS$$$ plop - please feel free to delete the lot/desc file and lot to your heart's content (you know I stink at lotting). - Euro & Houston tilesets - Medium zones - Nightlighted, either MaxisNite or DarkNite* - No dependencies *DarkNite version requires SimFox's DayNNite Mod *These have been tested, however please let me know if you find any issues -
AMENDOLA Amendola is a city that is divided into three levels. In the first level there are farms There are also solar power plants a beautiful wide road that goes towards the mountains surrounded by large farms The road suddenly becomes a small highway But there are also mountain roads that offer a beautiful panorama or you can take the railway But if you take the highway there is a tunnel that connects the most modern part of Amendola. There is also a train depot and train station Avenues and with beautiful villas but if we take the road the mountain road... ...we see the ancient part of the city of Amendola A small mountain tourist town There are two roads that are parallel to Lake Casamassima. From this side you get to the terminal part of the lake with its complex system of dams While from here you go upwards. Towards the Siculian Alps with mountain towns and tourist centers But returning to the ancient city of Amendola here is the central square with the church and the town hall But if we move to the part of Lake Casamassima there is the procession on boats of the patron saint of Amendola. CORATO The bridge that divides the city of Amantea with the small town of Corato If we continue to follow the highway in addition to characteristic Mediterranean buildings we can admire a spectacular landscape, but you have to temporarily exit the highway to see this magnificent landscape A small but very developed town With its small industrial area If we follow the highway we can see a nice highway interchange but if we follow the road we can see a beautiful dam with a large reserve of water The environment is very natural that there is also a beautiful beach or we can admire the farms but if we follow the highway we can see spectacular tunnels and bridges even the scenic mountain roads are nice to see But if we follow the river backwards we only have a natural spectacle of waterfalls On a rock pines have formed that are called Lone Pines at the end you get to the lake that feeds this system of waterfalls which in turn is fed by three waterfalls the scenic mountain road passes through this lake before it enters a tunnel but when you exit the tunnel you find yourself in front of Corato Antica. Hey folks! After a long period of modeling and modding, I want to start playing the game again, and I always wanted to create my own city journal. This CJ will be from a modders perspective: I will link the mods and assets which were used in every episode, and I am planning to include a small review for every item.There will be some special mods and assets just for this CJ (of course I will publish them for you)Sometimes I will explain you how the game works internallyAlthough there are thousands of nice assets in the workshop, I will only use a few of them. Every asset increases the memory usage and load time!Visuals are quite important for me, but I also want to create a city that works. That means I will not use cheats like Unlimited Money or Unlock All. From time to time, I will share screenshots of the traffic map and the building level up progress. The map will be based on real terrain. The major roads will also follow the real street map. That will be the basis for a fictious city. Let's begin with the entry before the first entry: Entry 0: Introduction Image created by Pdg, released under CC BY-SA 3.0 My city will be built on the terrain of "Cap de Creus", a spanish peninsula that extends into the Mediterranean Sea. From Wikipedia: I visited the area a few years ago. I took a few pictures of the monastery and the view from the mountain behind it. There are ruins on top of it: For this CJ, I selected the northern part of the peninsula: There is not much space to build, so this will be a challenge. And there only one road connection leading from from Figueres (Spain) to Port-Vendres (France). The 5x5 tiles area also contains some totally flat land in the south west: That's the end of the 0. entry. What do you think so far? Did I select the best part of the peninsula? Now we can still change it. --- Next time we will import the terrain.party height map into the game for the first time.Then I will show you how to edit 16-bit height maps correctly.
