Our ship has landed!
simcity1999 commented on simcity1999's City Journal Entry in (SC4) Tanjung Tembaga
A bit of spoiler: the area is quite hilly. -
Poll has ended! The result is: Option 1: 1 vote ; Option 2: 3 votes ; Option 3: 4 votes ; Option 4: 4 votes; Option 5: 2 votes. There is a tie between option 3 and 4, but due to the two comments that supports number 4, we decided to land on Option 4 which is the area with the natural breakwater. In the next update, we will built our settlement. Again, thank you for voting, and keep on watch for the future updates
-
But I still remember the old votes, so don't be mad if the result is different from above. Again sorry for the inconvinience.

Hooray!!! Finally after 3 weeks of sea voyage we see an land!!! But the problem is that, we see from the distance some landing points possible, and we cannot figure which point to land our ship in. Possible options: Please help us finding the best spot to land our ship by voting above. Poll has ended at 14/11, 20:00 GMT+7 (Jakarta/Bangkok/Hanoi) (13:00 GMT) Thank you for voting. (Note to previous voters: due to an editing error, please revote again. Sorry for that.)

Welcome to Simtropolis, everyone! @Tax: your decision to not move to newer sc4 titles is totally correct! Sc4 is the best city building game that have exer existed in this world (and in the universe). All newer titles are a bit more than an overpriced junk of crap.

Mass Transportation Speeds (NAM) and Quick Hubs Question
simcity1999 replied to estevesbk's topic in NAM & Transit Networks
That's why I never consider tiles "city", by itself, but I consider tiles as a district of a metropolitan area/county/prefecture/regency/province/etc. -
That's very possible to build in this modern world. Much more possible and feasible than a 4KM supertall.

I really love this map bluemoose! Great choice of colours and very minimalist but informative style of map. To bluemoose: Can you please send me your picture of the S Bahn map to me via Private message on any image hosting system other than Imgur, because imgur is blocked here.

I cannot see the pictures, I think because it's on Imgur, which is currently banned here

3764 Here, in Indonesia, especially outside of Jakarta, you can see drivers speeding up to 200 kph on a 80kph speed limit toll road. Very few of them have been caught by the police, AFAIK. However driving in Jakarta is a nightmare. Even on toll roads (where minimum speed limit is usually 60 kph), it's difficult to even pass that minimum limit, especially on rush hours. I'm not living in Jakarta, though, but I very frequently visit Jakarta and "enjoy" its traffic.

Banned because you lived in a country that is largely underwater (i mean, under water surface).

I strongly believe alien abductors doesn't exist, and other than crashing at the sea, the only possibility is being hijacked by terrorists and landed somewhere else or crashed.
-
Hopefully, the plane landed somewhere in a remote area, so the people are still alive.
