Since Cali is becoming popular on the STEX, I thought no L.A. scene would be complete without its famous lowriders. So I made two animated automata of the iconic 1964 Chevrolet Impala, a red one for the Bloods and a blue one for the Crips. Included are also static props of the cars to use in the LE. Scale is 20% bigger than real life, to blend in with Maxis cars. Feel like cruisin' on LA boulevards? Just select the appropriate bandana in MySim vehicles and go bouncing up and down throughout your UDI. If you enjoy these creations, check out my other files and as usual stay tuned for more coming to the STEX! justforfun -

Here are 4 re-lots of WannGLondon's fantastic LA houses - here they use a prop family for diversity. Obviously you'll need the original houses as the only dependency. 4 landmark lots with neutralized stats for ease of use. They give a really good LA vibe - especially on FA segments! Enjoy them! Thanks Wann!- 1 Review

My take on a California classic - bungalow courts! Tucked behind bougainvillea-draped gates and shaded by swaying palms, LA’s old bungalow courts whisper the stories of a quieter, dreamier time. These charming clusters of stucco cottages, often arranged around a central garden path, feel like little villages within the city—where neighbors once lingered on front porches, and lovers could steal glances beneath jasmine vines. Their vintage details—arched doorways, sun-warmed tiles, and timeworn charm—make every corner feel like a soft sigh of California romance, timeless and hidden just off the boulevard. Beneath the faded charm and sun-bleached paint, many of LA’s old bungalow courts reveal their age in creaking floorboards, cracked stucco, and sagging roofs. Once idyllic, some now sit weathered and weary—overcrowded, poorly maintained, and patched together with decades of quick fixes. Rust-stained sinks, warped window frames, and overgrown courtyards tell the story of beauty left behind, relics of an era slowly unraveling under the weight of time and neglect. Many are at risk of destruction despite preservation efforts. As the city grapples with housing demand and rising land values, many of these early 20th-century complexes face demolition to make way for high-density projects. Places like the Melrose Avenue and Scott Avenue courts, as well as the garden apartments at Crossroads of the World, stand as poignant examples—where rent-stabilized homes are at risk of being replaced by luxury units or small-lot subdivisions. These redevelopments often displace long-term residents and erase the architectural charm and social fabric that once defined these neighborhoods. I tried my best to represent a few real addresses, using stock Maxis low-income residential props. Easy and realistic results! Here are the real locations, in central LA: 2854 Griffin Ave. - 1x3 - R$ 18 residents - growth stage 2 606 W 81st St. - 1x3 R$ 18 residents - growth stage 3 905 W 81st St. - 2x3 - R$ 21 residents - growth stage 2 8125 S Hoover St. - 2x3 - R$ 24 residents - growth stage 3 8040 S N.H. Ave. - 1x2 - R$ 24 residents - growth stage 3 Based on other popular layouts, I've done a few more: Melrose Manor - 2x3 - R$ 24 residents - growth stage 3 Crenshaw Courts - 2x3 - R$ 24 residents - growth stage 2 They all grow on Houston and Euro tilesets - the more dense ones will only grow on medium density but don't need water. The lighter ones should pop up with low density R$. These are great for urban infill and densifying existing corridors. Use with other great quality LA content for added realism! Thanks to these creators for the inspiration. No dependencies - enjoy!- 2 Reviews

Hello wonderful people, Ive never gotten as far west as LA. Been to Vegas! I image the landscape in Southern California is different. Im also guessing its different in the summer than the winter. I was wondering what Terrain Mods people out there would say is the most accurate. I looked through Corie's terrain shoppe and there are so many that are close to what I imagine id say. The one I have now is just too bright green and cartoony looking. For trees im using Girraffe. Although I think that's running on a seasonal mod. Idk Anyway... yeah leave your suggestions on the TERRAIN! We can go into the trees later.

LA has its fair share of chateau-inspired architecture and during a recent outing these style of apartment buildings really inspired me. I have created two versions; one with and one without the rooftop sign (very common here in Los Angeles). - Stage 6 R$$$ - Chicago tileset - 2x3 lots - DarkNite versions only - No dependencies- 6 Reviews

LA River Project This is the complete LA River Project set that includes the channels and ditches developed by me INSTALLATION: This package is a simple .zip file. Just extract the RLM Productions folder to your My Documents/SimCity 4/Plugins directory (or equivalent, if you have a custom Plugins folder location). It is highly recommended to run the cleanitol with the installer and remove any previous versions from your plugins. Optionally in the ~Documents folder in the main ZIP you can find a collective/master and by using either the newer nos.17's SC4 Cleanitol or the older BSC Cleanitol tool you can search and remove old and outdated versions of these files. DLL DEPENDENCIES: In order for the contents of this package to display correctly by taking advantage of the new DLL Mods requires the complete installation of the following dependencies (the below listed dependencies are covering a full install): Submenus DLL - You need it to get the package submenu working. Compatible only with the digital version (1.1.641) of SimCity 4 (Microsoft Windows and Linux only). CREDITS: The following members contributed models, textures, and modding support to this collection: RebaLynnTS This package has been made possible by the Project ZIP efforts of Tyberius06 and Ulisse Wolf.- 2 Reviews

After another viewing of L.A. Confidential, I created a pack of four homes (and a lotted bungalow court) found all over beautiful Los Angeles, California (my home). These sprung up all over the city in the 1920s and there are a plethora of them still around today, also found in neighboring cities. I personally love them and even lotted a bungalow court (another LA favorite style of mine). - Medium wealth, 1x2 lots - Chicago Tileset - All densities - DarkNite versions only- 2 Comments

Former (although I really wish he would return to BATing) member Kodebo sent me the files for his incredible LA City Hall he worked on many years ago which has been sitting on my hard drive. Rather than let it gather electronic dust it would be better served being used by the community. Lotted as a basic Landmark feel feel to lot as you please. I have a few other incoming treats to share over the next few weeks.- 4 Comments

The Clock Tower Building, built between 1929 and 1930 in Art Déco style, is the 4th highest skyscraper in Santa Monica. For around 40 years it held the record for the tallest building in the skyline. The skyscraper was commissioned by the Bay Cities Guaranty and Loan Association to the Californian architects Albert R. Walker (1881–1958) and Percy A. Eisen (1885–1946), whose firm, Walker & Eisen, with a staff of more than 50 draughtsmen, was the most important leading practice in California in the 1920s. Among its many completed projects, the firm had recently designed the extraordinary skyscraper in the Romanesque Revival style known as the Fine Arts Building in Los Angeles (now owned by Sorgente Group of America), one of the most representative buildings in the city. Notice: 1.- The model presented here is an interpretation of the author. The measurements and size may vary from the original. 2.- The models are not exact replicas of the original building. 3.- This is a work of exploration and experimentation that Diego Del Llano wanted to share with the community of Simtropolis. If some of this work does not satisfy you, you have the option of not download this file. 4.-Diego Del Llano appreciates your understanding and wishes you to enjoy this project to the fullest. 5.- Acknowledgements and all the credits to the original authors of this building.- 1 Comment

Union Bank Plaza is an office skyscraper located in the Bunker Hill area of Los Angeles, USA. 4x2 and 4x3 growable and ploppable CO§§ lots. CAM versions included. MaxisNite and DarkNite versions included. DarkNite requires the Day and Nite Modd. Installation Instructions: Download either the DarkNite (DN) or MaxisNite (MN) version. If you're unsure, choose the MN version. If you use the CAM, download the CAMeLots and use them instead of the normal growable lots. Ploppables are unaffected. Unzip the .zip and move its contents to Documents/SimCity4/Plugins. SC4Lot files are descriptively titled. Remove the lot versions which you do not want. Do not remove any .SC4Model files. -

Based off of James Games, part of a little mini mall just outside Los Angeles, an arcade that opened back in 1978 that was recently closed and all the machines sold off. The building and sign have a great late 70's/early 80's look to them. The building would probably be closer to 3 tiles wide but I figured that would be too big for an arcade so I made it a 2x2 lot and removed the other businesses giving it the entire building. I really wanted to add an arcade sound to it, hopefully soon I can update that.- 5 Reviews

Nothing to see here, just another boring little building, this based off a small defunct business based in Los Angeles in the late 80's that was destroyed in a bizarre police chase. Please disperse it as a middle piece on a small wall to wall block to make it fit in ideally. This was actually a corner lot but the building is wedge shaped and getting the dimensions for a 1x2 to fit the lot just didn't look right so I just expanded the front to fit the rest of the building.- 5 Reviews
