I just installed version 9a of the BSC Common Dependencies Pack over at SC4Evermore, upgrading from version 7 that was in my game. I realized that, although I had version 7, after installing that I had installed a lot of SimGoober's lots downloaded from here. Upon installing v9a of the Common Dependencies Pack, the cleanitol that I ran removed many of the growable Simgoober lots from my game. The Best Buy growables were all removed, for example. There's a ton of these that were removed. I suppose the reason for this is because the models were also datpacked in one file along with the building exemplars, and the only way to remove the model was to remove the builing exemplar as well. But that means that these buildings won't grow in my game at all. And there's no "modern" replacement right now, because they're not on SC4Evermore at this time. Would it be ok for me to temporarily move the files back into my Plugins until these buildings are re-released? I know that there's the occasional problem with SimGoober's buildings sometimes, as I've had to fix some of them myself. But I'd hate to be playing and not have these grow. Any suggestions?

Hello again! So, I downloaded a lot of very cool growable Residential and Commercial (even some Ploppable) mods here in STEX, NAM included of course. And I am enjoying those contents so far and it changed my city a lot from those repetitive Maxis buildings. The type of mods I am downloading is still inclined to realistic building to match those Maxis textures and as much as possible they are growable. I love @mattb's mods and his growable buildings are the best. I also have those growable residential from the HK Asian BAT Team most of it came from @bixel making that medium wealth residential to be taller compared to its Maxis counterparts making it to have a nice medium wealth skyscraper. I also have some few @Diego Del Llano commercial ploppable but I only use it once my city is successfully grown. I am only adding those ploppable commercial if I want to have a specific unique building that will still not hurt my CO$$, CO$$$, CS$$ and CS$$$ and if the demands are high enough to fulfill it since I still need to balance the demand without cheating. One of the biggest downloads I made so far is the SC4D LEX Legacy - BSC Common Dependencies Pack though, I haven't utilized these dependencies too much, it's just there in my plugin. I also have the BSC Texture Pack I believe from Girafe. But I am only using it for tree planting. And @CorinaMarie for the terrain. Lastly, I also encountered a Modular Amusement Park by MAPP which reminds me of that SimCity 2013's Amusement Park that I am playing there which has a nice resemblance. And of course, I downloaded SPAM for the Agriculture industry which is very nice. So, the main question is that what I lack is the Industrial sector. There were a lot of mods here for Industrial. However, it requires a lot of Dependencies. I am always seeing here the content of @Simmer2 they are very nice, but they are very hard to get because of dependencies. There is also this industrial mods from @jestarr but they are also heavy in dependencies. The problem is when I check the contents of the SC4D LEX Legacy - BSC Common Dependencies Pack, there is one group of MegaProp pack that is not included: And this is from @Simmer2 I tried to check this in SC4Evermore but it seems those prop packs from him are not available. There are links here in STEX but I believe those are already closed down or broken. Well, I just wanted to know if those prop pack from him still does exist because if it does, I am seeking help to download those dependencies so that I can download his Industrial mods? . Otherwise, can you suggest some nice Industrial mods without any dependencies at all? I am good whether this is growable or ploppable. To all mods here in STEX, the Industrial sector is the one that I am having a hard time with. Thank you for all of your hardwork!

BSC Common Dependencies -- Issue with some old SG Lots
simster007 posted a topic in SC4 - Custom Content
Some days ago it was time to clean up my plugin folder. Many double items, outdated content etc. I decided to install the BSC Common dependencies V8 from SC4evermore and check all my old BSC dep files if they are part of the cleanitols (manually, the cleanitol doesn't work on my mac) After that some residential lots didn't show the building anymore, I could not even query them. Here one pic as an example, there were some other lots showing the same issue: I could find out that the problematic lots come from SG RLS, no idea from which pack. Same lot with building and query in this pic: I ckecked all SG deps I had removed and it showed up that these lots need this old dep in my plugins to work: BSC BAT Props SG Vol04 This dep should be part of BSC mega prop pack SG Vol1, or am I wrong? Before the clean up both files were in my plugins and their content should be part of the Common dependencies? Has anybody an idea what is going on here? Do I have to keep these outdated dep because they were part of my plugins when the simulation buit these lots?- 3 Replies

Hey all! Just a quick Query about the BSC Essentials pack over on SC4Evermore. I am in the process today of locating missing dependencies with BSCcleanitol. I'm still figuring the software out, with varying success. With updated packs, I have some of the original packs, dating back to 2005/2007. I am always afraid of deleting files, what with my plugins being relatively old. Can I delete the older packs without issue? as well as this, I have the BSC Essentials v.2023 and also the BSC Essentials OG. Do I need both in my root Plugins folder? For Reference:

Hello all, hope you are fine. I installed NAM 47 and it works until i installed the new SC4D_LEX_LEGACY_BSC_Common_Dependcies_Pack_V1.jar from SC4 Devotion. Since this time RRW is showing the standard " grey" railtrack when going a curve etc. and build the new highway i get an red arrow only. NAM is the version from March 24 2023 Is there any conflict known with one of the dependcies and NAM? Or what could solve the problem? Many thx for the time you invest in this wonderful game and im pleased to hear from you soon Regards, Jo

SimGoober lots and install failure on W11
Dystopian Prophet posted a topic in SC4 Bugs & Technical Issues
I had a lot of trouble getting SimGoober's old lots to install, Windows 11 apparently doesn't support the old version used for the installer. I finally tracked down a potential fix, it doesn't tell you anywhere that it's Defender that won't allow a directory to be created. I looked in Virus & Threat Protection > Protection History and had to allow each individual DL through manually. I hope this pans out for others going forward, because there's no indication of the problem. -

I don't know what these things are called, but as you can see those yellow arrows should have disappeared, but no. It happen to my pedestrain wall plugins where they also have these "directional contents" that tells you what side should you put them. After plopping those plops have a big "TOP" word floating.

I don't use CAM and have never used functional airports. But when using BSC functional seaports in an early stage of development they raise the industry demand caps to 100%, so the city tiles are losing their industrial demands as you described it. Maybe that is the same issue. I think that was mentioned in some other topics already, but never been discussed in detail (as far as I noticed). Same was described on a YT Channel in these days (Wibb´s Builds). Don't know if that is a bug or just "normal"? Is there anybody around from the BSC development team who maybe can explain this effect? Just in Case: I´m running the MAC Version of SC, don´t know if that has an effect on the seaport controllers.

I have lately taken an interest in the game since playing it as a kid and constantly failing, I'm trying to install mods just to have a functional game. Unfortunately functional seaports is not an easy mod to install, I downloaded the zip file here and read the readme, installed cleanitol and ran it, but I'm missing the executable file (see pic), it's not in the zipped folder that I downloaded, where should I get it? Thanks for the help in advance!

I'm checking Dependencies to install BSC Functional Seaports 3.1 and I see "Version Mismatch". I've seen it many times now recently for other files as well and I need some help interpreting what it means since I know I've downloaded these d ependencies. What should I do, if anything?

Testing Seaports Potential Conflicts / Ensuring Functionality
hi_density posted a topic in SC4 - Custom Content
Hey all, I have a question about Seaports. I've gone crazy with mods and packs after discovering this whole new world of SC4 through Rob's Red Hot Spot. Anyway, after really loading up on goodies and spending tons of time installing them I have started to finally understand how things work and are organized to a decent extent. Now, here's where the potential problem is... I dowloaded and installed the BSC Functional Seaports at the beginning of my learning curve. I have Peg and BSC Seaports installed and essentially I want to know how I would go about testing my setup. I have all dependencies, I am asking purely about ensuring proper game functionality... -
HI All, I am using BSC parks - like many of you. I see the yellow arrows to align the paths, but sometimes I need to "turn" the piece to get it to line up. Does anyone know how to do this? Thank you, Ryan.

Euro Roads & BSC Rewards - A Couple of Questions From Returning Mayor
mangojuice posted a topic in SimCity 4 General Discussion
Greetings fellow Mayors. I was wondering if someone could point me in the right direction with regards to the following: Any European road texture replacement mods that are compatible with NAM39 (apart from one bundled with NAM) What exactly are "BSC Rewards"? Some of the content I have looked at say they are "BSC Rewards". I have tried searching the forums both here and at SC4D but I can't seem to find an explanation... Many thanks for any assistance offered fellow Mayors. -
Hey everyone! I'm new to modding SC4, though I've been playing off and on since its release. Just coming back now after a long hiatus, and have discovered the wonderful world of mods. I'm trying to install the monstrosity that is BSC Functional Seaports and I am running into a problem with the dependencies, go figure. It seems I need some Pegasus dependencies (even though the forums seem to be saying they're incompatible (?). I have tried to get these dependencies, trusting in the fact that Cleanitol says I need them and don't have them, but all the links to the files seem to be dead. I've included a screenshot of the cleanitol report so you can see the files I need... Does anyone know where I can get them, or can you explain in simple terms whether I actually need them or not? Please try to use small words, my head is spinning from tracking down and installing all those dependencies. Too bad modders here didn't use the Vortex Mod Manager to install all their mods... that thing is simple enough even for me to use! lol... Whoops, one more dependency missing: PEG_CDK--IND_205

Inspired from this Video on Youtube, where "Rob's Red Hot Spot" is recommending and explaining his 8 most important Mods, Tools and Bugfixes for SimCity 4, I installed all his recommendations and also nr. 8, the horrible dependencies hell "Functional Seaport". Yesterday I invest much time to download all the required Props from SC4Devotion and also a few ones here from Simtropolis. Then I used the Cleanitool to check if I had all required multimillion dependencies installed First I checked the normal dependencies (Cleanitol_SDP_3.1---1. GetDependencies.txt) Here it is stated, that the BSCBATProps RT MineCorp Vol01.at would be missing, but this is ok, because this file has been superseeded by BSC MEGA Props RT Vol04 and this Prop is installed. Probably the Cleanitol doesn't know the existence of the new MEGA Prop, so it shows this error. Now the PEG Dependencies (Cleanitol_SDP_3.1---2. GetPegasusDependencies.txt) This was the most difficult part for me, because this Props I had to download from Simtropolis and I had to search in Google, which xyz.dat is in which Prop/Mod/Lot/etc.. here at Simtropolis. But I managed to find nearly all. The third missing one "PEG-CDK3_PropPack_Vehicles_01.dat" is in the PEG CDK3 SUPER PAK, so it's the same like above. The Cleanitool doesn't know the existence of the Super PAK and so it shows the error. The two missing Props "PEG_CSK2_WaterTaxis_RESOURCE.dat and PEG_CSK2_Scows_205.dat" I were not able to find. Are they Legacy Content? I am unsure here with the PEG-Dependencies if I have downloaded and installed too much unnecessary stuff, because it was labeled as missing in the Cleanitool. For example, I had downloaded and installed the "PEG CDK3 SP Pier One", because Cleanitool showed the "PEG_CDK3-SP_Pier-One_RESOURCE.dat" as missing. But I suspect, that the two Super Packs "PEG CDK3 SP SEAPORT SUPER PAK" and "PEG CDK3 SUPER PAK" include all PEG-related Seaport dependencies. Am I right here and I have installed redundant Props just to make Cleanitool happy? Now the PEG Dependencies (Cleanitol_SDP_3.1---3. RemoveConflicts.txt) I think the "not present" message is a good one, right? It means no conflict? Because of the PEG Dependencies I installed "PEG CSK2 Functional Small Port". Cleanitool wanted the "PEG_CSK_SmallPort_RESOURCE.dat", but I installed also the "PEG_3x5_CSK2_Port-Small_SW77_205f.dat" from the package. Does the Cleanitool message that this file is found mean, that there is a conflict and so I should delete the "PEG_3x5_CSK2_Port-Small_SW77_205f.dat"? And now the last one (Cleanitol_SDP_3.1---4. GetTruesageDependencies.txt) Everything here should be fine. But what means "Maxis: not present"? It is stated also in the other three tests. Does it mean that some original Maxis Files are missing? I tried the Seaport for a short time and so far it seems to work, I couldn't see brown boxes anywhere. I know much stuff, but if anyone has experience with the Functional Seaport stuff and can confirm that the left errors in Cleanitool aren't real errors, it would be very nice and helpful :-)

However, today playing appeared these 2 industries with black ground . Is this an error, a conflict or is it just an absent dependency? Can anyone help me solve this?
