Ploppable Conifer Woodlands, by Mattb325. --------------------------------------- In most of my images, you will see a lot of green space. Much of this green space is made from a few small lots that I created for myself years ago based on, and expanding, one of my favourite Park sets, the 'SFBT park set by Andreas' which was released about 15 years ago, but still holds up to this day for making large, unique and non-showy parkland spaces. I made these for myself years and years ago, as one of the things I often find with large parks is that have slightly 'wilder' areas and this simple 1x1 lot with a ton of prop families will give the wild look without repetition. If you rotate the lot while placing, you should really never see much repetition at all and could theoretically cover and entire map with it . While it fits in with the SFBT park series, being highly slope tolerant, it can also be used to fill tricky spots and elevation changes. I use it often and I have been asked for it on a number of occasions, so I thought I would package it up and release it. Thus, it is a bit of a take-it-or-leave-it lot. It is found in the park menu adjacent to the other SFBT park lots. While it will 'work' without the SFBT park set, you won't be able to query it without the SFBT essentials file as an absolute minimum. --------------------------------------- STATS PARK: Lot size : 1x1 Plop Cost: $ 23 Bulldoze Cost: $ 5 Pollution: -5 (Air)/ 0 (Water)/ 0 (Garbage ) Pollution Radius: 0/0/0 Park Effect: 30 over 15 tiles Landmark Effect: 20 over 10 tiles Monthly cost: $ 1 Power Consumed: 0 Mwh Water Consumed: 0 Gal/Month Occupant Group: Building: Civic; Park --------------------------------------- DEPENDENCIES: *BSC MEGA Props - CP Vol01.dat (https://www.sc4devotion.com/csxlex/lex_filedesc.php?lotGET=1180) *BSC Mega Props - CP Vol02.dat (https://www.sc4devotion.com/csxlex/lex_filedesc.php?lotGET=2790) *SFBT Park Set - https://community.simtropolis.com/files/file/13824-sfbt-park-set-by-andreas/ --------------------------------------- To install, simply unzip the contents of this file into your plugins folder.- 2 Comments

Hello, I'm getting stuck into creating prop families and so I've been properly setting up my ilives reader but I seem to have missed how to populate the "Name" column. I think I'm missing the "Building Prop Families" row but they all say "Unknown" I hope this is the the forum to post this, thanks! EDIT: Fixed it, in case anyone else has this same problem there is an .xml that Reader needs to be aware of in the Options menu. It should be in the SimCity game folder.

Let's imagine I made 3 different shapes of one species of trees. Could be almond trees just f.e. And now I have from each shape four seasonal stages - spring, summer, fall winter. Now - if II make prop families to make the shapes appear randomly and so I make 4 families for each season and now I put them together. Logically thinking - this shouldn't work. As for shape 1 spring second shape 2 summer could appear and so on - so they wouldn't change only by season but during the change of seasons also by shape. Question: is there a way to put seasonal props into families in a way always the stages belonging to one shape appear correctly? Or is there another trick to have them randomly in shape but all across the seasonal stages?

KOSC Presents: Logistics Essentials (Formerly IdM - Trucking Essentials) Introduction Do you want to recreate a large distribution center with ample truck parking space of all angles and populate them with tons of random trailers from different freight and logistic companies? If so, then you've come to the right place! Package Overview This package contains a set of 175 overlay textures, offered in either white or yellow (mostly) paint. There are 36 prop families for @MushyMushy's HD North American trucks and cabs, covering all bases and angles. Update 2.0 introduces 16 new prop families that cover some of the more irregular angles of @Angry Mozart's cabs. Additional details are in the enclosed README. Install Instructions Drop the file in your My Documents/SimCity 4/Plugins folder. It is highly recommended to load this file last, as the original prop descriptor files are overridden here. Failure to do so might result in the families not loading properly in-game. Obsolete Files The following files are made obsolete as of version 2.0. Please remove these files from your Plugins folder, or use the included Cleanitol file with BSC Cleanitol. IdM_TruckingEssentials_MM_PropFamilies.dat KOSC_IdM_TruckEssentials_Textures.dat KOSC_TruckParking_SHKBases.dat (found in Costco Super Distribution Center) Dependencies The textures are standalone and will not require any dependencies. However, the prop families will not function properly without the trucks from the following: Props HD North American 40ft Semi Trailers Vol. 1 HD North American 53ft Semi Trailers Vol. 1 HD North American Semi Truck Cabs Vol. 1 Trucks & Trailers Prop Pack Credit goes to MushyMushy and Angry Mozart for the wonderful set of trailers and semis! Enjoy!- 3 Comments

English This is a dependency pack currently containing some prop families, it groups several props found in the LBT Mega Prop Pack. I will be using this upload as a dependency for my next releases. I will also be adding some prop fixes, more families and maybe textures in the future, so be sure to check for updated versions! Included in this download is a "Dev Files" folder for those who want to use this pack for their lots: This folder contains Prop Family names for easily identifying the families in the Lot Editor and PIM-X. There's also a couple of test lots showcasing all the props i grouped in this pack. This pack does not contain any new props, only new instances of already existing props, it also doesn't contain any overrides of already existing files, so you don't have to worry about bulldozing anything in-game. For further clarification you can refer to the "Technicalities" section below. Dependencies Make sure you download and install these files to your Plugins folder. If you don't, you'll get brown boxes instead of props. LBT Mega Prop Pack vol. 01 Yes, this dependency needs a dependency; the files contained in this download are not redundant, however. To understand why you can refer to the "Technicalities" section below. Technicalities This pack contains new prop exemplars made out of existing prop models. For any model made for SC4 (be it vanilla or custom made) there can be multiple different instances (called exemplars), these exemplars can all have different properties but they all refer to the same model; this is why you can have a building model serve as both Commercial offices and as a static Landmark. The props included here have properties different from the original ones but link to the same models, one of such properties is, for example, belonging to a prop family. Thus, the original packs linked as dependencies do not include my prop families, or any of my modifications or fixes; conversely, my pack does not include any different prop models, only different prop instances. Notes You can use this pack for your own lots if you wish, just make sure link to this pack as a dependency, along with any of the cascading dependencies. I did not make any of the models, and do not claim any credit for them, all credit goes to the authors of the original packs. If you run into any issues , want to see upcoming updates, or other things I'm working on, pay a visit to my lot thread in Simtropolis, you can also PM me here @Edvarz. Thanks for your download and enjoy! Español- 4 Reviews

Hello. I have some questions on modding props, so I'll put them all on the same thread. This is the pack I'm planning to mod. And this post illustrates the props I want to mod. EDIT: After further delving into the LBT Mega Pack and Debussyman's Mega Pack I decided to override the original descriptors so that I could fix some of the props' properties. But I would still like to know what can I do with cohort files. 3. Some of the models seem to have been rendered a bit off-centre (this, I've found, is a common problem with LBT models) Since these are car cluster families, any prop that doesn't line up will stand out of the designated parking slots and invade other spaces when it shows. I understand the Model Tweaker can fix this, but, will the quality of the model be affected too much? These weren't rendered in HD, so... EDIT: Extra question, I would like to export the fixed models to an override file, but since the original is a .dat file, the Reader doesn't show .SC4Model files only a huge bunch of S3D and FSH files. How do I group all of a model's files together so that I can paste them in a new DAT? If any questions are superfluous I'll gladly edit them out. Thanks a lot!

Version 13.1 This small pack contains a handful of miscellaneous B62 props as well as my custom textures and prop families. It serves as a requirement for some of my uploads. Anyone may use any of the props, families, or textures on whatever projects you want, but please, refer to this file as a dependency. If you need to edit any of the attributes to fit your project, feel free to do do. Credit is not strictly required, but it'd be great if you would do so. For comments/feedback/critique/praise or just to see what's coming up next, visit my lot thread over at Simpeg here (may it rest in peace...), or at Simtropolis here. Note for lot creators: If you use some of my prop families, note that these do reference other prop packs that would require these packs listed as dependencies on your lots. Refer to the following table for a breakdown by family.- 8 Comments
