Opened in 1970, Lalumiere Language Hall is located on the campus of Marquette University of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and serves as the home of the departments of Foreign Languages and Literatures and Social and Cultural Sciences. This building sits on a 3x3 lot and is modded as a college building. Both Darknite and Maxisnite versions are provided. Only one may be used at a time. The Darknite version requires SimFox's Day and Nite Modd. Dependencies: BSC Common Dependencies Pack (specifically CP Vol01) Enjoy! -

Back with another map! This time it's Chicago, Illinois (for SimCity 4). The map includes cities and areas such as: Chicago, IL Naperville, IL Waukegan, IL Kenosha, WI Gary, IN The map is 24 x 32 large city tiles and is accurately scaled based on DEM data. Some elevations in the map were compressed in order to maintain waterways in game. In order to install the map you will need wouanagaine's mapper or terraformer as the file is in SC4M format. Based on one that I stayed at a couple years back in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, this is a fairly nondescript mid-70s hotel and conference center, akin to what you would see in any sizeable American city. This building sits on a 7x3 lot and comes in growable and ploppable CS$$ varieties, both of which provide 728 jobs. Both Darknite and Maxisnite versions are provided, of which only one should be used at a time. The Darknite version requires Simfox's Day and Nite Modd. Dependencies: BSC Common Dependencies Pack (for those of you unfamiliar with project ZIP, I specifically only used the BSC MEGA Props - CP Vol01 component) Special thanks to @Bobelboy for reminding me that I still had this sitting around and had forgotten to upload it. Another week, another map, this time it's the Twin Cities, Minneapolis-St. Paul, Minnesota, U.S.A. (for SimCity 4). It is the capital and largest metropolitan area in the U.S. state of Minnesota, with a population of 3.69 million. The map is 28 x 20 large city tiles and is accurately scaled based on DEM data. Elevations have been compressed so that the region's many lakes are filled with game water. It stretches generally from Lakeville in the south to Oak Grove in the north and from Waconia to the west to areas in Wisconsin east of the Minnesota-Wisconsin border. The map encompasses the entirety of the cities of Minneapolis and St. Paul. In order to install the map you will need wouanagaine's mapper or terraformer as the file is in SC4M format. Lindsay Bros. was founded in 1884 and eventually became one of the largest manufacturers of agricultural implements in the United States. In 1892, the company constructed this factory building in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The building still stands in the city's Walker's Point neighborhood. Originally opened as the Grand Warner Theatre in 1931, the 12-story Art Deco office tower is now home to the Center Theatre Corporation and the Downtown Milwaukee visitor center. Completed in 2012, the Clock Shadow Building is a new mixed-use building in Milwaukee's historic Walker's Point neighborhood. A model in sustainability, the building was constructed on a former brownfield site using salvaged materials and boasts features that are energy and water efficient as well as a vegetated roof. Due to its green features, power and water consumption are half that of a typical Maxis building its size and pollution is reduced as well. G'Day Simtropians, This map I wish to present today is courtesy of a request from Jwbuildings here at Club Simtrop, Thanks mate. It is of Ashland on the shores of Lake Superior, Wisconsin. See me up CLOSE and personal. This is a real world map and was produced with dem and satellite data. It measures 57.344km x 65.536km and utilising 16bit mapping technology it is in .SC4M format. Wouanagaine's mapper or terraformer is required for importation. The map is terrain and scale accurate. A readme has been included containing some links and instructions and a picture.
