  2. Hello! Maybe my topic is not a new, and there is a lot of information in this website, but anyway I have decided to create a new topic because I tired of seeking any of interested information =) And an information can be updated from year to year, because SimCity4 is the eternal game. I tried to find an instruction at Youtube and in the Internet about how can a build for example 6x6 avenue which can connect to neighbour cities but I can't do it in the game. I also interested how can I make elevated or underground train rails? I have only found how to build an elevated roads, pushing Tab. I am going to build an underground subway and elevated monirail systems, but I am interested if addons has for example underground subway/monorail stations length of 8 cars, and if this length has an elevated monorail station? I think that standart 3 car stations can be too small, and I only see the exit is to build 2 stations near for having an illusion like 3car station *2 = one 8 car station (3 + 3 and + 2 rail segments). And if for example, subway has 8 car length station, can I use only the standart subway underground entrances as a pedestrian entrances (theoretically), of addons can have some of human entrances/vestubules which I could connect to road intersections? Thank you!
  3. Part 2 - Megacity Ahead

PART 2 - Megacity Ahead Sorry for the fast pace... Maybe because I redo the city again since it doesn't grow. So far, so good hahahahah! Suggestions/comments? I'm so glad to hear it from you!! ~CalvinB
  4. So I built a 15m elevated avenue over a ground highway, and I want to create an onramp to connect the two road systems. Is that possible?

  6. New, here, new to modding Cities Skylines. I tried to create a new type of avenue but it did not work. I wanted a centre median for tram stops, a dedicated tram lane, two traffic lanes, a dedicated bicycle lane, and a sidewalk with trees. I definitely did not get the bike lanes but the bike lane text shows up on the sidewalk I uploaded what I did to Steam. I'm not sure how else to show what I did/did not do… Any helpful suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Yell at me if I forgot to remove the props I was playing around with.
  7. Good day all, I just want to ask simple question. How to uniform all lightpole in avenue's median? As we know in several areas ($/$$/$$$), the lightpole won't appear/appear in different style. In my case, I use Uniform Street Light mod. Unfortunately, in several areas the lightpole on avenue's median didn't appear So, any idea to make the lightpole become uniform?thanks in advance guys
  8. When trying to place a Tool Booth in an avenue connecting two cities, I got this glitch. So I tested it again in a road bit and a bit of avenue and they showed OK. But in the connecting avenue, nothing doing. I went to another city and tried in another avenue, and same glitch.
  9. Exactly what the title says. The game gives you the option to build a "large avenue with grass" or a "large avenue with bus lanes", but I don't see what the point of these are. We already have four-lane roads with those features, which possess the same capacity and speed limit. Are the avenues completely redundant or am I missing something?
  10. Version 1.0.0

Eighth Avenue Place East Tower from Calgary, Canada. 3x5, 5x3 ploppable and growable. This was originally just a test export. But since the 3dsmax files have become corrupt, I can no longer finish the model. So, you'll notice details about the building a different and a few incomplete things here and there. Just thought I'd upload it as is rather than it go to the graveyard. Oh well! No dependencies. Enjoy!

  20. Hey guys, I recently installed the NAM v35, and I thought I should bring this to the NAM team's attention. The regular concrete avenue bridge (no slope needed for approach, high enough for water traffic) has disappeared completely from the game. It appears invisible, and when I went to replace it, it kept saying the terrain was not feasible for bridge placement. That being said, this bridge still appears for the standard road network. Will this be fixed in an update? Thanks.
  21. Welcome back to Petal, today we are exploring to the major shopping area, west of the roundabout full of some of the best shopping in the area. Home of some of the large box stores, grocery stores, and restaurants , such as Walmart, Kohl's, Target, Winn-Dixie, Starbucks, and more! So let's hop in our cars, and drive to the latest place to shop in the Parish! As we start off; we start at the roundabout, where we will take the western way to the shopping, and more! Starting with a Winn-Dixie, Best Buy, and a McDonald's, the Winn-Dixie gives this town the southern feel that we preserve; and with the low, low prices; Keep the people happy with the freshest produce and meat, while across the street you can go buy that new computer to play Simcity 4! Going a bit more west, you come to the only Holiday Inn in the city; the original Holiday Inn was torn down in 1993 to build this; and the original was built in the 1960s with one of those big Great Signs of Holiday Inn, now it's a modern lodging area to provide all with comfortable lodging, and attempt to compete against the hotels in downtown like Holiday Park, and the other hotels on this part of the avenue. As well, is a simple Chevrolet dealership, with new cars and great service; the Petal Chevrolet dealership which has been in business since 1928, will service you till your happy! Like any other city, Walmart's store here is always packed, and with everything you need in a modern Walmart; that replaced the original one in 2015, it as well features Subway inside for a perfect stop for a sub, while shopping for your groceries, clothes, or anything really! Of course, there is non-shopping to; we have a Chuck E Cheese's and a Starbucks near the Holiday Inn, with a Rite Aid pharmacy, all in one intersection! There also, is a old Motorola office building for Louisiana, Mississippi, Arkansas, and the Alabama region to provide quick customer service and offices for those in the company or buying their products. Don't like Walmart? There is a Kohl's near the Days Inn and the Hampton Inn, to get you your discount clothing. Or if you want to go to the end of the shopping experience, is a Sam's Club, Lowe's or a Target. Notice the farms, and railroad; tells you the sense and the fast transition from city-suburb, to farms and rural. It really is a unique sight to see, and a characteristic of the city. Right off the avenue, sits a strip mall with a Arby's, Dollar General, and other small stores and a Home Depot, right in the suburban heart but not even a minute away from the avenue. To give you the sense of the shopping area's size, we couldn't even cover it in one photo from the end at the Roundabout! Show's how big it really is! We will see you next time here at Saint Clements Parish!
