Valemount between the Rocky, Monashee, and Cariboo Mountains is the fifteenth entry in my British Columbia series. This 5x5 large tile region is to scale at 419 km². Two versions are available to download: The SC4M file requires SC4 Mapper to set up. The png/config file for if you have a Mac or have preference for the ingame region import function. This version of the region requires downloading High Elevation Import Mods w Erosion Control Parameters and using "Mallow's Original 2500m.dat" file. Installation instructions are listed below. Note: The png/config will render somewhat different than the SC4M version. The first region screen preview shown here is the sc4m version with the Appalachian Terrain Mod, and the last preview is the png/config version with no mods. Region Installation Instructions for the png config version 1. Navigate to your SimCity "Regions" folder on your computer. 2. Create a new folder for the region in this folder and move the grayscale map png file and config file from this download into the folder. IMPORTANT: Follow the next few instructions so your region doesn't render underwater 3. Download High Elevation Import Mods w Erosion Control Parameters: https://community.simtropolis.com/files/file/16790-high-elevation-import-mods-w-erosion-control-parameters/ 4. Take only "Mallow's Original 2500m.dat" from the download and place it in your "Plugins" folders. 5. If you have any terrain mods such as the Columbus Terrain Mod, Middle European Climate Mod, or Appalachian Terrain Mod, etc. or related files you will probably have to temporarily remove them from the "Plugins" folder for the region to install correctly. 6. Launch SimCity 4 and load the new region folder you made. The region is flat but the tile layout is visible. 7. Hold the Ctrl+Shift+Alt+R buttons together which will display a file navigator in the upper left. 8. Navigate to the png file and select it. The game will show a screen as if it's loading a city tile. 9. Be patient and wait for the game to render the entire new region one tile at a time. Don not interrupt or switch away from this until it is completed and the game returns to region view. 10. Your region is done and ready to play! 11. After exiting the game, remember to remove "Mallow's Original 2500m.dat" and replace any Terrain mods in your "Plugins" you may have temporarily removed. Have fun mayors! Hyder, Alaska and Stewart, British Columbia are separated by the Hyder–Stewart Border Crossing. This 4x6 large tile region is to scale at 403 km². Half of this region is still in BC so I guess I'll still count it as the seventh region in my British Columbia series. Hyder is Alaska's easternmost town and describes themselves as the Friendliest Ghost Town in Alaska! Despite being landlocked and only being accessible by road from Stewart, it's a popular tourist destination for those wishing to visit Alaska without driving the length of the Alaska Highway. It's geographically American but runs on almost everything Canadian. Two versions are available to download: The SC4M file requires SC4 Mapper to set up. Powell River on the Sunshine Coast is the fifth region in my British Columbia series. The first region screen preview shown here is the sc4m version with the Appalachian Terrain Mod, the second preview is the same with Cascadia Tree Controller applied, and the last preview is the png/config version with no mods. Harbour Centre is a Canadian skyscraper located in downtown Vancouver, British Columbia. Completed in 1977 it stands at 147 meters (482 ft) tall. Originally designed by WZMH Architects, the building features offices, shops/retail space, a food court, and of course the iconic two-story 360-degree observation deck and revolving restaurant, which is accessed by a separate bank of elevators that face outward toward the City during ascent and descent. Currently, the restaurant is named Top of Vancouver and the Observation deck is named Lookout Vancouver. The O-deck can be accessed by paying a fee in either Canadian dollars, digital Llamas or theoretical internet money. I can't speak to the quality of the food at the restaurant, but I assume you're probably paying more for the view than the meal. I guess if it's really not that good, there's a Fatburger in the food court downstairs... and a readily accessible "wash" room next to that. The version available for download here sits on a 2x5 lot and is available via the Landmarks menu. You can also access it quickly using the "LotPlop" cheat (find "TCC-Harbour Centre"). Nightlights currently not available (maybe sometime in the future, like around 2375). I took some "liberties" with the base, roof and other features of the building that differentiate it somewhat from the real world version. Retail outlets include: · BC Liquor Store · BC Lotto! · Fatburger To use, simply extract the .dat file from the attached .zip into your already overloaded SC4 Plugins directory. Enjoy, buddy... friend... guy! And remember, if something goes wrong, or if there's something else you don't like about this model... Blame Canada! Dependencies (Optional): RDQ HD Prop Pack (Darknight Version) - OPTIONAL Adds trees as shown in pictures. Note: search and download the Maxis Night version at SC4Devotion if you are using default Maxis Night.- 7 Reviews

G'Day Simtropians, Today I am presenting a map requested courtesy of JoeChang,Thanks mate. It is of Gwaii Haanas in the most southern Haida Gwaii off the coast of British Columbia. See me up CLOSE and personal. This is a real world map and is scale and terrain accurate. It was produced with dem and satellite data and is in .SC4M format. One is required to use Wouanagaine's mapper or terraformer to import the map into one's game. It measures 81.92km x 65.536km. A readme is included in the price and it contains links and instructions. I think that's all. Cheers- 7 Comments
