Time for another map! This time it's Orlando, Florida, USA. Now you too can build Walt Disney World in SimCity 4! The map is 20 x 20 large city tiles and is accurately scaled based on DEM data. It includes the cities of Orlando, Winter Garden, Sanford, Kissimmee, Lake Apopka and all of the Walt Disney World Resort area. In order to install the map you will need wouanagaine's mapper or terraformer as the file is in SC4M format. I hope you can put this map to good use, enjoy! -TCC View My Full Map Catalogue Here:- 1 Comment

Here are 4 re-lots of WannGLondon's fantastic LA houses - here they use a prop family for diversity. Obviously you'll need the original houses as the only dependency. 4 landmark lots with neutralized stats for ease of use. They give a really good LA vibe - especially on FA segments! Enjoy them! Thanks Wann!- 1 Review

I, myself and I I, as in interstate, myself, as in city names, and I, as in, well, me! For those unfamiliar with my methods, and scratching your heads about what all the ridges and bumps are about, they represent the rough locations of major road arteries and cities throughout the regions. Unfortunately, I can't find any decent maps of railroads, so I kind of play it by ear(or eye) as I go. The 3 biggest challenges in this map will be the Sunshine Bridge(hint, hint creators), Alligator Alley(although a straight road, it splits between 2 regions) and the winding causeway that takes you to Key West. Anyway, enjoy. YOUR LIKES, FOLLOWS AND COMMENTS ARE MUCH APPRECIATED!

Old Orlando City Hall, by Mattb325. --------------------------------------- In my opinion, one of the easiest ways to change the look and feel of a built-up area is by having a large variety of civic buildings: it really does help keep the game fresh and can provide that all important sense of place. Originally posted in the BAT Request thread, this BAT is based on the Old Orlando City Hall. Completed in 1958, it was spectacularly demolished by implosion in 1991. The rights of this implosion were sold to Warner Bros (who used it in Lethal Weapon) for $50,000. This helped offset the demolition costs. This 8-floor building with two asymmetrical balanced lower wings is typical of many mid-century public American buildings. They were solidly built with quality materials: limestone, marble and pink granite. The utilitarian nature of the architecture was given a small amount of grace with recessed windows set behind thickly raised granite window treatments. This decoration was also useful in keeping the hot southern sun from hitting the glass. This building is offered as a non-conditional Town Hall reward. It provides 986 very desirable civic jobs and has all of the benefits (commercial and residential boost) of a town hall. Placing this building should see residential and commercial sky scrapers grow more easily in your city (assuming all other factors are met). For this benefit you will pay $350 per month. This Town Hall is: * Offered as a reward without needing to meet pre-existing conditions. * Located in the REWARD Menu * Can be placed more than once in a city. * It DOES NOT over-write the ingame town hall (or any re-lotted versions there-of), so can be used in conjunction with the standard Maxis town hall reward. * It DOES NOT over-write any of my other town hall lots (so can be used in conjunction with these as well). --------------------------------------- STATS: Lot size : 6x4 Plop Cost: $47,000 Monthly Cost: $350 Budget Item: Government Buildings Occupant Groups: Reward, Courthouse, YIMBY Demand Created: Jobs$: 323, Jobs$$: 452, Jobs$$$: 211. You must select and install only one file - depending on which night version you use. If you are unsure whether you have a night-darkening mod installed, then choose the Maxis night version. If you use the dark nite version, you will need a dark nite mod. Astro Gardens Apartments is a ploppable landmark lot The building is an apartment block with a 50s "Googie"-style flare. The architecture is reminiscent of what you could find in mid-century Miami Beach or Palm Springs. This doesn't have any dependencies! If anyone explicitly wants it, I could make a growable/res version, but personally I like ploppables. Enjoy! -

A small tropical fruit market built in the 1950s. I don't know much about this building except that it used to exist in Miami Beach, FL. I can't find it on Google Maps, but if anyone knows where it is, let me know. EDIT: Thanks very much to spiritualfire for finding the building! This building is based on the lovely illustration by Eizin Suzuki pictured below: -

As if Burmese Pythons in the Everglades were not enough. Florida has more non-native reptiles and amphibians than any other region in the world. Now it can add the Nile Crocodile. http://www.cbc.ca/news/technology/nile-crocodiles-florida-1.3596481

As #Blizzard2016 slams the Eastern US I thought now would be the perfect time to show y'all a little bit of Florida. Warmth and sunshine year-round. The CBD of Winter Coast hugs the Atlantic Ocean. There is beautiful landscaping done with native plants throughout the entire city. What is Florida without palm trees? Sims that call Winter Coast home enjoy a lifestyle that revolves around the outdoors. Ponds, nature trails, beaches and activities such as tennis and soccer are all centrally located. There is an indoor upscale shopping mall and an outdoor outlet mall. Also located right in Downtown is a Floridian staple, Publix. Thanks for viewing! Stay warm East Coast (and stay tuned for more entries!) Love, Colton from Florida.

EN: Because of performance problems that occurred with my map Metropolitan Miami, I hereby provide a 1049x1049px section of this map: Miami Beach. The region of South Florida, where once stood the Miami metropolitan area, was razed by an ambiguous incident cleared the ground. Merely historical maps from 2012 show the once beauty of this region. Nowit's up to you fearless strategist, to make this region back to what it once was ... To confidently face the challenge, you start SimCity 4 and recreate a new region. Now end your game and copy the downloaded config.bmp in the folder of the newly created region. Start SimCity again and then select your new region (Miami Beach). Press Alt+Ctrl+Shift+R on your keyboard and select the downloaded file miamibeach.bmp. After confirming wait states, depending on the processing power for 10-20 minutes. ... The time has come: I wish you much fun and success. I thank you for downloading and I appreciate all kinds of comments. https://www.facebook.com/groups/447720148583197/ DE: Aufgrund von Performance-Problemen, welche mit meiner Map Miami Metropolitan auftraten, stelle ich hiermit einen Ausschnitt,1049x1049, dieser Map bereit: Miami Beach. EN: Awaiting SC5, I reactivated SC4 and rembered that I liked to play the Region Miami, Florida. The offers on simtropolis about this region did not satisfied me, so I created my own one. It contains most of the upstream islands and is scaled realistic. The included config.bmp provides a network of big cities with each one up to six neighbouring cities. The region is nearly flat, and few lakes are missing. The Miami Metropolitan, with 5.5 million inhabitants and the orthogonal/diagonal traffic network is a perfect submission to be played with SC4. This map was created with nokia.maps and the tools MS Paint and ACDsee. I hope you have fun with this, and I'm looking for some kind comments. Important note: detecting a fatal error in V3.2 (scale) , I am offering my V4 of this map. It is now exactly scaled, and I imported lakes of this area, also the Miami River. Pleas notice that V4 is now a big map about 2049x2049px, so you have to cut the miami.metro4.0.bmp to 1025x1025px, if your computer is not ambitioned (note the greyscale when cutting). Hard to say sorry, so I prepared some new pics, picked from the internet. Thanks for the attention. Note: attached files from internet, maybe rights reserved, doesn't matter ;-) Thanks to Shizuku:), Cefien, BIWDC, callofktulu35, StuntManMike for their comments about last versions.... -

Converted from GTA Vice City, this mod brings the VC map to SimCity 4. Included in this region are new added islands, (with the rest of map being slightly different from the original one.) I worked really hard on it, trying to make it look exactly as original, but with new islands. You can either make as many cities as you want in the map or, recreate the whole original city. The region has really big city squares. Islands: The islands included in this region are: Hawaii, (near the 3 islands mentioned just below it, and just in the middle of Vice City) Oahu, Tampa, Crescent, Starfish Island, Ocean View (East Vice City) Donnel Island (West Vice City) Pete and Dete Islands (South Vice City) Portland (Near the Corner of East Vice City) HOW TO INSTALL: First, make a Vice City folder into you C:\Users\(username)\Documents\SimCity 4\Regions folder. If you have Windows XP, then follow this path: (C:\Documents and Settings\(username)\My Documents\SimCity 4\Regions). Then extract all files in this archive into the folder, then launch SimCity 4. In-game press ALT+CTRL+SHIFT+R and it should show a box. Depending on your version of Windows (etc. XP or 7), select the paths that were mentioned above, then go to the Vice City folder, and you should see "terrain.jpg" file. Click OK, and it should be busy generating the map. Note that generating may take some time, maybe a long time. It usually takes about 20-35 minutes, but that does depend on your computer. Enjoy!! -

G'Day Simtropians, Todays map for presentation is courtesy of a request from TheFirstish, thanks mate. Please enjoy this map. Seminole County is situated on the Florida Peninsula northwest of Orlando. A flat region with barely a bump and the highest elevation only 45m. But to keep one's sims on the go there is water, water everywhere, not one tile of the 109 tiles misses even if it is just a muddy puddle. See this map up CLOSE and personal. This real world map measures 53.248km x 32.768km and was produced with dem and satellite data. It makes use of 16bit mapping technology and drunk's map techniques, as such it's in .SC4M format and requires Wouanagaine's mapper or terraformer programs to import it into one's game. It is terrain(not much of it) and scale accurate and very watery. Links are provided to all sorts of things and instructions as well in the file named readme. That's all I think. Cheers- 8 Comments

G'Day Simtropians, Today's map for show and tell, I offered to make for SirRaunaldi, who was having some difficulty. Thanks for taking up my offer, Raunaldi. I have not included all the lakes so one can add some with god mode. The barrier islands are complete and offer some diversity as the map is... well flat. Raunaldi was telling me average height above sea level is a mere thirteen feet. Makes for wet tootsies I should think. See this map up CLOSE and personal. This a small map at 28.672km x 28.672km. It's terrain and scale accurate and in .SC4M format. As such it requires Wouanagaine's mapper or terraformer to import it into one's game. Links and instructions are in the readme.
