[b]grstudios:[/b] Its an adaptation of Old English, which seems to be more related to German the modern English, so that might be it.
[b]Benedict:[/b] Ealdwych is probably in the best part of the country, weather-wise. Not too many other places you'd have much use for a beach!
[b]hammysonata:[/b] It's just that the baseball stadia happen to be downtown. Last update showed a football stadium, and there are other sports facilities further out in the 'burbs. The whole country is pretty much mad on sports.
