Art Deco Fire Station, by Mattb325.

The old Euro Tileset Fire Station from SC3000 gets an SC4 facelift.

This large fire station has amazing art deco features and was too good to be left out of SC4. Looks good in either a downtown or suburban setting. It has an extended coverage radius and 4 dispatches. It also provides 43 desirable civic jobs.

NOTE ABOUT DARK NITE vs MAXIS NITE:

This download contains TWO model files; one for dark nite users (and other night-time darkening mods, such as Gizmos night-mod) and one for the standard Maxis nite.
You must keep only one file - depending on which version you use. If you are unsure whether you have a night-darkening mod installed, then choose the Maxis night version.

If you use the dark nite version, you will need a dark nite mod. (http://community.simtropolis.com/files/file/23089-simfox-day-and-nite-modd/)

It would be nice to see all the art decked-out inside, but I will settle for the beautiful work of art on the outside. *:D Thank you for a wonderful building.

I can appreciate a throwback to earlier SimCity games, especially a Mattb325 work! The SC3K Euro fire station has an Art Deco - modernist transition, something you might have expected in the mid 1930s to early 1950s. It's a design well suited for a varieties of urban and suburban environments, which gives it welcomed versatility. Plus, with Matt's diligent modding, texturing and lotting, it's a great fit in the game programmatically and visually. Thank you for the new fire station Matt! 5/5!

I do like this !  Art Deco has always been a favorite of mine, and this one is excellent!

The "look" of the building allows it to be used in any style or size of city.  The lot is compact and can be placed almost anywhere, and the landscaping is very nice.

The radius of coverage is very good and the four dispatches will give us all something to "play" with.  As a side note -- it has always been my contention that a LARGE city should never have more than four fire stations -- and two would actually be a lot!
