The Capitol District of Durham serves as the regional business hub and the center of national political power in Sim Nation. The legislative and judicial seats of government are located here, along with a substantial number of governmental bureaus, agencies, and institutions. The National Promenade Park, along the Kubwa River, serves as the "front yard" of the country and is home to many monuments and museums. Adjacent is the central business district and University of Durham. This concentration of governmental and commercial sites makes the Capitol District the most visited and recognizable area of Greater Durham. Being the center of the city, the Capitol District is also the hub of the regional and national transportation network. Welcome to Columbia, Canaan's capitol city! Located southeast of downtown, the government center is where policy is crafted. Only four buildings house government offices, the majority of the island is home to publicly owned museums and archives. For those wishing to get a more in-depth government experience, the Bentham maze is a good place to visit. Here visitors will get lost, just as if they were working in a government bureaucracy. The central terminal is located to the east of the government center. People travelling to and from Canaan via train embark here. Thanks for visiting!

Hinali's on it's last legs simcity-wise. There's not much else I can do with the tile now that it has prop pox and has been saved over so many times. So here's a few pretties I took of the tile when I was on. I wanted to make the waterfront similar to Manhattan. Gleaming towers right along the shore. Then it gets dreary over at the Capitol building. Dunno why people are enjoying the plazas, being soaked and all. Silly simcity. And then a night time overview of the tile. I turned up the contrast to make it truly look like night. Comparing this city to Follomer's capital, I think I prefer Follomer's more. Oh well, maybe there'll be another city in the future.

Hi guys, I've been on this site a while now, and have been posting some of the things I make around the forums, but had no real way to lump all my contributions together. Also, my old region has bugged, so its time for me to start over again, so I thought I may as well have a city journal to keep all the stuff from my new region in At the time of writing, this is what we have so far: Just finished dialling in my region with terrain and tree controllers. I've decided to go for the ARDEN Seasonal Tree Controller (Inland version) after seeing how pretty it is in the NORO Co-operative. That's all I really have to say right now (thankfully!), so see you next time I post something Cheers Lordyboy
