    TL-NTS Park Pathsv2 & ADDONS In my unending quest for modularity, and having discovered some interesting overlays, it occurred to that I could add some stuff to my NTS Park Paths set, especially the beautiful CARCH Fountains and a few other loved ones on 2x2 lots linked by paths to the rest of the set. The overlays gave me Basins and Greens — with fountain effects added, of course. Then I realized I’d used a different type of bench for each set, argh. So I relotted them all accordingly, including the NTS Park Paths (the V2 in this upload.) Of course you can use the Addons with the version 01 of the NTS Park Paths ; they sport CP slimmer brown benches instead of Murimk’s, that’s all. As usual with my uploads, all those sets have night lites. While lotting, I noticed that one of the props I used, a planter by CSX, was already lit. It detracted from the full modularity of the sets so I made an unlit version. Then, looking at some test picture, I felt that the pieces that are lit (only ortho) made a pretty effect if put all together. Therefore I made both a lit and an unlit version of the orthogonal pieces of the Basins & Greens. They are identified as such in the folders. The point in modularity is CHOICE. Some might feel there are too many choices in this one, i.e. too many pieces/files, but I have carefully arranged everything so that you can pick and choose easily. Also I have refrained from putting too many trees on the Greens, so that you can MMP to your heart’s content. The sets and their pieces follow one another in a more or less logical order in the Park Menu (depending on your own set of plugins, of course) and cost little. They are SPOTted for easier plopping, and they all have a slight positive effect on their environment (medium wealth). Many thanks to my technical gurus, Rsc204, Kosc and Dreadnought. And especially Rivit, who lighted my SC4world and is always generously ready to help.     TL-SCF-Heretic Modular Regional Airport This modular aiport has three parents. SimCityFuturist is the one who did the original, which I loved and used often. And since I know many players are scared to death at the idea of making custom airports - like me -, I thought I would just relot it. And maybe add a Rail Station ? And remake the Freight Station ? And what if they were both functional, too ? And could subway be added to the Passenger Rail terminal ? That was a bit beyond my pay grade, and that’s where Tyberius, a.k.a. Heretic, intervened and did the modding heavy lifting, as well as give some TLC to parkings and general transport areas (and convince me about some props). This thing occupies a whole medium city tile in length and about 30 city squares in width. The airport per se is not functional, although the runways’ lights twinkle prettily and automata land and take off jauntily. You will need to add SFBT(Andreas) Airport Shuttle to your plugins in order to satisfy your citizens clamoring for air transit. But the rest is functional. You can extend the Freight rail to a much bigger freightyard if you so desire, as well as link the two double tracks of the passenger rail to more lines. And there is a subway station. The other option is if you want to satisfy air transit demand, plop the Airport Tram and Swamper77 Air Support lot instead (they go together). You're welcome. _____________________________ Installation: IF you have a folder called TL-SCF-Heretic Airport FIX LOTS - remove it. If you have the previous Tariely LOTS folder - then just let the new files to override the old files. If you have a folder called Included Dependencies (most probably in the root of your plugins folder) with the following files: - TL-PROPS JRJ Yellow taxis 2.dat - Heretic-Tariel Airport Textures_text.dat TL-PROPS Mikeseith Airport Shuttles folder with 7 additional *.dat files you need to remove these files. In the new Tariely LOTS folder with this v1.5 upload you should still have an Included Dependencies folder with only two files: Heretic_Additional_Custom_paths.dat, Heretic-Tariel Airport Textures_text.dat. You must keep these files. Place/copy the Tariely LOTS folder into your plugins folder. In any case after installation you need to replop the following lot files in game where you used them: TL-SCF-Heretic Airport pt01 - Runway 1 TL-SCF-Heretic Airport pt05 - Terminal 1 TL-SCF-Heretic Airport pt06 - Terminal 2 Middle TL-SCF-Heretic Airport pt07 - Terminal 3 End TL-SCF-Heretic Airport pt09 - Cargo Rail Freight TL-SCF-Heretic Airport pt10 - Passenger Rail OR alternatively: TL-SCF-Heretic Airport pt10b - Passenger HRW Terminal – This is a new lot, it meant to be connected on one DTR line with the new (post NAM v38) HRW network***. The other DTR line is still reagular rail. It has higher transport capacity than the original version. On these passanger rail lots all car route are modded for the OWR network. You might experience odd custom paths at the middle top of these lots, ignore them or send a PM to Tyberious06 if you have any questions. ***To connect that TE track with this new HRW network, use the Monorail tool at the edge of the lot. Uninstall: bulldoze all of these lots from your cities then remove all these files from your plugins.     TL-Rivit Essentials V5 This replaces completely version 3 and 4 from now on. (you must remove any previous versions of this essentials) Contents of this essentials: · z0_rivit lights – essential light cones and poles on the TL lots. · z1_TL essentials – custom textures which might apear on TL lots. · z2_TL optional lightpole overrides – When usingV4 and above, and if you already have a lighting set-up (LRM or USL), the z2_ prefixed folder should be optional. The first file (RVT ParkLights2.dat) in this folder changes the maxis park light poles to a custom one, it’s an override and makes effect on all of the lots which using the original maxis park ligth with the original TGI ID. The second file (zTariel-LRMv4 US Generic Lightpoles_v2.dat) is a special override version of the light poles from the z0 folder, which have custom nightlite set-ups. By default you would not need this file. · z3_TL Divers – this contains a set of automata turned props, they were mostly used on the TL-SCF-Heretic Modular Regional Airport lots. It is essential to remove the version what was used in the Essentials v4 and only USE the version from v5. They were buggy (in V4) and had an odd side effect on the original automatas (drifting automatas) Installation: Remove any previous z____Tariely Mods or Tariel-Rivit's Essentials folder (particulary these files: · zLightCones_RVTNite.dat · RVT ParkLights2.dat · Rivit BSCTexturesCycledoggVol1Extra2.dat · Rivit BSCTexturesCycledoggVol1Extra.dat from the earlier versions (before v4). Also remove whatever files came with the Tariel-Rivit's Essentials V.04. Place/copy the z____Tariely Mods folder from this V5 into your plugins folder. Additional things which you might need to remove as residues of previous versions: · Z___RRW Reskin Rivit folder – this was released with V3, it’s an older version of Rivit’s RRW Reskin mod, not the most up to date, and if you are using a different RRW Reskin or will use a different one later, this might be conflicting with that one. If you want to use this Rivit version of the Reskin, please, visit his OneDrive and get the most recent one: rivits SC4Resources (latest RRW Reskin Kit) · RVT zNightLighting LRM tweak – this folder was released with the TL-Rivit Essentials V4 and contains a tweaked version of the original LRM. It’s actually mostly an either this or that decesion. You can remove this from your plugins if you are using USL or LRM, or you can remove those. You can also find the original version of this tweak in rivits SC4Resources (this is basicly the very first zip there). It changes night settings to somewhere between Dark Night and Maxis Night. If you are using this tweaked version, then you might want to use zTariel-LRMv4 US Generic Lightpoles_v2.dat from the z2_TL optional lightpole overrides which can be found in this Essentials v5. Disclaimer: the Rivit Lights (more precisely this file: zLightCones_RVTNite.dat) have been recut into this new Tariel-RVT LightCones.dat to work with this essentials and to have less side effect on other light replacement mods. Dependencies (yepp although it’s a dependency it has a few dependencies): MandelSoft's LRM v4.0 – it’s an installer based plugin. For the essentials you only need the models/props installation. You need the following files from this: LRMv4_Models_LightCones_DarkNite.dat (OR Maxis Nite version), LRMv4_Models_Streetlights_Misc.dat, LRMv4_Models_Streetlights_USA.dat BSC MegaProps JRJ Vol.02 – For the jeronij taxi props. Mikeseith modular 8Level Parking Garage – only the Airport Shuttle.dat file is needed from that one. Special thanks to Tyberius and Rivit, who rationalized this new version —it needed it !     TL-DT-RVT Manta Rail Station 3x5 Some time ago, I decided to go through my stash of passenger rail stations to see how they worked through the lens of my newly acquired Reader and Lot Editor. Of course I ended up remaking some of them, especially to add parkings to them because I am lazy, (despite all the excellent modular parkings we can nowadays lay out while playing). As I am into smaller cities, they are mostly small to medium stations, with a few exceptions here and there. I ran into some problems with this one, which Rivit helped me solve. That is why a new model by rivit is included in this upload instead of the original as well as his patched lot. (You will see the original lot icon in your rail menu — unavoidable, sorry.)     TL-Paeng Monument Park Modular Set Here is my respectful relot of one of Paeng’s iconic parks sets, Monument Park, which was published in Parks 205 Revisited. I adore Paeng’s parks, but when I began to play with nightlights, I realized to my utter dismay that they were not lit, or so little as to be very dark at night. It’s one of the main reasons I began learning to lot : as a Mayor, I want my peeps to feel safe in my parks and plazas ! I changed very little, apart from the lights and a 3x1 Park Administration piece redone as a 3x2. I tried to keep the pieces as relatively greenery-free as the originals, so that you can MMP them to our heart’s content (they’re more welcoming to MMPs, thanks to MGB Override — see picture of a test MMP’d Monument Park). I gave them new icons and they are SPOTted for directions (easier plopping). Finally, I tried to group them so that they will show up in the Park Menu in a logical order (Basics, Ends, Addons, Wides) — depending, of course, of each player’s plugins. As some players, like me, may not want the lots to be seasonal, (Paeng used Porkie Trees), I added my Evergreen version of those trees to the deps so as to give you the option. If you want the seasonals, just chuck that dep, or leave it anywhere in your folder ; as long as it does not load last, the trees will stay seasonal. And do visit Paeng’s excellent content. N. B. : This park’s path texture is compatible with some of the parks of Tariel’s Big Modular Parks & Paths Project uploaded a while back , like TL-Holly Hocks Parks & Paths Set and TL-Gazbo Modular Parks & Paths Set (there are transition pieces for them).     TL-Gazbo Modular Parks & Paths Set Tariel’s Big Modular Parks & Paths Project (a.k.a. TBMPPP), continued. After the NTS Modular Paths Set, and the Holly Hocks Parks & Paths Set, here is another set of 20 parks and their paths, with eight different textures, the most generally used. The pieces have been SPOTted for easier use. Also, decorated with Prop Families (just replop if the greenery doesn’t suit you). And they are lit, of course. In order to avoid too bright lights in some pieces, be mindful of the way you plop them (especially the straight and cross pieces and when plopping identical pieces one after the other.). I’ve tried to indicate clearly which side is up —that’s where the secondary lightning effect is placed, sometimes causing too much brightness. NB : one of the parks, Willow Pond Park, with JENX willow, is not, alas, pretty by night. But I have included it nevertheless for those of you who only play day, because those trees are too amazing. If you want to use more than one park set at a time, the pieces are ordered in the menu by texture, so they might be up and down your park menu, but — hopefully — always logically grouped. There are a few transitions pieces from one texture to another (more can be made if asked nicely :-) WARNING : the icons are the same from one set to the other (basic shapes, no texture), only the names are different. All pieces are medium wealth and procure a medium Landmark & Park effect. NB : If you are wondering why there are two sets of greystone parks, (horizontal and vertical texture), it is because they match my Infinity Parks and their modules addons, whose textures have both H & V orientations. And because it does help. You’ll see when you play Tetris with those sets. And Ludwig D. Gazbo is another park designer, Holly Hocks’ business partner and companion. In case you wondered. ****EDIT : I was made aware that two lots were corrupted and were doing Bad Things to the game (freeze or CTD). I intended to upload a new version with the lots (repaired by rsc4), but before I could test them, my plugins folder underwent catastrophic failure. He sent me a nice model of an anchor and… I let it ran away and make babies with Don Miguel Waterfront Promenade lots. Here’s the result.     TL-Chinese Plazas 4x3 (2 versions) Only the pavement pattern is vaguely Chinese, but why not ? I just wanted to showcase shmails’ stunning First Bloom Roundabout Set, at least two of them to begin with. The two versions are dressed slightly differently, greenery-wise.
