Hi, I've been trying to get into creating custom bridges for traffic but I wasn't able to obtain a good tutorial on how to do so. What I would like to do is create for each traffic module (one way, road, avenue, highway, rail, monorail etc.) a bridge which has no pillars in between the start and the end part. Meaning, that the middle section is just hovering above the surface. This would allow creating bridge lots as overhanging props (such as the "Lange Wapper Bridge" by @smf_16 and would open up a whole new universe of bridge creations! This is why I'd like to ask someone to do this for me or explain to me (step by step) how to do so. Chers!

Hello mayors- I am building a central city that will feed out to 16 small cities, and I have hit a snag. Due to the symmetry I am going for, I need to run monorail through the medians of my avenues. Am I missing this piece in NAM somewhere or does it not exist?

Help with diagonal Maxis avenue to NAM avenue transition
jose_olegs posted a topic in NAM & Transit Networks
I'm building the downtown area of my city, and ofc I wanted to break from the grid style of building by laying out diagonal roads. But for the life of me I cant seem to figure out how to connect a transition from the diagonal NAM 4-lane avenue to the Maxis avenue. Diagonal roads are still so tricky for me to work with haha. Does anyone know how to connect these two roads? -
Hi again, everyone. The only way I've discovered to connect regular el rail to rail over road is to have a corner road piece turn out; obviously at that point the rail over road ends and there's just el rail, but it's actually a pretty ingenious solution. If any one has others I'd love to hear. The real issue is el rail over avenue: are there any stations for it? I love the depth of options on the NAM and I am loving especially the beautifully modded Madison Wells station. Thank you!!

Hello guys, I hope you can help me figure out how to solve the situation I am encountering regarding road and avenue crossings since I am using newer versions of NAM. I am currently using version 44 or 45 of the NAM, I'm not totally sure what specific version it is, but I am pretty sure it is one of those two. The issue that I am facing is in relation to avenue and road cross, as you can see in the picture number [1], no textures at road crossings. Pic [2] and pic [3] shows how it used to look in the previous versions of NAM that I was using. I have installed NAM again several times, I have checked my Mods, but I am not able to find the method to bring those textures back. Could someone please help me to identify or clarify this situation? Many thanks in advance guys

Removing zigzag sidewalk effect on diagonal avenue?
jonnyquest posted a topic in SimCity 4 General Discussion
I'm about to pull my hair out over this! So I've got a diagonal avenue in one of my cities. At some point some development took place on one end of the avenue and the sidewalk texture appeared in this ugly zigzag pattern: I tried using sidewalk filler pieces to even out the pattern (this lot specifically)... but after plopping down several of them, the sidewalk texture of the avenue changed back to grass! Has anyone successfully fixed this issue? I'd really prefer for the avenue to just have a simple grass texture, but I'd also settle for sidewalk filler pieces that don't somehow revert the avenue back to grass. I swear I'm about to give up on this game, every so often I get sucked back into it and end up eventually giving up because of obnoxious quirks like this.. -
Weird problem with avenues changing texture

Hello I have started to use underpass recently, so traffic doesn't stop when a train passes. I wonder how can i make sure the roads and avenues are actually connected underneath the ground? in Cities Skylines player actually need to build roads and avenues to make sure they are actually connected underground, just like how we build metros tunnels in SimCity 4. btw, i have another question, which graphic setting should i let the game run on? i'm currently letting the game run on DirectX, because i saw someone on YouTube saying that Direct X will allow the game to use the most out of a system, especially for computers with high-end hardware. but i also see people saying that SimCity 4 should be run on Software. Thanks.

I have a weird issue...in my region I had a road crossing a small stream. After awhile the road reached capacity and ol' Jamal was yelling at me. I upgraded the road to an Avenue, now no traffic is crossing said bridge and the entire island the bridge was supporting is showing no job zots. I demolished the avenue bridge and rebuilt it, and for about a month traffic was crossing it fine, but then "BAM!" something happened and the traffic stopped crossing the bridge again...noticed when my population dropped from around 10k down to 7k...now my little island is just a bunch of abandoned homes. Any idea what would cause this?

Hi! I have a problem with the tram: residential or commercial areas do not connect with the tram on avenue. Can anybody help me? Thanks!

When I try to build a small road roundabout in the middle of an avenue intersection, it reverts back to four road intersections as soon as I drag the OWR connections to the last corner. A small roundabout like this would be really cool to be able to do in an avenue intersection; could it be built as ploppable piece rather than draggable if draggable isn't possible?
