About This File

Based on a garden variety early-2000s office building in northeast Minneapolis. If it weren't for the weird circular mechanical housing, you could drive past it a million times and never notice it.

This building sits on a 7x6 lot and comes in growable and ploppable varieties, both of which provide 1250 CO$$ jobs. Additionally, the building's wingnut shape also lent itself to making a fractional angle version. It's not a perfect fit (20 degree angle vs. 18.4 degrees for FAR), but it's pretty darn close. Both versions have different IIDs, so you can use both of them at the same time.

Both Darknite and Maxisnite versions are provided (for both the ortho and the FAR version), of which only one should be used at a time. The Darknite version requires Simfox's Day and Nite Modd.

Dependencies:

SuperSHK MEGA Parking Textures

SHK Parking Pack

BSC Common Dependencies Pack

It's 2001. You're living large. The new 5-series sedan. The McMansion on a cul-de-sac's cul-de-sac. You have a fancy key card to the executive washroom and your company-provided ThinkPad. And your office? In the suburbs of-course. No Downtown riff-raff here. Just coiffed landscaping, ample parking, and bands of windows mixed with travertine paneling housing oversized wood furniture for hulking CRT screens.

It may not be 2001 anymore and we've moved on from dial-up and Windows 98, but IDS2 captures the sentiment well with this suburban office. The texturing and modeling are picture perfect, the modding is appropriate, the lot is suitable for office park environments. Truly an homage to its dot-com era origins. 5/5.

I fell in love with this BAT when I first saw it in your thread a couple of years ago. Wonderfully modeled and textured, the nightlights are - once again - outstanding. The v-shaped parking lot is a real eyecatcher too. Excellent work! Thank you so much!
