  1. NAM: Requests - 2nd Edition

Thanks for pointing that out. Also, for people who want to see one of these crossings in operation, there's a good video by MPTG showing the one at Glenhuntly in action.

Thread bump! I wonder if it's possible to make a tram-on-road or tram-on-avenue puzzle pieces that can be used to create at-grade rail crossing with trams crossing too? In Melbourne we currently have three of these crossings (a fourth one used to exist until they trenched the line below the road earlier this year...) If you don't know what I mean, here's what I'm talking about: Riverside Road, Camberwell (Note the hinged gates? All tramsquare crossings have this so they don't hit overhead wires: https://www.google.com.au/maps/@-37.8328373,145.0696329,3a,75y,287.11h,88.86t/data=!3m6!1e1!3m4!1s2aF84lTIevn4jujIXcmffQ!2e0!7i13312!8i6656 Glenferrie Road, Kooyong (Includes a train going through it, turning around 180 degrees will reveal Z1 tram No.69, No. 69 was one of the 30 Z1 trams (along with 3 Z2 trams) to still remain in service after 2006 as the rest were replaced with newer C & D-class trams, when the E-class trams starting entering service, the remaining Z1 & Z2 trams were removed from service with the last of them being withdrawn on the 23rd of April, 2016. No. 69 scrapped last year after being withdrawn from service): https://www.google.com.au/maps/@-37.8393658,145.0323278,3a,19.7y,182.8h,93.89t/data=!3m6!1e1!3m4!1sHazJXb1P4pKZYDaXBBOmMA!2e0!7i13312!8i6656 Glen Huntly Road, Glenhuntly: (three track crossing): https://www.google.com.au/maps/@-37.8893819,145.0418309,3a,22.3y,96.68h,93.9t/data=!3m6!1e1!3m4!1sFbghn0iB6MxLU2xNLmXJ4Q!2e0!7i13312!8i6656 Burke Road, Glen Iris (Crossing eliminated in January 2016, note the small gates for trams): https://www.google.com.au/maps/@-37.8538918,145.0526375,3a,53.3y,352.96h,92.3t/data=!3m6!1e1!3m4!1sgKVX1qyy5Jf5lxGMk9CTYA!2e0!7i13312!8i6656

Copy + Paste from Wikipedia's page of Willison railway station: "The station was built to serve the Riversdale Golf Club, which was originally adjacent to the site. It has been said that influential members of the club did not appreciate having to walk to either Riversdale or Hartwell stations, and pressed for a closer alternative. This may explain why Willison was built so close to Riversdale station, being only 400 metres away."
  4. Show us your Railroads!

In Melbourne, there's two commutator train stations named Riverside and Willison within 400 meters/437.445 yards of each other. Have a look in Google Maps... https://www.google.com.au/maps/@-37.8332243,145.0699193,16.62z

  9. WMRT Trains

Great Job! The Comeng Trains have been my favorite type of Melbourne's Electric Trains since the Hitachi's were retired in 2014.
  10. Can't find it?... Ask here!

Also, where can you find the El-Rail train along with that big oval thing that looks like a bus stop?
  11. Entry 36 : Transitways Pt 1 : LRT (5E136)

A few close ups of Bakerville. Train using the bridge over the shore to Warrentype. Rail Crossing on a recently widened road. Another train. Another rail crossing (Without barriers). Crossing has since been upgraded with barriers added. No comment. One of the many train stations in Bakerville.
