    Hook and Ladder Company 8 is a fire station located in New York City. It was used as the headquarters of the Ghostbusters in the film series. 1x2 fire station. MaxisNite and DarkNite versions included. DarkNite requires the Day and Nite Modd.
  2. I am currently staying at a hotel in downtown Hull in Quebec and, just 200 yards away is the original 1911 Hull Fire Station. It would be very easy to model in Building Architect however I can only see how to upload Residential commercial, industrial and gift designs not municipal buildings. Please advise.
  3. So..question, two actually: I downloaded, then put in my plugins, the NDEX-ITS Fire station: I unzipped it and moved the three files directly to my plugins folder. When i restarted the game, the fire station, i couldnt find it. I then created a folder, put the same files in it, and put it into my plug ins, still no Fire Station. Finally, I downloaded another NDEX -ITS mod, put the fire station in it as a sub folder and moved that whole folder to the plug ins folder, still no Fire Station Does any one have any ideas or suggestions? Also, on a side note: I have downloaded a bunch of player made Map/Regions and put them into my regions folder, yet when i start the game, i cant find any of them. Suggestions?     This is an old abandoned fire hall outside Buffalo, New York built in 1908. It previously had a third floor with a peaked roof that was removed somewhere down the line. Some changes I made to this over the actual building, it is condensed from what would probably be a 1x3 or 1x4 deep lot to 1x2 and removed the back section. The brick texture isn't as worn and I gave it proper windows and added the hose tower to reflect it still being in use rather than dilapidated. Also it looks a lot disproportionate to the actual building because I had to widen it to make it wall to wall compatible. The specs are the default fire station specs used by SC4 Plugin Manager, standard funding (I think) and one fire engine, as a building this size would house.
  5. My question is about THIS fire station. I have AC Mega texture packs 1 and 2 and the SHK parking pack like it says but I'm still getting brown boxes. Any help?

The main garaging for the fire trucks is at the rear with additional emergency access through the large central arch if needed. The building is an overhanging 1x1 lot. Place it along a diagonal road or avenue and then use one of the many park filler pieces available or NAM ped Malls to fill in the blank spaces to your liking. Therefore, each time you plop the building, it is entirely possible to create a new lot around the fire station, just like C:S. Being fire station, it is found in the fire menu.     TL-SCF-Heretic Modular Regional Airport This modular aiport has three parents. SimCityFuturist is the one who did the original, which I loved and used often. And since I know many players are scared to death at the idea of making custom airports - like me -, I thought I would just relot it. And maybe add a Rail Station ? And remake the Freight Station ? And what if they were both functional, too ? And could subway be added to the Passenger Rail terminal ? That was a bit beyond my pay grade, and that’s where Tyberius, a.k.a. Heretic, intervened and did the modding heavy lifting, as well as give some TLC to parkings and general transport areas (and convince me about some props). This thing occupies a whole medium city tile in length and about 30 city squares in width. The airport per se is not functional, although the runways’ lights twinkle prettily and automata land and take off jauntily. You will need to add SFBT(Andreas) Airport Shuttle to your plugins in order to satisfy your citizens clamoring for air transit. But the rest is functional. You can extend the Freight rail to a much bigger freightyard if you so desire, as well as link the two double tracks of the passenger rail to more lines. And there is a subway station. The other option is if you want to satisfy air transit demand, plop the Airport Tram and Swamper77 Air Support lot instead (they go together). Many thanks as usual to my technical gurus, Rsc204, Kosc and Dreadnought. And especially Rivit, who lighted my SC4world and is always generously ready to help (this time with a much needed parking texture). And the guys and gals on the forums (Twalsh, Matias93, Fantozzi, Cyclone Boom, Catty-cb, Corinamarie, Andreas…). We need support when we begin peeking under the hood of SC4. That the community is always there for us noobies is very comforting. ----------------------------------------------- EDIT : Was just made aware of a Planes-on-Taxiway MMP by joelyboy0911. Sharing. You're welcome. _____________________________ Installation: IF you have a folder called TL-SCF-Heretic Airport FIX LOTS - remove it. If you have the previous Tariely LOTS folder - then just let the new files to override the old files. If you have a folder called Included Dependencies (most probably in the root of your plugins folder) with the following files: - TL-PROPS JRJ Yellow taxis 2.dat - Heretic-Tariel Airport Textures_text.dat TL-PROPS Mikeseith Airport Shuttles folder with 7 additional *.dat files you need to remove these files. In the new Tariely LOTS folder with this v1.5 upload you should still have an Included Dependencies folder with only two files: Heretic_Additional_Custom_paths.dat, Heretic-Tariel Airport Textures_text.dat. You must keep these files. Place/copy the Tariely LOTS folder into your plugins folder. In any case after installation you need to replop the following lot files in game where you used them: TL-SCF-Heretic Airport pt01 - Runway 1 TL-SCF-Heretic Airport pt05 - Terminal 1 TL-SCF-Heretic Airport pt06 - Terminal 2 Middle TL-SCF-Heretic Airport pt07 - Terminal 3 End TL-SCF-Heretic Airport pt09 - Cargo Rail Freight TL-SCF-Heretic Airport pt10 - Passenger Rail OR alternatively: TL-SCF-Heretic Airport pt10b - Passenger HRW Terminal – This is a new lot, it meant to be connected on one DTR line with the new (post NAM v38) HRW network***. The other DTR line is still reagular rail. It has higher transport capacity than the original version. On these passanger rail lots all car route are modded for the OWR network. You might experience odd custom paths at the middle top of these lots, ignore them or send a PM to Tyberious06 if you have any questions. ***To connect that TE track with this new HRW network, use the Monorail tool at the edge of the lot. Uninstall: bulldoze all of these lots from your cities then remove all these files from your plugins. This fire station is inspired by the newly built fire stations that you find in many outer urban areas. They are cheap and quick to build, and basically all look the same. In true functionalist style, it is given red trim work to easily denote its function. Stats-wise, this is similar to the in-game fire station, with a larger coverage radius. It provides 17 civic jobs.     Included in this download are three Fire Stations. One for your small maps, one for your medium maps, and one for your large maps. These have a radius of 1024, 2048 and 4096 respectively. So, they will cover their intended maps almost anywhere they are plopped. Their other properties, including effectiveness, remain largely unchanged. Only a few exceptions... *The new small station uses the same building and has the same number of engines (1) and jobs (7§) as the original. The only difference in this one is the coverage area, new 2x2 lot, and the monthly cost which is now §250. *The medium fire station uses the same building as the small, but has 2 engines and 14 jobs (10§ and 4§§). It has a new 2x3 lot and a monthly cost of §1,000. *The new large station uses the original large building, has 4 engines (instead of 2), and still has 28 jobs (20§ and 8§§). It also has a new 4x4 lot with a monthly cost of §4,000. These costs reflect how much it would cost to (almost) cover your maps with the in game stations, but using just one instead of several. The medium and large stations use seasonal HD tree props. All have a custom overlay texture included in this download, and all have custom icons. *NOTE- These lots do not replace the default stations. Also, unlike schools or hospitals, it is not advised to cut funding to these or any fire or police stations as that would have a highly negative effect. This building is based entirely on and modeled after the nearly identical building from the Asian architecture set from SimCity 3000 Unlimited, part of a series of buildings I plan to create for Cities: Skylines and based on SC3KU buildings. Basic stats: Found in the fire department category. 5x4 lot. The custom model is just a shade under 1,870 triangles. Includes custom LOD with custom textures. The LOD is 206 tris. You may experience issues if you have also installed other mods that affect any aspect of fire fighting facilities, including drones, garages, and helipads. All of the cheats reduce resource requirements while greatly increasing desired output. Usable only in single player mode. Go to region-overview, delete the region previously created 8.-Now you can load your city where the error was occurred. You have to repeat this trick after each game restart.   23. I wanted to produce a mod like 00Stevo's (police helipad for small police station) except it would be for the fire station. Now, below, this is for people who use SimCityPak and know what I'm talking about : I changed the fire helipad's Parent Menu InstanceID to match the fire station's sign. After that, I gave my package its own InstanceID. I get the helipad in the menu, but when I try to plop it on the fire station it says "overlapping". What am I doing wrong? Thanks, Cap

    Are your sims tired of the plain, regular fire station? Well not to fear, Matt is here! This is an edited Maxis lot made to look like a suburban/ Wealthy fire station, based on a LA Station. Hope you enjoy your treat! . HOW TO INSTALL It's as easy as 1-2-3. Extract OR Copy to your plugins folder. I recommend adding (if you don't have already) a "Custom Fire" Folder to add just so your organized! INCLUDED FILES There are 1 main file.The actual station base itself. The station does spawn Ceafus's Fire Chief.. The next file is ia HD police car that will spawn when you place a POLICE station. If you do not like this, or have another police file, you can delete that file from your dependency list. FEEDBACK I will take any critism against this lot only because it is my first lot, and im still learning the ropes.
