This is a set of 40 flags rendered in HD. 38 of the flags are of automobile manufacturers and the other 2 are large flags of the United States of America and of Canada, typical of the flags flown at auto dealerships throughout North America. They are intended to be used as props, perfect for auto dealers, corporate headquarters, or racetracks. A 10x1 ploppable lot (as pictured) is also included, which can be found in the Parks menu. This pack will be a dependency for some of my future uploads. Tell everyone in your house not to pick up the phone or make any calls for a while, its time to fire up that 14.4, 28.8, 33.6... or if you're really on the cutting edge of technology and rich enough to afford one... 56k modem! Beep... hssss.... krrrrrr.... chhhhhh... Welcome to the 1990s and early 2000s with this set of 20 flags of various tech companies and stores of the "dotcom" era. Included in the pack is a 5x1 ploppable lot (as pictured), which can be found in the Parks menu. The flags can also be used as props individually and you can add them to your lots as you see fit by using PIM-X or, for the true early 2000s vintage experience, Lot Editor (LE). This is a set of 30 different flags rendered in HD. They are intended to be used as props and you can add them to your lots by using Lot Editor (LE) or PIM-X. Welcome to TCC's Custom Cities where I'll be posting my custom-built creations based (mostly) on real world cities, but with slight differences. Most of the images will be in-progress screenshots so that you can follow along as places get developed. I intend to show not only cities but also buildings throughout the world and in no particular order. Once some of these creations get to a certain level of completion, I may decide to turn them into full CJs to explore them further. At times, I may also write up more detailed explanations of what I am doing or trying to accomplish. Now to answer some questions... Why are these custom cities... you ask? Well, to start, I will be using my own custom built maps, which are available for anyone to download on the STEX. I will also be using custom built BATs to add realism and customized lots that bring the details and essence of each city I create. Before anyone asks, some of the custom-built BATs you will see here are, unfortunately, not available and will not be available for download due to lack of distribution rights. Other custom BATs (those that I have fully created myself or those where I have permission from the creator to distribute) will be made available for download in due time and "as-is/take-it-or-leave-it". Please do not ask for exceptions for those where I do not have distribution rights, no exceptions will be granted. For those that will eventually be made available - please be patient and not ask for updates... they will be made available when/if I can. TCC Grand Hotel is a luxury hotel built in classical Chinese palatial architecture and based on/inspired by the real-world Grand Hotel, 圓山大飯店 located in the Zhongshan District of Taipei, Taiwan (Republic of China). The real-world version was established in May, 1952, with the Main Building being completed in October, 1973. It was designed by Taipei-based architect Yang Cho-Cheng. Each of the hotels floors represents a different Chinese Dynasty. There have been many notable guests who have stayed at the hotel, including Singaporean Prime Minister Lee Kuan Yew, South African President Nelson Mandela, US Presidents Eisenhower, Nixon, Reagan and Clinton, British PM Margaret Thatcher, King Hussein of Jordan and King Bhumibol Adulyadej of Thailand. The hotel also features two air-raid tunnels (which were kept (somewhat) secret from the public until 1995) which lead from the hotel to a nearby park. Today, these tunnels are open for public tours. === STATS === You will find the building on a 9 x 9 lot in your Landmarks Menu. It is a Ploppable CS$$$ Landmark that comes with 600 CS$$$ High Wealth Jobs. The Building costs $88,000 and $50 to bulldoze, but will net you $200 in income per month derived from the local Hotel & Tourist Tax. Pollution Levels = 25 Air (R=5), 40 Water (R=5), 90 Garbage (R=0). TCC Best Western Hotel is a run-of-the-mill, little-to-no frills, slightly outdated, completely average 3-star hotel operating under the Best Western brand. Upon check-in, you get access to a bed (or two), a bathroom complete with averagely clean and standard toilet/sink/shower/soap & shampoo, and a TV with (yes) free HBO. Other than that, there's not much else... Want room service? Forget about it. Just want dinner on the premises period? Nope sorry, no full service restaurant here. But feel free to grab a Snickers Bar at the "Grab N Go" and a bag of peanuts... and be sure to check out the printed brochures advertising the local Llama-inspired tourist traps on the shelf next to the elevator that's been there (untouched) since 1984. You can find this building that's not based on any particular hotel in real life in your Landmarks menu on a very average 2x3 lot (Plop Cost $25,000 but it also nets you $50 / mo in income derived from the local Tourist & Hotel Tax, I guess those brochures are worth something...). Recommended use as an urban/downtown hotel, or a beach or airport hotel. To use, simply extract the contents of the attached .zip into your standard SC4 Plugins directory. The Grand Hyatt Union Square is a full-service hotel located near downtown San Francisco's famous Union Square. It is one of several Hyatt branded hotels in San Francisco. It is centrally located and within walking distance of Union Square's many high-end shops and restaurants, San Francisco's Chinatown, Nob Hill, the Powell Street BART station, and the newly opened Union Square Muni subway station. The real-world version of the building was completed in 1972. The version available for download here sits on a 3x3 lot and is available via the Landmarks menu (Plop Cost $110,000). The bookstore, which sells new and used books, has approximately 1.6 acres (68,000 square feet) of retail space, with nine rooms and 3,500 sections. There is also a coffee shop located within the premises and a Rare Book section. Today, I present to you a new and improved version of Hyderabad, India (హైదరాబాద్, ఇండియా)! Hyderabad (population 7.75 million) is the capital and largest city of the Indian state of Telangana. It is known as an Indian hub of the pharmaceuticals, bio-engineering and information technology (IT) industries. The map is 16 x 16 large city tiles. It is scale accurate and based on DEM data. Some elevation levels were compressed so that lakes around the city show up in-game as game water.
