1949- MHA beginnings
Welcome back to Melbourne, We see how much the city has expanded since we last saw the city. Beautiful isn't it? Join me shall you to the city in the late 1940s, as we close the early 20th century of the city. First off, Storyville has changed a lot. As from this view, we can see how much it has grown, and also most of the adult places have closed down due to the city is attempting to reshape Storyville, into a nicer neighborhood, but its failing quickly. Here's a example on how they are reshaping Storyville. The Mechanicville Public Housing Projects. Under management by the newly government established, "Melbourne Housing Authority" or simply known as, the MHA. Another close up to the projects, They cover 2 large zones of the city, that was once old houses of Storyville. Thats it for this mini-update of Melbourne, and the beginning of Low-Incoming Housing Projects. See you guys in 1954! - 7

Rain, Rain, Rain in the City
Replies @jmsepe: That is Marrast's train station, I believe @konstantinll: Thanks! @Huston: Thanks! @basty_goofy: Problem with that is, is that even at 15m it needs a lot of space for a transition like that-space I don't have in this area @Schulmanator: Thanks! @Neto Dari: Thanks! @vinlabsc3k: As I said above... @Ln X: I'm going to a 4-year school outside my hometown(Not revealing exactly where for personal security). Also another reason I didn't mention why this will be retired is because I've gotten kinda tired of SC4 and have been playing SC 2013 more often... @sejr99999: Nope, those are all the originals... @Schriefer: Thanks! @Vitor13: Thanks! For this short update, we'll be looking at Madisonville in the middle of a storm. Expect a lot of rain! Traffic crosses the Oceanside Parkway Bridge over the Cannet River where it meets Paridise Bay In downtown, a light rail train and PIRail train cross over each other. Note the new train skin that i downloaded.... Up in the foothills, the dam which supplies electricity to the city is quiet while the rain falls around it... Hope you enjoyed this update, and see you next time! - 94

Wessex Bend
Welcome to Wessex Bend! This is my very first city in SimCity 2013. I hope you like it. Some high density development along Market Street A night shot Some midrise residences A closer look A wide shot of the city I didn't like how my streets were laid out so I did some redesigning. Here's a new look at Market Street. I need to rezone for the high rises to redevelop. And finally a shot of City Hall in the rain I hope you guys like it. I'm still new to SimCity 2013 so I'm still getting used to it. Leave comments and suggestions. Also, let me know of any good mods I may be missing. Thanks (: -

Part. 2 - The Struggle
"Risma, Open the door!!!"
"Sorry mum, i have some trouble here."
"Get out or i'll call your father! This is your first day in this city!"
"Grmmph..."
'C'mon!"
"Okay, okay. I'm out..."

First Day
June 1st, 2027
First day in this town. The morning is boring for me. Not like my usual that i always gettin' cool when visit n' shelter in new city. Guess what? I ai'nt like the Shipping live. But, i must do something for my mum. deliver some food for my Uncle... My uncle works at the Shipping Blocks (That's all i knew) near the HQ. But i ain't know where is it. so, my brother, Nathaniel, Take's me there.
I don't know how this Island look's like. Cus' when we come here, I fell asleep. I'm so dizzy when inside the ship. (The other's have Jetlag, so i have Shiplag... ) And the ship's came in night. so i can't see everything. But when i see the Solar Panel's, It's so damn cool. They have two Solar Panel, One Plasma Gasification Plant, And a pack of Water Cleaning System! How awesome. I never saw this thing ever. If so, i just see one of them. Here, They come in bundle. Very Green. I passed two Religion Site. A Musholla (Tiny Mosque) and a church. But They're near... Nathaniel said the people in this town is havin' a great Tolerance. When last week the storm brokin' out the Church, Muslim people help the Christian build it again. And last month when a Container Truck crash and broke the Pillar of Musholla, The Christians help the muslim to renovate it! I hope the people in my country like so.
At last, finally. I have passed the HQ. So that mean, the Shipping Center is near. The Industrial building was so few, i guess. The town built Last two year ago. Nathaniel said the Investor not so interested. I'm not surprised. I know one city that have a same trouble. But they're struggle become a success.
I'm ridin' through the Road and Container. That mean i has arrived in the Shipping Center. The Daily Shipping is few. But it'll change when the night come. Nathaniel Said. Finally. The Shipping Center. It's busy with the Shipping Blocks. And the gas, Make me want to puke. I can't stand the smell. A rotten rice was worst, but this is more worst. (What's the corelation? )
The mission complete, but Nathaniel still not look tired. He take me to the Branden O. Weill Bridge. He said the Seas look's cool at noon. I Passed the Pier Seaport. It look's cool from out here. The Branden O. Weill Bridge Look's stand-still. (It's new. -_- ) But look's really good. It has few traffic. In fact, ther's nothing passed the bridg. It's just a preparation for the new Residential Program.
"Well, bro. Time to go home..." "Yeah."
"Hey, do you like gaming?" "It's my life bru. But why are you asking?" "I have an Xbox in home. And your nephew send me some new Game when you came in this town..." "Really? Can we try it?" "You look so interesting, by the way..." "Haha... Don't try to kidding me. " "Okay, let's gettin' cool!"

New Philadelphia Will Return!
New Philadelphia Will Return! Hi everyone! Sorry for the hiatus. School has been crazy but now I'm finished with classes for the summer so I can now focus on SimCity. Going forward I'll be posting updates that are simply photos of my work. I'll not try to write up any storyline anymore. A new graphic identity will come along with the new updates. Also, now that offline mode has become available I finally installed SimCity 2013. I have a new journal for that here. I look forward to getting back into SimCity. See you later! - 9

1.7 Andrew
Replies Hi, MilitantRadical. Thanks - it is a little bit harder to match the scenes here compared to SC4 - I don't always have the best control of the camera . Hi, TekindusT. Nothing like moving the story along... this is no Ellis Valley . Hi, Schulmanator. You'll find out in future episodes. Hi, Huston. It will be interesting to see how Kate handles her future. Hi, dentonfire. Unfortunate indeed. Hi, rewright. Definitely, although it remains to be seen which direction her luck will trend. And now, more from.... "C'mon, Andrew, come out on the town with us!" "Nah, I'm broke, plus I want to get a good night's sleep before tomorrow's interview." "We'll have you home in plenty of time for sleep, and we have a group pass for the Skyclops!!" "Really? You read the fine print this time?" "Honest. This is legit." "OK, I'm in." "Hurry up, it's getting dark soon and the twister will be opening." "I'll be down in a minute." Half an hour later... "Wow, that thing is amazing." "Yeah! Look at those lights... looks like you can touch the sky..." "Oh, you'll ride the sky alright..." "Yeeeaaaaahhhhhh!!!!!!!!!" His stomach churning, thrown high in the night sky by the 'clops, even higher on adrenaline, Andrew catches a glimpse of a stunning young woman on the ride. Everything seems to stop... then suddenly they're crashing back down onto the track. The ride is over. But Andrew's spirits are still sky high as he looks for her in the crowd exiting the crown. - 7

Game Crashed !
It is my sad duty to tell you that I will no longer continue this PJ for the reason that the map cannot function correctly. I tried to restore the game using the file that I save in my backup but that effort failed. Maybe I could start all over again with a new map. My apologies for the inconvenience. Thank you for those who commented on this journal. I truly appreciated it. Leina Dortzack. -

************ Expressway Bulletin ************ The Markland Valley Parkway has officially opened for commuters and already the highway is being moderately used. The Markland Valley Parkway (MVP) was built in a former creek bed that has drained due to lowering water levels in the region. The parkway was built as a grade separated controlled access freeway and was built to allow access into the downtown core of Markland Woods. The parkway currently has the following statistics: Morning Commute -2778 Car -1892 Bus Evening Commute -2911 Car -2005 Bus The MVP connects to the Golden Coast Expressway where a full interchange has been constructed. Commuters can access the MVP from both the Eastbound and Westbound collector lanes, as well as the Eastbound and Westbound express lanes. When leaving the MVP commuters can use both the express and collector lanes in both the Eastbound and Westbound directions. The MVP also has a full interchange with the Port Authority Ferry docks and a direct connection to the West Mall. The MVP was built to high standards with longer than required acceleration lanes, high mast lighting, overhead gantry signs, and lane markings. This is a complete exit list for the entire section of the MVP *Note: exchanges with one dash (-) are considered full interchanges, exchanges with four dashes (----) have only Northbound on ramps and Southbound off ramps. -Golden Coast Expressway ----Temple Ave ----Cityside Dr Oceanside Drive (Flyover Only) -Port Authority Ferry Docks ----Breakwall Access Road -The West Mall

A few days ago I MMP'd a lake on some open space, but it looked pretty dumpy. I asked anyone viewing my CJ to submit some suggestions, and it totally worked. This is what it looked like originally. (Not my best work. Even Sim dogs refused to poop there.) ...So I blew out a bunch of trees and rocks, simplified the look, added some houses, and called it Connifer Lake. Here's what it looks like now... Yeah baby! Now Sim dogs are pooping everywhere! Thanks to Schriefer who said I should throw in a low density neighborhood, and to 47Ply, who suggested I remove the road surrounding the lake, which I did. (I bumped it back a bit and added in more pine trees.) Pioneer thought I should drop a Walmart, but I've never seen a Walmart next to a lake. Besides, I can't have kids getting spanked next to such a pristine piece of property. Mattb325 houses are da bomb!!! Using anything less would be uncivilized. This is the future sight of a lot more dogga poopy. Still no trains. Not sure why they're not rolling through. I love trains and want lots of them, but I've only had one train so far. Gotta give this area some Maxis love. It's still fun to sprinkle in some of the originals here and there. Thanks again for checking out my city. Thoughts, thumbs up, stars, comments are always welcome.

The chase
CHAPTER 3 Quick suggestion of music to hear, as you read this entry: Barkley grabbed the document and quickly ran towards the back door, as he heard the men trying to break open the front door. He didn’t, however, hear anyone yell “police”, “FBI” or any identification whatsoever, which made him even more certain that he had to run. Managing to arrive at his car, the journalist desperately drove away into the darkness of the night. The white van quickly caught up to him, relentlessly chasing Barkley, as he tried his best to dodge incoming traffic. -

Weymouth Update 10
Wemouth City Update Number 10 Replies: Thanks everyone who commented previously, these comments are greatly appreciated! _______________________ Today's update is really just a general overlook of some of the things I've built recently. Yes, I have made Weymouth v3, I personally think it looks a lot better! Anyways I do hope you enjoy at least some of these pictures The new Milis Square and the all new Rogha Hall. Rogha Hall was traditionally the centre of the British-Leeonian Government, though today it acts as a major tourist destination as the Weymouth Art Gallery, joint with the Leeonian National Museum, we'll see it in the next update, along with Conradh Park which you can see some of it near the bottom of the picture. Coopers Hall. Built in 1904 Coopers Hall was one of the first theatres in Weymouth. Today it is still being used as a theatre hosting 3 shows a week, mainly local theatre but occasionally international ballet, and musicals appear in the theatre. La Cuccina. La Cuccina is one of the iconic Italian restaurants in Leeonia. Serving delicious freshly stone baked pizza, to top it off with some delicious locally made ice cream. Moving North towards the central business district, we come accross Merrion Road Central Shopping Centre. The shopping centre has a floor space of 45,000m2, and over 150 tenants, most being popular franchises such as Holister, HMV, Gap, Tesco, Dunnes, Starbucks and many more. The shopping centre is the main shopping area in Weymouths CBD. In the CBD we come across Blackburn Tower, an iconic skyscraper which head quarters Pro Construction, one of the biggest companies in Leeonia, controlling the forestry and construction industry. The most prestigious theatre in Weymouth, Stevens Park Theatre. The building was completed in 1934 as one of the few art-deco styled buildings in Leeonia. It was originally designed for plays and music performances, but with the growing popularity of film, it was converted to a cinema in 1952 and then upgraded with THX surround sound and a conference hosting building in 2007. The theatre is located in the bustling heart of Weymouth with Merrion Rd./Main street a mere 20m from the entrance of building, and looking over Stevens Park, which leads into the centre of the golden age of Leeonia. The Old Financial District or the banking quarter as it's more commonly known for it's many bank HQ's based here. In the picture you can see the Zurich Insurances' Leeonian Headquarters and Union Brothers Insurances' Headquarters, Union Brothers is another Leeonian company. ___________________________________________________ Hope you enjoyed your time viewing some images of Fabulous Weymouth City! Comments and ratings are greatly appreciated !! ___________________________________________________ - 11

Replies and a preview of Courtyard
Replies First of all, thank you for all of your valuable reviews! It has been some time since I posted the first entry. But after that entry, my time spent on SC4 was reduced due to personal reasons, and the second entry is overdue. Anyway, I will carry on, and creating something I want with SC4. Ln X Thanks a lot! IMHO, those diagonal houses along that FAR-2 are not very satisfying ... Mattb325 has made some houses that would fit with FAR-2/3 better, but there isn't anyone who had successfully tried to make that possible. And the tilt shift in the first picture is a pure coincidence. (By the way, I still have no idea what a tree controller do in the game...) In terms of the MHW, I had tried to improve the way I build it in that area, but the terrain and remaining space didn't seem to allow that happen. There's some 'sharp' cliff along the MHW, which is a problem created when I started the area and build that road like that(but without those Wide Radius Curves). Maybe I didn't pave the MHW in the correct place. Schriefer Thanks! VELOTRAP23 Thank you, but I have to say the mountains look like overlapping cones since the map was imported into the game. 47ply Thanks, the last shot is a mosaic indeed. Moerp Thanks, I just place the town on the flat ground of the basin. blunder Thank you! Tonraq Thanks, and this block maybe one of the best of my work... raynev1 Thanks! feeroz123 Thank you for your stay at this entry. Many of the pictures post in that entry are edited, in order to make the color or contrast of them looks better to me(thus I may have ruined some pictures, lol), and I have tried to use higher resolution when I captured these pictures, which might make them clearer. Tilt shift is a kind of photography. Since I don't know much of it, google maybe a better solution for you if you want to know more about it. Here I edited the first picture so it might have a similar effect to tilt shift. AeonProjects Thanks, and I expect to see your new work. Huston Thank you. To some extent, I use this area as a test of grid breaking. spursrule14 Thanks! Bastet69008 Thank you for your review! The repetitiveness of the neighbourhood is due to the poor amount of BATs of this kind I have collected, and I will try to avoid that from happening again in the future blocks. Courtyard(PREVIEW) This block is seriously behind the original schedule... Here are some pictures of areas completed around these days. Around the central part of the city, at night. A mix of hospital, office buildings, residence and shopping mall, located just outside of the central part. An Imaginary residential area. - 2

Update 4: The churches of Notre
Replies Well guys, I'm back from Uruguay, the trip was amazing, Montevideo is really beautiful and Punta del Este as well, I highly recomend, Uruguay is a very good country. Schriefer, Benedict, Schulmanator, lulsalad, scissors, gugu3, Neto Dari: Thanks once again for your comments, I'm really glad to see that you guys are following the CJ. Simrico: I loved what you wrote haha hope your sims had a great trip, Notre is always welcoming to tourists. TorontoFCBrony: the most beautiful town ever? Wow, thats quite a compliment, thank you! The Churches of Notre We are still in the year of 1870, and today we are gonna make a tour by the churches of Notre. 1. De Oude Kerk, built in 1710. 2. De Nieuwe Kerk, built in 1756. 3. The Westerkerk on a cloudy day, built in 1768. 4. The Marienkerk, by the sunset, built in 1842. 5. And the Notre Kerk, on a foggy day, built in 1862. And as a bonus, my favorite picture of Montevideo. - 4

Introduction - A federal kingdom in western-Europe
Welcome to the Federal Kingdom of Belsay; an existing state southern of Ireland, south-western of the United kingdom and eastern of France. A state sharing the Bay of Biscay with France and Spain and a state bordering one of the most important sea routes on Earth. The Federal Kingdom of Belsay or, as the French speaking minority calls it, Le Royame Fédérale de Belsaux is one of Europes biggest islands. The federation exists out of two federal states, namely the Federal State of Wistelton (Etat Fédéral de Wistelton) in the north with an English speaking population, and the Federal State of Courteville (Etat Fédéral de Courteville) in the south witn a French speaking popluation. HISTORY A brief history: until the First World War the Island of Belsay was occupied by the United Kingdom and a small part (about 10% in the north) was occupied by Ireland. After the First World War France was capable of occupying the eastern part where already most of the population was orientated towards France. Belsay has been a kingdom since 1500 AC, but has been occupied since 1800 AC. The monarch at that time lived in hostile in Sweden and later Canada. At the beginning of the Second World War the Island of Belsay faces an uprising against the occupation by France, Ireland and the United Kingdom. After a smooth revolution the Island receives independance, with the former British and Irish parts forming the Kingdom of Belsay and the southern part forming the State of Courdeville. The monarch returns at this times and becomes monarch of the English part. In 1950 both parts of the Kingdom reunite in a federation with the former and historical monarch as the head of state. STATISTICS In the entire Kingdom there are approximately 50.000.000 civilians. To give you some references, United Kingdom has 63.000.000, France has 65.000.000, Germany has 82.000.000, Italy has 60.000.000 and Spain has 47.000.000. With this population Belsay is currently the sixth European state by population (including Russia). Courteville, the southern state bordering France, has about 15.000.000 civilians. Wistelton, the northern part bordering Ireland and the United Kingdom, has about 35.000.000 civilians. When we look at the size, Courteville occupies about 20% of the island, where Wistelton occupies about 80%. The capital Haydan is almost entirely English and is situated for 85% in Wistelton. Especially the south-eastern part of the capital is part of Courteville and therefor this part has a French orientation. In The Greater Metropolitan Area of Haydan, approximately 12.000.000 people live. This means that about 24% of the population lives in the capital of this state. POLITICS Belsay is a centralized state on almost all political issues, with Queen Dolora of Himmerton as the current head of state. The prime-minister has always been from the English population, because this part of the population is way bigger. The current prime-minister is Silvester Cornwell. CLIMATE Belsay has a climate that is comparable with the climates of London and Paris, although the general temperature in Belsay is warmer, due to its more southern location. Belsay has a sea-climate. -

City Journal on Haitus; Moving to Hawaii!
Sunday I move from the swamps of South Louisiana to the beaches of Maui to live with my brother. I'll be occupied with trivial things like finding a job, finding a job, and finding a job. As soon as I get access to a computer I'll begin my work again; until then I'll be correcting some transportation issues with my city. I want to thank everyone for your comments and for reading, I should be back within a few weeks. Aloha! - 32

Slight changes made to Downtown
How long has it been since i've updated a CJ of mine? Well i can officially say i've been working on the Englewood region for a whole year now so horray! Now that imageshack went and decided to make me pay for their service, i switched to photobucket and i wish i chose the. It's simpler and faster. Now here is my update. I'll try to update at least once a month. As you can see, the skyline has changed a little. The white skyscraper near the highway bridge no longer looks out in the open with a few high rises and business around it now. I also replaced the Route 109 bridge with a NAM one. It fits pretty good. Now i forgot what buildings i've replaced on the block here but here you see the city's newest apartment building which is now it's tallest. *The tall blue one*. You can also see the newly constructed hotel facing the intersection. I replaced the state capital and moved it to a different city. I replaced it with a Marriott hotel facing the inner harbor. I replaced the bus terminal that was located between route 109 and replaced it with a new office building that looks and fits pretty well. Now to finish, here is the Englewood skyline at night. I will hopefully see you soon. - 4
