It is hounorable that you are looking to improve your work (although it has always been more than fine for me). I would agree that brighter, whitish night lights probably are the better choice for commercial buildings. For residential buildings a warmer, darker tone still seems to be right, since people (and Sims) might prefer it more cozy at home.

Well, I can only agree: previews are a lot of fun! They immediately put me in planning mode and I am sure many others feel the same way. Lovely new uploads - thank you for two more gems!

Now how awesome is this? I passed by this building several times on my walks from the city center back home. It caught my eye the first time I saw it (how could it not?) and I took a few photos as inspiration for BATers but never reached out to anyone. And here it is now! The model, the textures, the night scene are spot on. What a pleasant surprise!

What a joy to look at this thread and the progress you have made. Especially since I was in Chicago in March. Looking at your post was like a flashback and I see myself running through the Loop again looking at so many great buildings. It is one of the most fascinating places architecturally. Please continue your wonderful work, it is highly appreciated!

This has always been one of my favourate high-rises although I cannot really say why. Maybe because it is a rather simple architecture, which is quite recognisable despite that. This BAT marked the beginning of a series of BATs from Canary Wharf allowing us to build a whole little quarter in each of our cities ourselves. How much fun this was and still is! Thank you for all the work you have put in this project! The results are fabulous!

"Novice"? "Slowly improving"? What are you talking about? Everything you have shown is extremely, extremely good. I especially like that you have decided to make school buildings. Maybe they look like school buildings in Jakarta (I really do not know), but I would absolutely also drop them in my "European" city - and I think this says a lot about how well this was chosen and made! Looking forward to seeing more progress!

Nice to see so many new projects that will hopefully come to life. I have quite a large area in my CBD dedicated to international-style buildings like these and would be happy to see more of that in game. So I can only encourage you to keep up this nice work.

I have no idea what the second building could be. But it is a joy to look at your naked models. I almost feel like a filthy voyeur ... It is great that you decided to bat the other Michigan Plaza tower too. Looking forward to seeing more progress on all three BATs in the weeks and months to come.

Oh oh oh ... These models look very good! I'm excited. Now concerning the textures: I'm not sure, if either one would be close to the end result. But the first one gives the impression of an empty building because you can look into the windows - and there is nothing there except the floor. But from the photos I saw this would be more accurate for a situtation when the sun is shining directly on the facade. So this would require some kind of solution for the view into the building. Modeling all the furniture might be a bit too much though. The second one might be the more effcient option. But there the different parts of the facade should be more contoured. Maybe the windows should be a bit more reflective?

This building is one of the very few that still can be found at Leipziger Straße, an important east-west connection through Berlin’s city center. The street was once known for its several department stores, shops and office buildings. WMF-Haus was constructed in 1904/05 as an office building with a show room for kitchenware on the ground floor. This version is a mix of the pre-war building (roof and rotunda) and what the building looks like today (façade). A classy art nouveau building, which is a great addition to any wall-to-wall environment in the game. Very well done!

Whether you like baroque churches or not - this is a great piece of architecture. And we even have two pieces of it. So we can start with the new, bright version on which all the dust and dirt of our cities will settle to slowly change the colour of the sandstone and make it darker and darker. But after a while, if our financial advisor has a good day and some money left, we can clean the facades and turn the church into the bright version again. And so forth. Thank you for this incredible work!
