    This one is a… reimagining of what is, I believe, the very first lot KOSC uploaded. He has since gone on to ever grandioser things, which is encouraging for us noobies (see his content at : https://community.simtropolis.com/profile/33566-kingofsimcity/content/?type=downloads_file ) He has graciously accepted that I tinker with his lot – and helped me learn new things on the way (Menu order ! Menu icons !) Many thanks to him and to my other technical gurus, Rsc204, and Dreadnought. And especially Rivit, who lighted my SC4 world.     KOSC Presents: Industrial Revolution Mod - Logistic Filler Set 1 Introduction This is a set of ploppable filler lots for dirty, manufacturing, and hi-tech industry which are designed to add some logistic support to your industrial areas. The set was designed with IRM in mind and as such, utilizes matching bases and walls from that of the original releases. Package Overview This package contains a set of 15 filler lots: 5 for dirty, manufacturing and hi-tech industrial areas. All the lots have props that are highly randomized. Parked trailers and semi cabs will show up in many different sizes and forms and sometimes not even at all. Lot stats are designed to match the original IRM fillers as closely as possible. This includes positioning indicators to help you align the lots with respect to other things around it. Every lot is nearly neutral, with negligible amounts of pollution, no power/water consumption and are maintenance free. All lots are $5 to bulldoze and are extremely cheap to plop ($5 for I-D, $6 for I-M, $7 for I-HT). The lots are located in the landmarks menu and clumped together with the original filler sets. Install Instructions Drop the files in your My Documents/SimCity 4/Plugins folder. Dependencies Use with the Industrial Revolution Mod and the associated filler sets is highly recommended.     KOSC Presents: IndustryMania: Simgoober's Costco Distribution Center Introduction Costco Distribution Center is the 2nd release of my IndustryMania series. This is a set of re-lots and expansions for Simgoober's Costco Distribution Center. Package Overview These lots were designed for accommodating logistics and freight in which the original could not. The lot sizes have been expanded overall so there's more rooms for worker parking as well as freight to move around. Additionally, there is a new super distribution center that essentially doubles the available warehouse space in an attempt to emulate the massive, massive distribution centers in real life. These gigantic lots boasts expansive spaces for trucks to move about, as well as a plethora of stalls for trucks and cargo alike. Included in the following package is a set of custom base textures and 5 growable I-M lots: 3 for the super variant and 2 for the regular. There are IRM friendly versions for each of the centers. If you desire to plop the lots, use the buildingPlop cheat and look for the exemplar "KOSC_SG_CostcoDist_Super" for the super version, and "SG_CostcoDistribution_Grow" for the regular. (requires ExtraCheats.dll) General Stats The brand new Super Distribution Center lots will provide 750 I-M jobs. They are available in the following configuration: 15x12, 16x9, stage 1 7x10, stage 2 Additionally, there are two re-lots of the original (which are also based off the original descriptor). 7x6, stage 2 8x9, stage 1 Detailed stats and information can be found in the enclosed README. I've mostly been posting my lot updates in the "Show Us What You're Working On" thread but I figured I should probably lighten the spam over there and create my own thread . Since I've been posting so much stuff recently it's probably a good idea that I start consolidating all of them into one topic. PROJECTS Welcome to Suburban Office Mania! The core concept of these re-lots focuses on recreating the large sprawling business parks and office complexes that are scattered around suburban North America. Most of these complexes boasts several similar-looking buildings and can occupy several city blocks worth of space, mostly from parking alone. Major influences include several tech centers located around the US, including locations part of Silicon Valley, Irvine, and Denver Tech Center. ITS Office Parks Here I'll be mostly tackling a lot of Ill Tonkso's old mid-rise office buildings, and converting them for suburban usage either in the form of multi-building complexes or larger lots for the building.     KOSC Presents: Bobbo662's Dell Plant Introduction Dell Plant is the 1st lot release from my IndustryMania series. This is a re-lot of Bobbo662's Dell Plant building done at the request of @tariely. Package Overview This building was lotted to fit somewhere between I-M and I-HT. The original lot was expanded somewhat to better accommodate the trucks in the rear section and the front-facing side of the complex has been drastically enhanced, giving it a bit of high-wealth/I-HT flair. Included in the following package is a single I-M Anchor growable. If you desire to plop the growables, use the buildingPlop cheat and look for the exemplar "b62_Dell_Plant_new" (requires ExtraCheats.dll) General Stats The included growable lot will provide 1342 I-M jobs. The lot sits on a giant 13x13 plot and is a stage 2 that only grows on high density. Detailed stats and information can be found in the enclosed README.     KOSC presents: SuperSHK MEGA Parking Textures Introduction Take parking lots to the next level! SuperSHK MEGA Textures is the backbone of my Superparking Project, and combines the original Volume 1 alongside the newly complete Volume 2 set. This MEGA set combines both for the ultimate parking lot texture resource for SC4. Overview This combined set contains at total of 1281 overlay textures (352 from Vol 1). Volume 2 contains a mind-boggling 929 new overlay textures. This set focus on expanding the core aspects of Volume 1 while adding some rather ridiculous new options. As with before, many of the new textures influences were found primarily from around North America's tech centers including Overland Park, Denver Tech Corridor, Silicon Valley, and Irvine. Additionally, some other inspiration came from various locations around the UK, including Portsmouth - these were largely responsible for my designing of a bunch of UK-style road markings. As it is now officially part of this combined set, SuperSHK Parking Textures Vol. 1 is now obsolete! This set retains every single texture from volume 1 and provides some overall enhancements to a large amount of them, including the following: Smoother curves Alignment fixes Smoothing and resizing of existing road markings to maintain consistency Furthermore, the "Extra" textures included with both modular sets are also no longer necessary. To aid you in cleaning any leftover old stuff, there is a Cleanitol file included. You may also refer to it for manual deletion as well. Details These textures are broken into 8 DATs. The included resource guide offers more detailed explanations. DAT 1 - Ortho: Combines a ton of new pieces with the original Ortho set. Deals mostly with orthogonal parking and associated transitions. DAT 2 - Islands, Paths & Curbs: Combines the original set of Islands & Curbs with Paths (excluding markings). Adds many brand new curb pieces and transitions from various different parking types. DAT 3 - Diagonals: Combines the original set of Diagonal with new ones. Adds islands, offset diagonals and more orthogonal transitions. DAT 4 - Markings: Contains road marking goodness! Highlights include more block-end stop markings, pathing, and an entire section of UK-specific ones. Also comes with a way to transform standard parking spaces into "boxed" ones. DAT 5 - D-Types: Contains significant support of the original SHK diagonal-oriented spaces. Includes a full complement of transitions, curbs and some bonus special pieces including handicapped spots and an alternate style. DAT 6 - Combo Pieces: Adds an enhanced set of standard parking and curb textures with sidewalks and grass. DAT 7 - Miscellaneous: Includes some additional pieces that didn't quite belong elsewhere like parking-to-path transitions and S-curves. DAT 8 - Alternate Style: Adds an alternate orthogonal parking style in two colors. For Lotters Included is a resource guide containing a general breakdown of the set as well as a sample lot (found in the parks menu) and layout examples. There are also PIM-X groups included, for better organization and some time saving while digging through this massive set! Install Instructions Drop the files in your My Documents/SimCity 4/Plugins folder. These should show up under the overlay texture section in the lot editor and PIM-X. Lotters, copy the contents of PIMXGroups.txt into your groups.ini file located in the PIM-X install directory. Dependencies None. This set will serve as a future dependency for my lots. While it is technically a standalone texture pack, SHK Parking Pack is very, very highly recommended to take full advantage. Credit to shokthrpy for the original set, which served as the template for me. It wouldn’t have been possible to create this without it!     KOSC presents: Maxis Mansion Overhaul - Extension Set Introduction Ah, Maxis mansions... err... wait a minute! This is the long overdue expansion pack for my Maxis Mansion Overhaul mod, which was released several eons ago. This set expands the original mod by taking advantage of new lot sizes, climate variation, and the strength of the individual models themselves to add further variation in your affluent areas. Package Overview This set contains a total of 33 lots. Some of the new features include: climate variation: The original was purely focused on seasonal vegetation, and nothing more. This set varies that up by introducing "warmer" and "colder" lots, which can contain anything from tropical palm trees to spruces. individual lots: Some models, especially the larger palazzo variants, don't function very well in a family due to the variation of sizes. These have been lotted individually and each have their own flair and unique design (mostly). new general lot sizes: 2x4 and 3x5 sizes are available for a few of the mansion families, adding even more shapes and sizes. mayor's mansion: The tiny mayor's house reward now joins the fray as a growable, in 3 distinct variations. General Stats The Mayor's House is the only new building and has a capacity of 10 R$$$ sims. It is available in the following lot configurations: 1 3x3 front, stage 1 2 2x3 front, stage 2 The rest of the mansions use the original descriptors and as such, have their stats untouched. Consult the README or view the screenshots for a more detailed breakdown of the lot stats. Install Instructions Drop the files in your My Documents/SimCity 4/Plugins folder.     KOSC Presents: IndustryMania - Trucking Essentials Introduction Do you want to recreate a large distribution center with ample truck parking space of all angles and populate them with tons of random trailers from different freight and logistic companies? This essentials package, which is the prelude to my upcoming IndustryMania re-lot series, provides a set of custom truck parking textures and prop families for @MushyMushy's HD North American trucks which will allow you to do just that. Package Overview This package contains a set of 38 unique overlay textures, offered in either white or yellow paint for a total of 76. Additionally, there are 36 prop families that cover all of the props included in the original trailers and semi cab sets. Additional details are in the enclosed README. Install Instructions Drop the files in your My Documents/SimCity 4/Plugins folder. Note that the prop families DAT supersedes the original props' .sc4desc files. It is recommended that you relocate or remove the original from your plugins folder to avoid potential conflict. Dependencies The textures are standalone and will not require any dependencies.     KOSC Presents: Diego Del Llano Growables - 2017 Pack One Introduction This is set of growable, high-density lots made from Diego Del Llano's BATs that were released in 2017. The objective of this set is to provide growable alternatives to the ploppable landmarks in the original release for a more traditional gaming experience. While ploppable are amazing in their own right, it doesn't quite allow for one to experience the feeling of zoning a plot and having that shiny new tower pop up. Package Overview 4/14 IMPORTANT NOTE - this file currently only works with the DarkNite versions, and NOT MaxisNite - an update will be rolled out soon to accomodate the MaxisNite buildings Included in the following package are a set of growables for all Diego Del Llano's 2017 releases (excluding the Loop Postal Station building in the Federal Center Chicago set). A couple of the buildings have different occupant versions to satisfy different demand groups. There are TWO versions of the package you can download: Vanilla and CAM. The vanilla version has all of the larger buildings capped at stage 8, with capacities that do not exceed 7500. For those that use the Colossus Addon Mod, the larger buildings extend all the way up to stage 15 and boast much higher capacities, up to around 11000. If you desire to plop the growables, use the buildingPlop cheat and look for exemplars starting at DiegoDL_ (requires ExtraCheats.dll). General Stats All stats were generated with PIM-X. Vanilla versions differ only in growth stage and maximum capacity tweaks (for buildings that exceeded 7000 by default). SuperSHK is back with a plus and a whole assortment of FA3-aligned textures for you to play with. Overview This set contains at total of 482 new overlay textures. SuperSHK+ takes the original set and adds quite a bit of additional support for FA3 angled pathways. Additionally, there are a host of extra textures included meant to patch some missing areas from the first set. Details These textures are broken into 4 DATs. The included resource guide offers a slightly more detailed look at the different texture options offered here. DAT 1 - Curbs: Contains an assortment of FA3 aligned curb pieces and connectors. DAT 2 - Parking Transitions: Contains transitions and intersections between different parking types with FA3 curbs. DAT 3 - Pseudo-FA3 (PFA3): Contains a set of FA3 aligned orthogonal parking spaces and a few basic transitions. DAT 4 - Extras: Adds medians and additional support for S-Curves from the original set. This is a set of re-lots for Simgoober's classic Costco Retail BAT aimed at expanding the retail location to include more than just the club warehouse. Package Overview These lots are redone to better coincide with their real-life counterparts and feature things like the food court, auto center and gas station. A set of custom gas station textures was created to better emulate the road markings found in actual Costco locations across the United States. Included in the following package are a set of custom textures and 4 lots: 3 CS$$ growables and 1 CS$$ ploppable landmark with jobs. The ploppable landmark only utilizes one of the 3 possible growable layouts.     SP DAMN Introduction This is a collection of alternative menus using Daeley's Advanced Menu Navigator (DAMN) for my Superparking Modular Parking Lot series. Version 1.2 includes support for the Base Set, Diagonal Expansion Set, Extension Set & Addon Pack 1. Future updates will roll out support for newer expansions when possible. Package Overview Update 1.2: The base and diagonal set individual menus have been depreciated in favor of the combined menu. For users that want the individual menus still, you may download them by viewing the previous versions below. There is one package included - this contains menus for every single set released up until this point. Inside you will find two folders, Superparking and zzzzzz_DAMN_Hidden. Superparking contains all the menus, while the hidden folder hides the existing menu icons in the parks/misc trans menu. Install Instructions Drop the Superparking folder inside your DAMN/Root within the SimCity 4 install directory Plugins folder (not documents).     KOSC Presents: RetailMania - Simgoober's Super Shopping Center #1 Introduction Super Shopping Center #1 is the 2nd release from my RetailMania series and the first in a long line of classic Simgoober re-lots. This set of lots is based on Simgoober's original Super Center 2 strip mall complex and enhances the original through two principles: breaking up the original buildings into individual lots for growing as well as offering several gigantic new ploppable complexes in varying configurations. Package Overview The original strip mall complex has been made bigger, badder and massively more detailed than before. While the original came in two versions (18x6, 18x7), the lot layout was pretty straightforward and only differed in an additional row of parking space. This set kicks this up a notch and comes in three very distinct (and large) ploppable versions. Furthermore, each individual building also has a small footprint growable that is more suited for urban use. Included in the following package are a total of 6 lots: 3 CS$$ growables and ploppables. Two of the ploppables use all three buildings while the last complex is a smaller one that only utilizes two. All ploppables are transit enabled.     KOSC presents: Maxis Mansion Overhaul Introduction Ah, Maxis mansions. In the early days, it was one of the first signs of a flourishing city. If you had a few of these large plots sprout up in your neighborhoods it often meant that your city was growing well! However, the fact remains that throughout the years, improvement with custom content and detail in general have left the original Maxis lots in the dust. One of the biggest problems with the vanilla lots is they often contained vast amounts of well...nothing! There's some occasional shrubbery and a pool here and there, but for the most part, the lots are grossly under-detailed. Furthermore, the tendency for these larger lots to sprout up in the midst of your nice R$$ neighborhoods meant that your detail level takes a pretty significant hit! Pretty odd considering the richest of Sims could easily take advantage of the vast property spaces that they have. Taking inspiration @T Wrecks' fantastic Industrial Revolution Mod and more recently @Manuel-ito's Maxis Renewal, I present to you Maxis Mansion Overhaul: A full set of override lots that replaces all default Maxis mansion lots. This is also including some of their larger medium-density counterparts. Package Overview This set contains a grand total of 60 lots. These are all broken down according to the categories that Maxis determined: 18 "A Class", 18 "B Class", 18 "C Class", 3 "D Class" and 3 "E Class" mansions. These re-lots fundamentally change the original mansions in the following ways. better realism and detail: gated homes, larger driveways, and much more flora (fully seasonal). all lawns are not made equal: You may find patches of wildflowers, dirt, or even poorly watered grass in these lots. No one has time to maintain perfect grass in those corners! better slope support: many of the original lots had that ugly full lot foundation at certain slopes. These are more friendly overall but some discretion is still required as the tennis courts are model-based. the rich get richer: the largest lots boast private tennis courts (all kinds of angles), massive driveways, huge pools and gardens. asymmetric lot design: not every yard has to come in a square. Some lots are enclosed with angled hedges and have open space for a better blend between the lot and the wild. all kinds of pavement: gone are the days of every lot having bright and pearly tiling. Now you can have everything from dark brick to different colored stones. There are a few things to keep in mind when using this set. Read the following section carefully. There are two different packages included with this lot, the OVERRIDE version and the STANDALONE version. The standalone is for those who prefer to not disrupt lots in their developed cities. This is also suitable for people that use Maxis blockers and only want to see the mansions (and nothing else). The override set is recommended if you don't care about bulldozing acres of existing Maxis mansions or if you're starting a fresh region or city. If you're using other mods like CAM or Maxis blockers that modify the original mansion exemplars as well, make sure to load this override set last. Alternatively, you can look tweak those files with Reader. Make sure to find exemplars starting with instance ID: 30000710 and ending at 300008f1. Simply deleting those will remove any potential block on these lots. For those of you that downloaded my Maxis Mansion Facelift lot for the Facelift challenge, that lot is now obsolete. General Stats All lots boast the same dimensions, growth stage, and road orientation as their original counterparts. Install Instructions Drop the files in your My Documents/SimCity 4/Plugins folder. The lot was redone in a Southern California theme with giant fan palms lining each parking block. More variations will eventually be available once this building has been fully integrated into my Retail Mania (ReM) series. This massive shopping center takes advantage of the extra space with copious parking space, including several accessibility sections. Improvements over the original include stops, crosswalks and a massive extended rear parking section. Package Overview The revamped Maxis small mansion boasts an exceedingly large amount of front driveway, including a fountain roundabout to show your neighbor that indeed, your place is cooler than theirs! The backyard contains ample patio and lawn space, a private tennis court as well as a pond with a gazebo. Thick clumps of trees also provide plenty of shade space during those hot summer months. Included in the following package is a single growable 4x6. This lot uses the Maxis "16x20" mansions as the building family so you may grow any one of the different color/tileset variations.     KOSC presents: SuperParking Modular Parking – Base Set Introduction It’s been a long time coming, but it’s finally here! This is the 1st part of my SuperParking modular parking series, which is aimed towards creating even more realistic and crazy parking derivatives from the original SHK Parking Pack. This is the base set, which contains all the essentials for making orthogonal oriented parking lots, junctions, and more. Package Overview There are two different packages available for download: one for Right-hand Drive and Left-hand Drive. Choose one. The set contains a set of 49 lots. There are 7 functional “parking garage” pieces, with Transit Enabled connections which are located in the Misc Transportation menu, and 42 cosmetic pieces located near the top of the Parks menu. All of the menus are grouped and color coded according to the specific type of parking, ranging from A to D type. These are broken down in the included readme. For those that prefer less cluttered menus, there's DAMN Support for these. KOSC has uploaded a Do-it-yourself kit for making totally custom variants, please see this thread for full details and a link to the repository for use with GoFSH texture automation: Coming Soon: More sidewalk options. Installation Unlike the original mod, these have been re-packaged into installers. This just makes installation way simpler and less prone to error, given the number of choices available (currently 24 different sets). By default they install into your TGN folder, since all varieties are based on TGN grasses. Included is a resource guide containing a general breakdown of the set as well as a sample lot (found in the parks menu) and layout examples. There are also PIM-X groups included, for better organization and some time saving while digging through this massive set! These included resources are installed (optionally), to the following folder: My Documents\SimCity 4\STEX_Downloads\KOSC SuperSHK Parking This is to avoid clutter in your plugins folder. Lotters, copy the contents of SSHK_PIMX_Groups.txt into your groups.ini file located in the PIM-X install directory. Note if you were using the previous release, this file supersedes the previous one named "PIMXGroups.txt".     KOSC presents: Office Park Series: Mattb325's Zurich Insurance Introduction This is a simple re-lot of Mattb325's excellent Zurich Insurance building with my "suburban office park" style. Package Overview A downtown mid-rise turned suburban office park centerpiece! Comes with a complementary "Z" shaped parking lot to satisfy the current primary tenant. Included in the following package is a single growable 7x9 lot. Building stats are based off the original descriptor file - this lot will NOT work without it. To plop the lot with ExtraCheats.dll, look for "mattb325" as the beginning of the exemplar name. Install Instructions Drop the file in your My Documents/SimCity 4/Plugins folder.
