Celica City
Hello everyone!!! After the closing of the Fairview Region City Journal, now I present to you brand new CJ! I dedicated this CJ to WRC, the sport that I really gotten into.... This is also means that most of my cities will be named after famous rally cars, and being mayored by the drivers that make the car famous.... Okay, for the very first city, I'll begin with..... Celica City !!! (it's only half the city, sorry ) and, this city named after this... Toyota Celica 1994 WRC and, the city is mayored by Didier Auriol, its own Toyota Celica driver in 1990's.... YAY!!! Okay, back in the city..... Celica is the very first settlement in Rallie Estele Region (yeah, you can see the name, Rallie ), and it's began as the very first big city in the region.... Quit talking let's review and take a look at the city... Residential : Well, Celica City does provide some basic stuff about residential, school, hospitals, and other civilian services, including police, fire station and plumbers.... As you can see below, this city has been grow rapidly, and the races of the apartments began.... Condominium here, apartment there, offices here, so rapid that some buildings just outgrown... I like this area personally, not that tall and not that abstract and scrambled as the North-East area above Just humble,European styled, mid-rise building, for mid-class family that began with just small family and growing business And here's the (not that) unfortunate one... Live right in the airport.... Just, weird how this people can cope with the busy sound from the airports... We'll discuss it later... Industrial : Since, the industrial outbreak hit low point lately, not much improvisation in the factory area, even they're look very small compared to the skyscraper. Let's take a walk to the pioneer area of the industrial era of the city... The Duckhams and Rothmans Roundabout connects 5 Main avenues that cross the cities, less congestion, but quite confusing for truck drivers, since there is restriction to drive through the city... Not much special about this one... only smokes, smokes, and steams... Not a great view for that green building... This is the North Rothmans Industrial area. The government has raise the taxes to prevent more industrial grows, and issues start to appear that these area gonna be replaced for Commercial area. But, who knows? Commercial : Skyscrapers, skyscrapers and skyscrapers.... The Duckhams Building, a cigarette corporation, need more info? The Convention Center, there was a chaos in here earlier, but I can't catch it, and I don't know what causing it... The Tanah Abang Textile Trading Center, not a market, but it's more like stock trading for textile. Its reputation came across India to France, providing world the best quality textiles.... The Pan-Libie Avenue, what causing it special? The park, where an infamous local plumber shot by thief. Does it really necessary? Windington Park, good for lunch break and take a nap. Just beware of children... The Old Tanchito Stadium, it's only used by local school club to play and practice, it's so small though.... Specials!!!! The Celica Fernseherturm! See that TV station? Nah, it's need more reach to another cities, so the mayor decide to built such tower, but not just for TV purpose, but also attracting tourism... There is many hotels in this city, but, Mr.Didier recommend this hotel. It has full treatment to your car too! The only baseball stadium in whole region, and also home for TRD Baseball Club... And of course, the whole city is sponsored by Toyota. Toyota sponsored the baseball club and the city multi purpose stadium.... St. Sainz de Pillar church, provides religious need and many cemeteries around them... O.k now the airport...... It was the very first airport at Rallie Estelle, the Aghine Airport. If it closed, it decreased the city income, but, the pilots worried about safety about the airport, since the building surrounding it..... O.K It's all people!! Thank you for the people who provide me with critics and comment for the previous CJ, so this time, as always, comment and critics are well appreciated... Regards, Roman... -

A Close Up
Apologies for putting this up so late. Yea, lots of work (especially my new plopped region). This one is a close up of the city I posted in "Ushering the Industrial Age" with Dark Night effects. Hope you like it. I tried stitching these two vertical panoramas, but it just didn't work out. There'll be one last city I plan to finish "growing" before I devote my entire SC4 time to the plopped region. (The one with many tunnels and bridges.) - 5

I would like to introduce a well maintained and nicely running multiplayer region, Blue Hope. Thanks to tremendous efforts by Need4Camaro, the multiplayer region is now live and working fine !! He has been putting much effort to make it happen and I feel immense pleasure to let you all know that it definitely is now working ! Here's my first city under progress from the Blue Hope Region, Bangalore. We are in process of finding more players for an amazing experience of mixing up different cultures and ways of playing by multiple players. All are welcome to join us and help make it big success ! Slowly we are adding custom contents and make it a fun place. Watch out for more progress ! Blue Hope Region thread: Blue Hope website : http://bluehopecj.freeforums.org/index.php

A Tour Through Marinko (part 4)
Replies: Entry 12: A Tour through Marinko (part 4) Welcome back for today's leg of the tour, this time visiting the cliffisde village of Nomyto and the religious centre of the state Atsuka. Starting in Nomyto we come across a tiny village of nearly 180 inhabitants nestled on the top of the cliffs. As you can see from the photo's below there isn't a whole lot in the village itself just some houses surrouynded by farmland, though the Nomyto lookout provides a little bit of recreation and draw tot he area. Looking at the overview of the area you can see just how rocky the area is with the island of Farukon (Falcon in Japanese) Rock and several smaller un-named islands jutting out into the sea. Moving on to the much bigger settlement of Atsuka we come across the religious centre of the state. With the states being rather small, most of the churches that already exist are Orthodox Russian ones, with other religious groups meeting in halls or using the orthodox ones. This however isn't the case in Atuska as the towns central location and good ferry links meant that the states first Christian church and Temple for the Asian population has been built. Atsuka temple Christian Church and School Atsuka Orthodox church This combined with a decent amount of healthcare and education has led to Atsuka being quite a well off place with the religious buildings offering a different draw to that of Romanovik and Tonraqa and as such the place has a marina and several nice shops on its waterfront. With the area being in the centre of the state though (coastline wise) it still needs to be provided with supplies and lacking a dock of its own this falls to the tiny dock in the village of Levot shown here, where small ships can drop off and pick up goods from Uskopoit and Sepelostov. Finally for this entry is a overview of the area surrounding Atuska where you can see the village of Levot at the end of the river and the unshown village of Hoyashi at the rivers mouth. Hope you enjoyed part 4 of the tour and that you'll join me next time for part 5 where we near the end of the tour. Cheers James - 14

Atica (Vermillion)
Greetings fellow mayors, today I would like to share with you the unveiling of our new city development, Vermillion. While the city is still young and unfinished, it is already being inhabited by some of the worlds leading engineers and scientists. The first city district within Vermillion is known as Atica. Right now it acts as the sole development of Vermillion, but one day it will serve as a the backbone for a thriving metropolis. Atica (Vermillion) Daytime shot, around 3pm on a beautiful Simolean Saturday Nighttime shot around 2am, there are a few drops of rain in the sky And finally, a sunset pose taken around 9pm, clear skys and night lights. -

What an Industrious town!
Replies: slickbg56: Until it gets wet in which case their horrendous lol. rewright: Cheers, Hardworking maybe, accomplished definitely not. As you've pointed out though, they can definitely grow stuff. pingpong: Thanks, I'm glad your liking the story, I tend to just make it up as I go along. Entry 2: What an Industrious town! Well as the title suggests this entry mainly concerns dirty, polluting, life shortening industrial growth. Fun huh! Anyway here's a look at the demand indicator brought forward to Jimbob by his advisor's. As you can see people apparently want dirty, polluting industry despite its inherent issues. Anyway, ever one to try and appease the growing population (and in his never ending search for a quiet life) mayor Jimbob went ahead with approving zoning for new industrial areas. These, for some unknown reason ended up being built in East Newport and the newly named Cressington, effectively ending the 'which half of Newport is better' argument, and shutting up the increasingly snooty sims in Cressington. Of course none of the industry luckily ended up near him (some might say he planned it this way), so he's not really bothered by all the upset. Shown below you can see the industrial growth in the mentioned areas. What is bothering the mayor though is much closer to his heart. You see, having resigned himself tot he fact that he will never be able to peacefully farm again, he turned some of his farmland over to have a farmers market built on it (you can also see the Newport Church in the right hand side). The pride of the small town, this area quickly became a busy and popular place and went helped pacify the sims angry at having polluting factories built next door to their homes At least up until the point where Jimbob's friend, Roger decided to turn his land into a state fair, therefore getting one up on Jimbob. So, slightly peeved, Jimbob has allowed cheap and dirty industry to be built in the small town of Fairington that surrounds the fair, destroying both the friendship and property value. Anyway that's all for the industrious actions of our dear mayor Jimbob this time. Join us next time as Netonia (hopefully) continues to grow. Oh and here's a year 10 overview to leave you with. Till next time Regional Population: 4556 - 3

As the heading of this entry says, I changed the title and description of this CJ! And I also downloaded a new map to mess around on/with. The new map is by drunkapple. This does not mean I am ending development on the Eaton map but rather leaving it until I get some more inspiration for that map. Right now my focus is on the new map which I have named: The Kingdom of Samsonia Now onto today's entry; I am going to start by showing a picture of the tile before any development; (looking North) Next, I drew out the main highway that will run through the middle of this small city. I plan to make it have approximately 100,000 sims inside the metro area. (looking North) Then, I converted it to RHW-4, added a tunnel through the southern mountains and built a large causeway/viaduct spanning the delta of the Miltern River. (looking North) And a better view of the causeway/viaduct; (looking west) Finally, here is a terminating highway that runs from the west, cutting through some mountains and over some of the delta into a full T-interchange with the N/S highway; (looking west) That concludes this particular entry. Please leave any constructive criticism in the comments and have a good one!

And the Champion Is?
Ok, most of this week both teams had a dead heat with a tie of 149. Also most of this week Team 10 had more points in the second quarter. Until last nights update of scores. Team 9 who was atleast 6 or so points behind, won the game with 16 points in the second half to team 10's 15 points if that's not drama I don't know drama. With that Team 10 had to loss 6 points for the normal score. And now for the "Trophy" Ok now that the 2014 brackets are are over. In Feburary I will be starting the 2015 season stuff including getting ready for the "Selection" process. So if you like the trophy and want to see your cj on the golden backboard if you already have a team number edit your cj use the full editor and then add your team number into the title. This is the only way your cj can be part of the selection process. If you have any other question my staff will be more that happy to help. Why to go Schulmania 2014 Champions!!!! Once again thanks for watching and hope to see you next season. - 6

Moving Forward
Hello everybody! Even though left the sc4 gaming community more than two years ago, I definitely haven't gone latent; through the course of the latest two years, I experienced some of the greatest successes in my life yet, and I am still eager to produce more and more awesome stuff. In late february 2012, my interest in sc4-related stuff gradually dropped, and I completely relocated to deviantart, as a specialist on photomanipulation and digital maps. In july 2013, I finished my greatest project yet; the World - Imperial Decorative, the largest and most detailed world map poster ever drawn. After it got quite a solid popularity(20,000 views in 2 days), I decided to pursue this hobby even more, and make it a foundation of my future career. After I completed multiple designs and translation of all the political maps of the world, I started to work on a wide multitude of new projects, focusing mostly on detail and innovation. In late november 2013, I finished Map of the Internet, project that skyrocketed me to worldwide fame. In late January 2014, the Internet map got to the deviantart spotlight, and subsequently it was featured on vast multitude of international media, including dailymail, the independent, fox news and much, much more. I gave about 15 interviews to the media all around the world during the first week of february, I also started selling prints on zazzle to get some money on the side; I earned about $10 000 on royalties through the first month. Few weeks later, I also created my own website, www.halcyonmaps.com, you can find all my featured work there. I also produced multiple other maps, including the Climate Change map and a bunch of historical posters. After a few weeks, all my posters will be available on amazon.com, amazon.co.uk and all amazon european marketplaces, as high-quality 40-inch wide matte paper prints personally signed by myself. Price of all the prints will be around 37 dollars(46 dollars with expedited intercontinental shipping), large-scale 70-inch wide Imperial Decorative map posters will be available just for 80 dollars including shipping. After sufficient medial and online advertising, I think it could provide me a considerable sum of money every month. Previously released major projects include: -Map of the Internet 1.0(compendium of late-2013 internet) -Map of the Internet 2.0(compendium of march-2014 internet) -Political Map of the World-Imperial Decorative(up-to date, most detailed political map poster out there) -Political Map of the World-Minor(Smaller version of the world map, available in three designs: Decorative, Chancellor, Tanezrouft and Livingstone) -The World-Climate Change(Political Map of the World, showcasing the consequences of the 250 ft sea level rise) -The World-1938(Detailed map showing political situation in January 1938) -The World-1914(Detailed map showing political situation in January 1914) -The World-1875(Detailed map showing political situation in January 1875) Thank you for reading. Uallacháinas, á!
<table border="0" cellspacing="0"><tr><td></td><td><p class='bbc_center'> So I've been doing a complete ground-up rebuild of Mearcgræf, which like everything else I do in SC is taking an eternity. In the meantime, I've got into the favourite passtime of most of the island's residents, and developed the Arthurian Football League System to the point where it has 9 tiers and nearly 1000 club teams involved! The Arthurian Football League (AFG) itself, which represents the top four leagues in the pyramid, now has its 96 teams up for adoption if you're into football, sports in general, or just like abusing the opposition. For those who want to adopt a club, some of the details around their home grounds and history is incomplete, which you're more than welcome to make suggestions about. Not many teams have that level of fan interaction!</p></td></tr></table> Click a crest for more information on each club: <table border="0" cellpadding="0" style="width:812px"><tr><td><table border="0" cellpadding="0" style="width:606px"><tr><td></td></tr><tr><td></td></tr></table></td><td><table border="0" cellpadding="0" style="width:206px"><tr><td></td></tr></table></td></tr></table> <table border="0" cellpadding="0" style="width:807px"><tr><td><table border="0" cellpadding="0" style="width:100px"><tr><td></td></tr><tr><td></td></tr></table></td><td><table border="0" cellpadding="0" style="width:707px"><tr><td></td></tr><tr><td></td></tr><tr><td></td></tr></table></td></tr></table> Click here to see where all the clubs are relative to each other: A few home grounds I've built, to show this isn't just a paper exercise! Your preface to the adventure.
Welcome dear reader or perhaps in the future YouTube video watcher! You've stumbled into the adventures of WingsLTD in SimCity 2013, and my first region that will see the light of day, and possibly the fires of the afterlife. I'm going against the nature of all and creating the journal in Online Multiplayer NON Sandboxed with mods that are pretty helpful that should not alter the gameplay experience too much, but everyone will be able to see how they are turning out live. The Mods: Skyestorme's Drones Galore Regional Freeway Multi Plopper Perfect Road Guides Yep, that's about all mods I'll be using. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- What all dlc/expansions do you have? I have the Digital Deluxe upgrade for the SC& CoT. I hadn't heard about SC2013 until the pre-order bonuses had long but past me by, so sadly I have no arcology launcher to share, but that is OK. We can hopefully have some great adventures in this. What types of cities will you be creating for our viewing pleasure? Well..I'm a man of many tastes..mostly unrefined ones that are simplistic at best, though that will not stop me from attempting to create some of the best cities you may see this year, or perhaps the most mediocre online cities you've ever witnessed. The point will be to have fun, to share my adventure through city creation..destruction, re-creation, and finally the ultimate perfection for my city. I'll have interesting tales about the city, and if I destroy it for a rebuild, you'll probably hear some outlandish reasons on why the city was destroyed, because there's nothing like a very long..absurd tale to tickle our minds. Without further wait, let's get rockin!- Read More

The Next Step
Okay, Welcome Back! Now, I realise that the majority opinion on the last entry is correct, as well hey, majority rules. I did have a vision for that city as being a 'Micro-Metropolis', drawing inspiration from SC 2013's mega towers... But as rightly stated it just wasn't executed correctly and fell short of my standard. Anyway, Past is past and hey I learnt something and hopefully (in some way) you guys got something from it but now I have upped the standard. This next city is still a work in progress, its not even 100 sim years old (My average is around 2000 years). Who here has seen the movie Underworld? The first (and only good) one? Well thats the air I have gone for here. Maze like streets, Dark Art Deco towers and Middle European W2W everywhere. In the future I hope to expand the city into the wooded neutral areas with wood framed buildings representing the start of a move away from a downtown and into more of a 'hasty sprawl' feel. I drew a lot of inspiration from satellite pictures of old European cities which are very dense and have a small urban footprint that hugs a coastline or river. Also in the pipeline for this city is a MMP extensive 'feature' breakwater for the city's port, and more integration of residential buildings, the vacant land adjacent to the city will soon become an airport. Anyway, without further ado, the city so far: Just a quick and nasty overview mosaic; so yeah the empty land is an airport-to-be, the rail line nearby will be polished up too and as you can see the large amount of open ocean can't be good in storms so yeah a breakwater will be added. Some intermediate low wealth flats, to house port labourers and other low wealth sims. The university district on the edge of the CBD Some building and street detail... Close up of the market hall, which links the city and the port together near the historic core The CBD, built away from the historic core to save the old feel of the old city centre, also to avoid the marshy river mouth soil. Street detail of the Historic Core... And just a leaving bonus, the transit map for the data panel, showing the street layout a bit better... Thanks for stopping by! I look forward to any feedback! - 8

Fairview Finale (My Last Ever CJ)
Replies Kisa Atsuko : Thanks for your advice! Sometimes repetition is undeniably weird... 89James89 : Fancy a beer? I'll pay the next round.... infamousjbe : You may not notice it, but I build few underground parking facility.... SimRico : Really? Thanks!!! It has come to an (abrupt) end..... After providing you and promoting about some cities in the Fairview Region, it's time to close the Region, and moving on... In this entry, I'll show you the last ever city I build and show to Simtropolis and, also the last city in Fairview. This is the city of Pacitan, the city that I named after a city in southern East Java. It is only mid-growth city, so not as dense as the city I built before. Approximately 24.000 peoples living in this area and providing more than 20000 commercial jobs and 1000 industrial jobs. This city is the proper city for they who do not like the busy street of Lomonosov, and don't like the quiet and loneliness of suburbs. As normal as the other cities, this city completed with many public facilities. Hospitals, schools, college, parks, police station, fire station, you name it. But, what make Pacitan grateful is this building.... Hard Rock Cafe of Pacitan.... where the youngsters have fun but still responsible to their environment... There is not much to tell anymore about this city, so I'll let you see few pictures in the city.... The Mid-Residential and some Commerce building... The industrial area... Natural Gas Powerplant and few High Tech factories........ The Commerce Avenue... The City Hall, and historical Redwood tree to remember the death of Capt. Suhadi Sadono (the city folk's hero) The Cemetery and Astronomical Telescope facility... Pacitan College and Pacitan Public Swimming Pool.... The Hawkes Roundabout, for commerce areas also acted as bus stop Another look at Residential Area.... The Twin Gerber Rd. roundabouts... The mansion in the middle is Gerbers family house, one of the city founder... The Prasasti Hotel of Pacitan, serve you more than ever.... and, for total randomness, this picture.... that dead man must be a giant, since his body is as huge as car parking lot, and not very proprtional... 15: Miketon's Growth Spurt
Hello again. Miketon had a growth spurt. It was messy, teeny bit gross and icky but just like everyone's horrible adolescent years the city is starting to steadily grow into itself. Quick note, my highways and elevated railways were successful! Obviously, tons of Maxis. Most times its not a bad thing. Buuuut... North. East. South. I love this part more so, just cause of the highway winding up the hillside. West. The city center where the highway T's west, east and south. I love the clustered look to this. The overpasses, the railway. Not showing the trains yet, I forgot I didn't have a skin plugin for it, Maxis ones are fugly. And the city Hospital, currently charging 5,500 patients up the bum for healthcare cause this is a capitalist city. The city tile houses over 83,000 sims as of current. The region is around 97,000 due to the other town Feyre. - 15

Underwater Terraforming
Hopefully I'll be able to satisfy some expectations here in the next few weeks. So I'm in the OSITM over at SC4Devotion this month (April). One of my biggest issues with the map that I've had lately was my frustration with the coastlines. Currently the land drops very close to the water, particularly near the downtown areas where it makes good seawalls look...well like nothing worth looking at. The other problem I've had is that by default the terrain for beaches would go from 250.4 meters (dry ground) straight to the sea floor at 192 meters, which made using any sort of terraforming tool for nicely sloping beaches essentially impossible. They would always drop to quickly, or else just eat away my land mass, which when trying to develop a city other than Atlantis, is not a good thing. I'd been putting off the inevitable for a while now, but figured this month was as good as any to get started on it. 1.Using the sea level adjustment trick I learned from one of Noahclem's tutorials, I've dropped the sea floor down to around 175m. I'll be doing a bunch of work all around my coasts, but for now, here's a few teaser images of some work I've been doing underwater in Mission Bay: 2.Some prep work for some decent beach slopes: 3.Progress is kind of slow, however: 4.And to finish it off, a pair of images, this time from the community of Mission Hills where I'm having some issues getting my Sims to commute to work in the next tile: a. b. Some replies and more progress will come in the next update, hopefully within a week if all goes as planned. Thanks for stopping by. - 4
