AMENDOLA Amendola is a city that is divided into three levels. In the first level there are farms There are also solar power plants a beautiful wide road that goes towards the mountains surrounded by large farms The road suddenly becomes a small highway But there are also mountain roads that offer a beautiful panorama or you can take the railway But if you take the highway there is a tunnel that connects the most modern part of Amendola. There is also a train depot and train station Avenues and with beautiful villas but if we take the road the mountain road... ...we see the ancient part of the city of Amendola A small mountain tourist town There are two roads that are parallel to Lake Casamassima. From this side you get to the terminal part of the lake with its complex system of dams While from here you go upwards. Towards the Siculian Alps with mountain towns and tourist centers But returning to the ancient city of Amendola here is the central square with the church and the town hall But if we move to the part of Lake Casamassima there is the procession on boats of the patron saint of Amendola. San Lorenzo Maiorano But the night comes and the city changes coloring The central square of the ancient city of Amendola at night The night creates a special combination of colors Houses are lit up while streets light up streets and buildings Even the train station has its own charm at night The industrial zone is the area that is particular at night with neon lights COMMENT REPLIES: CORATO @TheMurderousCricket Thank you for the compliment. It makes me happy that people enjoy reading my city journal. There is a lot of content about Siculia that is not available on ST but only here. Also Siculia has its own wiki @juguesal Thanks for the comment @TogaMasterJohn Thank you @Rage Thank you. Currently the main mods are the MBEAR set and Iberiada Set to build Mediterranean cities. Then there is the PEG set and other mods that make a list is difficult

CASAMASSIMA The city is crossed by a beautiful highway with a junction you can go to the city of Casamassima The city is crossed by the railway that divides the city with farms The city obviously has a railway station the city is very picturesque with its vibrant buildings But the city is located at the foot of a mountain range and there is a road that climbs the mountain with elbow roads and a tunnel After a tunnel you find a nice show a system of two dams if you follow the road we get up in altitude with curved roads and tunnels and then to get to the dam that is at the top of this system with a vantage point both at the bottom and top of the dam Of course the road leads to Casamassima Antica a small town on the mountain Here is Lake Casamassima born from the construction of the two dams If you follow the power line you reach an electrical substation that carries a part of the electricity that powers the capital of Siculia: San Foca Near the electrical substation a small industrial area was born next to the farms of course there is a highway junction that connects the farms and the small industrial area with the highway and the city Obviously a nice highway and railway bridge was built to cross the river While from Casamassima Antica starts a road that goes to a nearby mountain village Obviously when night falls the city transforms. Especially Casamassima Antica with its small lights illuminate a side of the mountain Even the lights of the dam illuminate the night and the mountain the only light that crosses the river are the lights of the highway bridge and the railway bridge The deep night is very nice when there are lights that illuminate the buildings differently To conclude the train station overnight COMMENT REPLIES: GRASSANO @911Diva Thanks @Kloudkicker Thank you for the compliment @mitsos Thank you for the compliment @tomz16 Thanks @Hammurabi Thank you for the compliment @monkeywater Thanks. I use the MBEAR set to recreate Mediterranean cities

GRASSANO After the motorway leaves the city of Ruttigliano it crosses a vast region of farms A large area of farms where many agricultural products are produced But the highway meets an important state road and here's Cloverleaf interchange near the entrance to the city The city is crossed by a beautiful avenue The city has a nice old town with a nice cathedral Other buildings in the historic center of the city in front of the train station there is a nice canal The city is located on the slopes of a mountain now eroded The city has a freight station near the industrial area where there are many industries that produce handicrafts the industrial zone is located between the city and the vast farms the sun sets and the night comes the heart of the city is completely different at night even the buildings that are in front of the canal are beautiful at night The avenue at night looks completely different than the day. People go out but there are also those who are at home to watch the AINVision final While people go to sleep there are the lights of the industrial and commercial area that illuminate the city COMMENT REPLIES: RUTIGLIANO @AP Thank you for the compliment @Kloudkicker Thank you @20huskies Thank you @Dgmc2013 Thank you for the compliment @The British Sausage Thank you @astragale Thank you for the compliment. PISTICCI Pisticci is an agricultural town. The Strait of San Foca divides the city with the capital San Foca Since there are many farms there are composting plants and biomass is used for electricity production It also has an innovative purification plant where the wastewater produced by the city is used to power the power plant Other farms that produce great food The city is crossed by the highway The city is crossed by the railway. This is a depot of the Siculia Railway Corporation The train station transports many workers from Pisticci to the large city of San Foca. In addition, Pisticci has a tram system that connects the modern part of the city with the ancient city The city has a nice city park connected by tram Tram starts climbing the mountain to get to the old town. Near the tram network there is an old road path before the new road was built The trail climbs the mountain and reaches the old town This is the old town tram terminal From the old town starts a mountain road The old town has many old buildings. Also a villa and a colonial fort Here is the cathedral of San Rocco the patron saint of the city The city also has a nice lake that is frequented for creative activities At night the city is influenced by St. Seal. At night you can see the lights of the skyscrapers of San Foca. However even Pisticci has its own beautiful charm at night. This is the cathedral at night The old town tram terminal at night The city park is beautiful at night The modern city has many skyscrapers but is low compared to the skyscrapers in San Foca The industrial zone at night COMMENT REPLIES: CASARANO Schulmanator : Thank you for your comment mosonče : Thank you for your comment. Vigata Vigata is a city that overlooks the Atlantic Ocean. Before the town there is a small fraction of Vigata called Montelusa. Here is the small historic village Descending from this small country that sits on a Hill you reach the highway linking Vigata with its airport and with the rest of the nation. Here is the highway and its beautiful countryside with the farm While we are approaching the city the Sun is going down and that's an old train station close in a modern industrial area And here's a piece of the city during sunset..... ....and the beach The night has fallen is the city is transformed into a lively centre. And one of the radio stations that are all the rage in Siculia is Nightride FM Here is a piece of radio station... ...and the city at night with its shopping mall with a river But now we move into downtown where there is a lot of movement of people bargain hotels and modern skyscrapers The city at night: between lights and people making noise The Platani River which crosses the city and historic bridges and some modern High speed train station between old town and downtown Finally the Church of San Gerlando in Agrigento by night COMMENT REPLIES: SICULIA' LL BE BACK First of all those pics were being tested with various effects so thanks to your feedback. michae95l: Thanks for the comment BugeyedDragon: Thanks for the comment. Canalia : Parks & Quiet Neighbourhoods
tariely posted a City Journal entry in P.R. Crastina's Travels (SC4)
Just some impressions of Canalia for P. R.'s scrapbook, a last tour of the city, with parks : some last minute shopping for gifts to bring back at the Saint-Matthew shopping Mall, a last walk on the old port's Promenade, and then it's back to the airport and back home. -
They don't fool around with the puck in Canalia, when they invite a writer (but no, they don't play hockey), they put her to work at once. P. R. had barely unpacked her bags that she had a reading and lecture at the local University. After which she was allowed to stroll around. She's eyed some free city bikes stands nearby, she will tour on wheels. Had a good training in her previous venue, Villatesta -- a good thing. First, the university grounds themselves, then the St Hilda Basilica and its gardens. The City Archives (and one of its many museums) is hosting a delightful exhibition : Seventeenth & Eighteenth Century Flemish painters of still life. Amazingly life-like fowls, vegetables, fruits... P. R. is getting hungry. Time to look for a nice restaurant. Hey, there's one just nearby. Serendipitous.

Today was our first day to wake up in Saturnia. But today was a busy day, so it's best to get right to it. And of course, you'd rather get up early for something enjoyable than something dull. But I digress. We got on the subway for the second time to go to old city. Old City itself doesn't have any subway trains or bus stops within, but there's a subway station just outside the borders of the district. The townhouses that lined the city in the 1700s still stand today, and despite its age, it is still a vibrant neighborhood. It is oftentimes full of tourists, but there are still evidences of the local culture around the place. The said "three spires" of Old City are possibly Saturnia's most recognized landmarks. St Mary's Church, the State House, and the Labor Markets are those three. They were finished in 1742, 1738, and 1748, respectively. While we were visiting the Labor Markets, the skies opened. It was raining, simply put. Not exactly the weather you want to get caught in while sightseeing. The rain can be nice and peaceful sometimes, but other times not. The market was completely indoors. It was built to be the main site of selling agricultural goods. It got its name after the work that was put in to providing for the city, done outside of city limits. While it was still raining, we went to the Museum of Saturnian History to complete the day's theme of history. The museum itself is definitely of high quality, and recommended to any visitor to Saturnia. The exhibits effectively cover the entire history of the city, from the 17th century to the present day. The Neo-Classical building the collection is housed in is also great. At night, the dome of City Hall was easily visible, but it was worth walking over to the plaza to see it up close. The dome is around 300 feet, and is also a certain must see.
