  1. Llama Reserve Nature Park

    Version 1.0.0

This lot uses the maximum number of props allowed on a lot. The props are listed as: LotConfigPropertyLotObjectData, starting with 0x88EDC900 and ending with 0x88EDCDFF for a total of 1,280 props. Source: SC4 Devotion Forum The included road and parking overlay textures are the same as in my recently updated Quantum Dish download which has another version of the 3x3 Roundabout. If both are used then delete one or the other file named 'OverlayTexturesCivics_Network.dat'. The overlays may be used freely as long as a message to delete multiples of the same .dat file is included. EDIT NOTE: All the network connections are for 'streets' (in gray) so you have to drag a street from the lot edge. If you surround the lot with 'roads' (in black) they won't automatically connect and you can't drag roads out from the edge. The Llama Reserve and Nature Park An 11x13 lot with Maxis animal animations of llamas, cows, horses, giraffes, bucks and pigeons (which rarely appear, if at all). High park effect in local area. Minimal pollution. Network and transit enabled. Uses 200 mwh of power. The Llama Statue Roundabout A 3x3 lot with a llama statue built from the Maxis rock props. This lot uses my road overlay textures to create a roundabout connected on each side to the network. High landmark effect. Minimal pollution. The domestic llama statue was modelled from a picture by Kim Foster and is included under the Creative Commons Attribution 2 Generic License. Source: https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Domestic_llama_(2009-05-19).jpg Install: To install delete Previews and text files, place the 'Llama Reserve Nature Park V1' folder in your 'user documents/ SimCity 4/ plugins' folder. NO DEPENDENCIES
  2. im having a problem with this one region i downloaded (and modified) for SimCity 4. I downloaded this region: ^it's the 48 contiguous states of the USA. I truely love this region because it's very beautiful, However, i wanted more 'space' with it. as in make the whole map bigger. So what i did was, i doubled the size of the config, which would make the entire region twice the size as it is. and followed the readme steps included with it, i did nothing to the gray-scale image though. However, whenever i try to load the region in my SimCity 4 game, it crashes before it can load the region. the game crashes, not my computer. My computer is a MSI gaming laptop, so it should be able to handle the region, i guess, despite it's massive size, but the game crashes when i try to load it. I even turned down all the graphic settings to their lowest settings and it still crashes when i try to load it. I'm just wondering, does anyone here know if there's anyway to get the increased-sized region to work? please help ♥ and if u have any questions, just ask.
  3. Planet Sim

    Version 2.0.0

A bit late to the party, my first map*. Made using Google and Paint.net, it's basic, mostly flat and fairly large. Scale was beaten up and left for dead. *(Not even my first Big Earth Map! My bad - Please also see "Another Big Earth Map" too)
  4. Increase map size maximum

Hi all, Some new life on the sc3k forum reminds me of this question I have for years. Playing sc3k always made me end up building highrises on the map edges. Might there be an opportunity modding the game such that the maximum map size increases? Eg 4 fold or 9 fold. This would allow creating larger metropolises in sc3k.
  5. South America

    Version 1.0.0

Map of South America. Zip contains grayscale, SC4M and config file. All large cities.. Lots of them.
  6. O-Mega Map

    Version 1

I made this map because I could find no map large enough to fulfill my territorial needs. The map was 8000x5000 but i could not make a config for it so i downsized to4097x2561. This map has flat plains, valleys, mountains (a lot of mountains), peninsulas, islands, oceans, bays, rivers, lakes, gulfs, and much much more... Enjoy!!!
  7. Australia

    Version 1.0.0

Map of Australia. Zip contains greyscale, SC4M and config file. All large cities.. Lots of them.
  8. Africa

    Version 1.0.0

Map of Africa. Zip contains greyscale, SC4M and config file. All large cities.. Lots of them.
  9. North America

    Version 1.0.0

Map of North America. I have spent the last week trying to add rivers but end up raising the land level after every render, see the last screen shot. I have tried a few different things with no success, if anyone out there has an idea, please let me know.
  10. United Kingdom

    Version 1.0.0

  12. Version 2.0.0

No dependencies. All lots are 5x5 ploppables in the Reward menu, available at the start, and are network and transit enabled (capacity: 100) Maxis lighting. This project is inspired by the first version of SimCity (Classic) now called 'Micropolis' developed in the 1980's and released as open source. The 7th preview is an image of a session of playing the Java version of Micropolis that is freely downloadable from github.com. In Micropolis there are only three same-sized squares for RCI zoning. I've used the reward system in SC4 to re-lot all 6 of the large commercial office buildings, 2 of the largest high-wealth residential, 1 of the largest high-tech industrial buildings, and 1 agricultural building. All the lots are the same area size like in Micropolis. The queries are the same queries used for the buildings as grown in the game. The associated reward will only be indicated in the reward menu as the item is selected and plopped. The lots contain code for both the reward and the replacement building so apparently the lots provide the benefits of the reward as well as the operation of the building. The intent of making these lots is providing access to the buildings so the reward function was not evaluated, but the queries do report capacity usage for the replaced building --no 'goofy stat' for the reward. NOTE: Residential ploppables may indicate some usage initially, but will quickly degrade to Abandoned Due to Commute Time so are not functional as Residential. Previews of Buildings Featuring Terrain Mods (see Preview and Install.html in zip file) Terrain Resources Listed in: Cori's Terrain Shoppe Descriptions of the 10, 5x5 Large RCI and 1 Civic Building are included in the zip file: The buildings appear in the reward menu with a unique menu icon, the building and reward names. The Opera House, Farmer's Market and Tourist Trap rewards also appear in the Parks menu. • Van Prooijen Trading: Commercial: Convention Center • Ong Condos: Residential: Major Art Museum • Hurt Enterprise Headquarters: Commercial: Tourist Trap • Hogan, Wallace, and White Insurance: Commercial: Resort Hotel • Cahalane Communications: Civic: Bureau of Bureaucracy • Lind Entertainment: Commercial: Stock Exchange • Byall Tower : Residential: Opera House • Tubing Facility: Industrial: Advanced Research Center • Alvin's Acres: Agriculture: Farmer's Market • Pedriana Pharmaceuticals: Commercial: TV Station A stage 8 CO§§§ building in the Chicago tileset. Capacity: 7,103 ______________________________________________________ I've given this lot project the name MicroProject and made a logo for identifying the lots in the Reward and Parks menus. Each lot appears near the original reward, with a building icon and the logo overlay. The original reward is not replaced. The re-lots are available at the start of a new city. 13. Promenade of Light Plaza 3x16

    Version 2.0.0

    • Elongated shape to extend the radius of park and landmark effects, set at 90% for both over 20 tiles. • Illumination of area in Maxis night-lighting, adding contrast to night scenery. • Blinking light, pigeons, sparkle effects and people animations. • Original sculpture made from Maxis rock block props. • Custom query based on tutorials and a sample lot file by Equinox and Daeley (2005) found on Simtropolis and SC4 Devotion, • Addition to Park Menu ploppables, no external dependencies. • Note: the 'Bulbs Changed' Goofy Stat. is not programmed, its simply a static number written on the menu graphic. Installation: Place the 'Promenade_of_Light_Plaza_3x16.SC4Lot' file in 'username'~/Documents/SimCity 4/Plugins folder. Start SC4 and look for the lot's icon in the Parks Menu. The zip now contains 2 independent lots so: For the working fountain plaza also place the 'Promenade_Fountains_Plaza_3x16.SC4Lot' in the same folder, or choose either one as each one stands alone.
  14. PARTHENON PARK: The Living City

    Version 1.0.0

This is my third park lot using the vanilla props from SC4. This park is part of an urban beautification and vitalization project for the inner-city. Named after the Parthenon in Athens, an architectural and cultural artifact representing the foundations of modern civilization, and attributed to Athena, the personification of calmness, wisdom, ethical, and civil society. The park design utilizes the dimensions said to be essential to the Parthenon following the golden rectangle ratio, calculated in SC4 city tiles as 8 (width) by 5 (depth). The Parthenon building landmark was released as an update to SC4. The park is well-lighted with a variety of animations and park-related props including the Zen Rock Garden, Greenhouses, Koi Fish Pond, a Pool, Fountains, Swing Sets, Slides, Refreshment Stand, Gazebo, Billboards, Basketball Courts, and a small Skateboard arena. This lot is animation and graphics-intensive, found under the parks menu, but intended as a main feature or central city park, and so should only be plopped once in any city you are building. Medium Wealth Cost: 950 Monthly Income: 150 Air Pollution: -30, 10 Water Pollution, -10, 10 Park Effect: 100, 40 Landmark Effect: 80, 20 Maxis Night Lighting No Dependencies
  15. Falklands

    Version 1.0

The tiny island off of the coast of South America under British Sovereignty, my second map release and my first real world location release! the map contains 6 x 6 Large cities (36 cities). Once the file is downloaded, extract the contents to your regions directory, as in place the folder "Falklands" into your Region folder. Then start up the game load up Falklands and then press " Control + Alt + Shift + R" then once the screen has popped up, navigate to the Falklands.jpeg file in the regions --> Falklands folder and then go make yourself a drink! Obviously the more RAM etc your computer has, the quicker the map shall render. No Dependencies.
  16. Isle of Ree

    Version 1

Hello, this is the Isle of Ree! A fantasy map based from a fantasy map i found on the internet. I used the map as a loose base for coastlines, rivers and lakes, but hand-drew the mountains. It consists of 126 large cities. The config is 80x40 with much of the blank ocean blacked out. Install using SC4 Mapper and have fun!
  17. Version 1

This PEG Utopia Series lot is a larger version of the game-default subway station. It uses an open, subterranean plaza-like style to provide a glimpse into your city's underground world. The lot is 3x3 tiles in size... which should make it much easier to find amid large groupings of sky-rises.The costs are doubled... from §500/20 to §1,000/40... as are most of the other properties such as power/water usage and pollution (which is still minimal). However, the capacity is increased 150% from 2,000 to 5,000... and the number of jobs is significantly higher to reflect employment in the included shops. As an added bonus, it also has the same properties as a medium-sized plaza. It is not only an improved transportation station... but it will also promote desirability and growth in the area. * The lot uses timed props to simulate the coming and going of the subway train. The train cycles on & off (or in & out, if you prefer) every 4 hours game time. * The model is extensively nite lighted. The subway train is a visual element only and not part of your actual subway network. The model can be rotated when plopped to align with the connecting subway tunnel but this is not required. ** This file has no external dependencies. All Pegasus files are now legacy content and are no longer officially supported - however support from the wider community can be requested here.
  18. Version 1.0.0

As says in the Title, it's 64x64, or 4288 Real life Square Kilometers, to give an idea of how big that is, the size of Timbuktu and when you automatically create a new Region is 16x16, or 268 Square Kilometers. How to use/download the Region: 1. Download the config.bmp and Floris.jpg files. 2. After you've downloaded the config.bmp and Floris.jpg files, you wan't to start a new automatic region. 3. Then you wan't to hold down [shift] + [alt] + [ctrl] + r, and double-click on the Floris.jpg file, and Wallah! WARNING: May take up to 8 Minutes to download the Region (ingame) Also, be sure you create a new folder in your "SimCity 4 Regions" Folder, with both the jpg and bmp files in it, so that way it doesn't flood your "Downloads" Folder, and that's about it, enjoy! (Floris Valley town, not included)
  19. Floris.jpg

  21. North West England

    Version 1.1

This is a large map of the southern half of north west England. There is enough space to build the whole of Manchester, Liverpool, Preston, Blackpool, Warrington, rural Cheshire and the suburban sprawl which runs all over the place! The map is of a 1:1 size, so is very big, but fun. The only problems with it are the mountains to the north and east. Thats the Peak District National Park...but when lightening the map enough to be above the water level, the tops of the hills got 'clipped' - I couldn't find away around the. I have attached the greyscale imagine to this for anyone who is able to fix this. Also...You might see all the ponds/ small lakes near the coast. These aren't really there as its all marsh land which has been channelled. I decided to leave them in as this is meant to be a map of the area before it was build on and tamed.
  22. Capital

Welcome everybody !! For my latest entry I took some pictures of my Capital !! I got a bunch more but I only picked a couple. So take a look around and tell me what you think of it... 23. Version 1.0

We're going old school, folks . This mod allows you to plop the large ambulance bay from the hospital as a module for the clinic. It will plop on the road as the clinic ambulance bay already does. I may create a video for this mod, although I don't know if it will be necessary. How to install: 1. Unzip the file after downloading. 2. Copy and paste the .package file into C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games/SimCity/SimCityData. Special thanks to: - Johnathan_Tycoon: for helping me make the mod.
  24. The Isles of Pandora

    Version 1.0

Hello! This is my second ever file, an archipelago region called Isles of Pandora. Hopefully this will make up for the disaster that was my first upload... ( Jorjoba ) [Grimace ] Anyway, the region is the size equivalent of 28 x 24 small tiles (or 7 x 5 large tiles) and contains 32 large tiles and 12 medium tiles. It is a fantasy map handmade by me in SC4 Terraformer. It's not based off of anything in particular, although some sections are "inspired" by real-life regions of the world. The Isles of Pandora are divided into three primary sections: Arcadia Island to the Southeast, Lawrence Island to the Southwest, and the Mainland to the North. The map is designed to be well-suited for urban mayors who like to throw in a little touch of nature here and there. As such, the land is mostly flat, although there are some prominent geographical features (I tried my best to create proper sources for the rivers and decent-looking mountain ranges) Also, you might notice that many islands have small sections that hang over into other cities. This is intentional: The region is designed to give mayors the choice between relying on bridges or ferries to connect the islands. In this way, I have given you multiple different ways to play this region. In the end though, the choice is yours. Have fun! ~~~ Disclaimer: When you open up some of the city tiles, you will likely notice that sometimes there are awkwardly-placed water features, such as land protruding to just below sea level, or rivers being incredibly narrow. This is due to the fact that I am still new to SC4Terraformer. Don't worry though; A couple clicks with God tools should fix all of the issues. ~~~ The download contains a readme, an overview picture, the .SC4M file, and the config.bmp. Installation instructions are included on the readme.
  25. Bastia

Welcome to Bastia. 4097x2561 map, yup its big. 64x40 km aka 16x10 large cities This map features valleys, mountains, rivers, lakes, ponds, bays, islands, shores, and seas. Please use SC4Mapper to render this and most of all... have fun!
