After 5 years simexpo is return. In recent months, in my country there is much talk of expo Milan 2015 and then I thought why not organize an exhibition in Sim City. How candide the my city for SIM EXPO 2014?? It is very easy.In fact, for nominate your city you need to send me a message and then you pass me a photo of the city that you have candidate ,with a small description (goes well in any language). In addition to a photo of the city you also need to pass me a description of how you want to organize the exhibition and a photo of the site that will host the Sim EXPO 2014.If your request goes well you will be notified ,otherwise, it will be for an other time! ;-). How do you decided the winning city? the decision of the winning city will be through a popular vote, which will last three days ie 72:00 hours. Everyone will vote and in based on the number of participants we will decide whether to split the vote in groups. Attend to EXPO The participation at EXPO 2014 will be even more exciting! After identifying of the winning city , will be given a time of 5 days in which all the countries concerned can send their request to participate in Sim EXPO 2014. Every week will be made at least 3 articles in which it is called a pavilion and what it exposes. In fact, every country can expose something of special! Sim EXPO is a moment where you can raise awareness of your country in all its beauty. Expose your Sim Country! ;-)
  3. Howdy Simtropolians, Karang Anyer International Airport also known as KAIA (IATA: KAY ICAO: WOKA) is an international airport in Karang Anyer, East Logawa. The airport serves Sukapadi city, capital of East Logawa. This airport has one runway with length of 3200 m named Runway 90/27. To access the airport, there's 24 hours taxi services, shuttle bus, and a railway service. The airport finished in 1948 as Karang Anyer Airfield that used by Indonesian Air Force. In 1980, the airport reopened to public by the construction of Passenger terminal. Later the expansion of Terminal Wing I and II finished in 2002 to accommodate more jet bridges. The runway extended to accommodate wide body aircraft such as A340, B777 and B747. Now, the airport can serve 3 million passenger per annum and a landing/take-off every 15 minutes. WHERE THIS CJ TAKE PLACE? THE CJ An Intergrated parking space can hold up to 900 cars. To enter the airport there's an underground tunnel that connect the parking area directly to Passenger Terminal. This is not an ordinary parking tower, inside the tower you can find a car wash, mechanics, shops, restaurants, etc. If you use a overnight parking service, your car will be clean and nice when you arrive again. To access the airport by private car, you can use Sukapadi-Rawa Anyer Toll Road segment. Or, you can use the main artery but that needs more time! Airport rail service also available in Rawa Anyer International, train departure from Sukapadi city every 30 minutes started from 3 AM till 11 PM. Korean Air KE827 from Seoul to Jakarta is taking off from Rawa Anyer International Airport! Overall airport picture. See you in the next CJ!
  4. TekindusT: Thank you! MilitantRadical: Yep, I've spent three years building, demolishing, rebuilding, fixing, altering and improving Celeste. It's taken a long time to, I think, almost complete that tile. Mr Saturn64: Thank you! Lord Branham: Thanks! I'm glad you liked it. Huston: Thank you, that means so much. I never intended for these cities to have that green style, it just sort of happened. I wish you the best of luck with ME:TMW, and it's good you enjoy making it so much! Prophet42: Thanks! The diagonal lots that have been produced by JENX and Xannepan, I believe, are excellent. This week, we're heading north to Calora, Cattala's second-largest city. We'll be visiting three parts of the city - the historic quarter, the commuter town of Iralli and the suburb of Cydonia. I hope you like it. First up, the Royal Estate in Old Calora. Historically home to House Aroe of Fieranti, who reigned as Princes until 1532 and Lords of Calora until the 19th century, it became the home of the Governor under British rule and later the President of Cattala under Italian rule. It was restored to Crown rule in 1950 and is now the home of the Duke of Fieranti, currently the husband of Queen Alexandra, Duke Luciano. Cydonia is a prominent suburb of Calora, and forms part of the city's industrial belt with a number of high-tech companies operating out of the town. It benefits from direct rail access to Calora's CBD, the Harbour, Celeste and also has strong road connections with the city's main airport and the capital by the M2 motorway. Now for a night shot of Cydonia, showing the prominence of the railway divide between the two distinct sections of the suburb. A rare sight in my actual journal - a view of Iralli, under construction. Whilst I was doing some work on the city at the weekend I decided to show you a work-in-progress shot detailing what happens when you have R$$ demand in a city where your lots are almost all R$. This night shot, taken during autumn, shows some of the expansion work I have done to the east of the city (south in this image). Note the classical styled building in the bottom, near what looks like a military checkpoint... And a mosaic of the Cattala Observatory, home to the country's most prominent astrologists and space researchers, it forms part of a park in the east of the city that is known as Classical Park, based on its neo-classical architecture. The memorial to the south of the observatory is the town's war memorial, whilst the park further down is home to a chapel and a cafe. Here is a larger view of the suburb, which lies to the east further along the M2 motorway from Cydonia. And to end today, a mysterious building, buried deep in the forests of Iralli... The ISC Building, home to the Intelligence Service of Cattala, a seemingly small facility at first glance... Reportedly, also home to one of the top-secret Military Communications Service (MCS) operational outposts as well. I hope they don't find this picture... Comment, rate and let me know what you think! Thomas
  5. BENTONVILLE Welcome to Bentonville, a city partly inspired by Chicago's amazing skyline with its bustling mass transit system. You will see a significant difference between the urban planning of Drake Islands and Runzwerlund (Soon to come) (Oops forgot to disable the UDI icons! Doh!) The city of Bentonville is a coastal city located in the middle of Drake Islands. It soon grew to be a major financial center with the hosting of the 1973 World Financial Conference. Below is a historically significant picture of the Executive Team of the Conference: (Credits: Google and all Meme related websites) The city made it mandatory that coastal properties be primarily composed of private Residential properties to allow its citizens unlimited access to the beautiful coastline. More to come for Bentonville!

Stirlingrad was talked about in an almost mythical state, a glorious city of over 8 million with the highest standard of living known imaginable to man, but something terrible happened, without warning the 8 million inhabitants and the city of Stirlingrad were wiped out in an instant (In real life my computer crashed and died taking my city of Stirlingrad and two years of city building with it) The small handful of survivors who escaped the apocalyptic doomsday of their homeland fleed across landmass and ocean and dark voids of nothingness until arriving in sight of the "New World" (Sim city 4 being re-installed on my new lap top and starting again from scratch) On an area roughly covering 32km by 32km and on numerous islands and geographical features, river's, forests, dead volcano's and steppes, the survivors of the Stirlingrad Apocalypse land at 11 locations around the landmass which they call "Cameronia" in reverence to a deceased historic leader of the old city who ruled Stirlingrad basically as a dictator for 45 years. The "Skalin Saviour" vessel carrying 2,560 refugee's is the first to set sight on the new world. The Skalin Saviour was a large ship captained by John Skalin, a hard iron man of around 50 years of age, He is also in charge of another refugee ship carrying 1,800 souls. The two ship's quickly sail down the coastline of the landmass eventually sailing around what would later become "Skalin Island" named after its "Heroic Founder" (By this stage the Captain was already creating a power base and following and enforcing loyalty, obedience and discipline. East Skalin Island is designated by the Captain to be a rural, agricultural zone that will supply settlements with food in the central part of Skalin Island East Skalin island where the Captain intends to set up his main settlement, The Jeoni River is to the north, named after captain Anna Jeoni of the other ship under Skalin's command Meanwhile a refugee ship carrying 5,600 passengers under the command of captain Enrico Capria land in a collection of islands which they name the "Stirlzburg Islands" and quickly state their intention to establish "Port Stirlzburg" (These islands are the proposed site of Port Stirlzburg) Captain Breshov, a dithery old man in his early 70's quickly settled his refugee passengers on the shores of the quickly named Breshov island with himself as "Transitional guide" over the inhabitants of the island (Breshov's passengers establish a settlement on the northern coast of Cameronia), some others continue on an arduous trek into the highland interior of the Cameronian landmass) The "Tail Coast" is settled by multiple refugee ships who state their intention to establishment a new society and a new democracy (Meanwhile Captain Vinjenzo lead's his refugee's to this island which he claims as his own and names after himself much like his much larger neighbor to the north, Skalin Island) (This complex network of waterways and river canal's are not believed to have been formed naturally and are possably the work of some mass project by some long lost civilization, either way it proves to be a fertile and stunning peice of land, the bulk of the refugee flotilla currently anchor in the many water ways as life rafts transport the refugee's onto the beaches to establish new settlements) The large eastern landmass is quickly claimed by the "Ideological and revolutionary agitators" that managed to escape the Stirlingrad apocalypse. They have been quick to establish settlement communes and patrol militia's to scout out the land (After a few days trek, refugee's begin to settle on the steppe's of the central highlands, the great "Mountain Wall" can be seen to the east) Captain Vacharo lead's the last wave of refugee settler's and claims the central island landmass which he also names after himself like his other neighbors. Although unlike him he is no where near as dictatorial and is still described as "Somewhat democratic minded", it was clear however that Cameronia would be developing in different directions. As settlements began to establish themselves the immediate priority was the establishment of food production and end the reliance on the dwindling supplies of emergency rations that were brought on the long and arduous journey to escape the Stirlingrad Apocalypse..... 7. So hi again, its me david whit a tease of my new city, im in other pc so I dont have pics, but i can tell yo that I put some buildings from porkisimo ( i dont know if i writte it well xD) and other old buildings from europe, a bus terminal and sub, farms and train connecting to a next city called future city, that i created before so i dont tell you to much of it, but its quite big, closer to 200k sims and a lot of industry that will satisfy the job demand, and will take the smog away fron bernn. Something about me that i dont tell you: so this is my first cj, and im new in ST so i forget to introduce me. Im from Colombia (that's why my english its so derp) i start to play sc4 the last year, but whit some tutorials i improved my skills in this game, but if you have some recommendations to me i will recive it.
  8. Today I decided I will not continue building this city, just because I don't enjoy playing it as much as I would like. But no fear! I will continue posting in here, only then in the name of another town. I'm going for the natural growth. I will still build it in an american style, so I atleast don't have to build a new plugin folder... The first update might take some days, but it will happen soon

Hello everyone! It has been a long time since my last update on this CJ. I've been quite busy with school and other stuff (got some problems at home). Anyway, I have been playing SC4, so here are a few pictures of what I made the past months. I hope you'll enjoy! The city you see here is Moncada, the capital of the country. It was founded by Spanish Conquistadores in 1519, near the ruins of the former capital of the native inhabitants of the country. During the Colonial Era the city has been under foreign occupation for multiple times, mostly by the British. Today it is well known as a tourist destination, with lots of different cultures, history and its sunny coastline. ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||| Until next time!

Only two pics to show how time flies. The thing you have to know is that my cites are almost 100% growable. I plop only civics and some diagonals. The other buildings are growing pretty much on their own. That's the coolest thing about the game and it makes city a real organism that pulsate and breathe. It's not perfect but it feels like it's my own real city. Several simyears later: . . . . . Domino Square is now one of the most favourite places in the city. Blue skyscraper on the right is the first skyscraper ever build in the city. It belongs to National Insurance Company.

I know a lot of people don't like cities built to cram in as many people as possible, but I've spent 2+ years filling (currently) 97 large city tiles, but it amazes me that every one ends up completely different despite that I almost always only use euro style Maxis buildings (and occasionally a few plops for diversity). So here is AstonVille (original huh). 97 cities allowing 48 million people (more people than there are in Canada) to live in cities with 3 times the population density of Hong Kong. My largest city Londoninium has a population of 1,051,355 people and.. it's hideous. Most of my cities have between 250k and 500k which allows for some more suburban areas and people not having to live overhanging motorways and factories. My version of 'surburban living': Prime apartments overlooking untouched natural grassland, with great connections to Downtown. Personally the best thing to do in SimCity is cram as many people as possible into a city, then try and fix/improve the problems that comes with it (mostly traffic but also open space, healthcare, education, poverty, etc) Hope you'll enjoy my journal as I show you some of my experiences with highly populated cities. No mods or cheats and few plopped buildings just natural growth.. (I think..)

Brooksville Region View from this entry date. Welcome to North Brooksville, the old part of the city where all the government buildings are located at. Also, where we begin the adventure of Brooksville! Welcome to the city hall! It was built in the early 1900s and is identical to the one in our sister city, New York City. This is where you go to tell us of any protesting, proposals for structures, or just to get me in case of emergencies! Though, not important the North Brooks Golf & Spa is where the middle & upper class go for relaxation from the city life, It's the only one of these in the region so it's heavily popular with the city and other people from Jackson County. May not be the city's tallest, but the 23 Park Avenue Condos is the tallest building in North Brooksville. To wrap up the entry, is the 2 bridges to the CBD/Downtown where our next entry awaits.

As for the futuristic shiz, this is based off the game series Fallout so, the the technological advance of humanity was stagnated. REPUBLIC OF NEW CALIFORNIA _____________________________________________________________________________________ In the Great War, the City of Thousand Oaks was obliterated by the bombs that struck nearby Los Angeles (present-day Las Palamas). It has a relatively small population now, around 5,000 residents. It's citizens consist of dwellers of vaults 221, 2, and 14. In 2576, Capital County absorbed the town. This is the cities mall. In the town of New Thousand Oaks, there are two neighborhoods: Brookhaven and Longsville. This, is the parks section of the Brookhaven community. It is one of the more affluent neighborhoods of Capital County. This is the Longsville Neighborhood. It is a mix of middle-class and upper-class households.
