  1. hi! ..i would like to ask the following.... i have installed CAM and Industrial Revolution Mod - Base Pack (Maxis Lots) By T Wrecks using sc4pac , and so i want to ask if that is enough and nothing else needed? By that i mean Industrial Revolution Mod - Base Pack (Maxis Lots) By T Wrecks ver 1.1 and Industrial Revolution Mod - CAM Version By Shadowstrike ver 1.0 should i download them also ? also i had download manually the IRM By Wrecks in the past and still exist into my plugin folder ...should i delete that manually installed folder that still exist in my plugin without any problem? Thanx
  2. I'm encountering a strange situation. I just started a new city tile and created a small village. I have a small commercial zone, some industry, as well as a mall farm. Everything is fine, except that residential buildings are not evolving. Of course water and power are available, as is a fire and police department. I'm using CAM, IRM (Industrial Revolution Mod) and the Industry Job Quadrupler.
  3. I just installed the CAM and following the IRM with the IRM-CAM addon. As I'm using it with an already developed city, I started to bulldoze/dezone the current industrial buidlings in order to get the IRM lots growing. Which worked out fine, but for some lots, I get brown boxes. I double checked the dependencies, but am sure I have everything installed (because all of them but one are part of the SC4D LEX Legacy - BSC Common Dependencies Pack). So far, I'm having brown boxes with the following lots: jes_AltmanMillerMachineShop_90_HD Mixing Tanks Cooling Tower I already checked out the first lot in the STEX and added all the dependencies listed there, but to no avail. So I'm rather clueless how to get rid of these boxes.

  14. Version 1.1

    1,732 Downloads

1 - INTRODUCTION/OVERVIEW This package contains a version of @T Wrecks's Industrial Revolution Mod (IRM) Expansions and Addons which are designed to work with the Colossus Addon Mod (CAM). When used alongside @Shadowstrike's Industrial Revolution Mod - CAM Version, all IRM lots released to date (including Expansions, Addons, and W2W Expansions) are compatible with CAM. Please consult the download page for the original Industrial Revolution Mod for T Wrecks' excellently written description of what the IRM is, and the dependencies required for it to run (obviously CAM is also needed for this version of the mod to work). In short, the IRM includes T Wrecks' beautiful relot of all the original Maxis industrial lots, and separates dirty/traditional industries (which only develop on medium-density industrial zones) from modern/high-tech industries (which only develop on high-density industrial zones). In addition to the original IRM option of using lots with or without toroca's Industrial Jobs Quadrupler, Shadowstrike's IRM CAM mod includes two additional options: Version A: Preserves T Wrecks' distribution of I-M lots between medium-density and high-density industrial zones, on the basis of appearance. Version B: Allocates all the I-HT lots to the high-density industrial zones and all the I-M (as well as the I-D) lots to the medium-density industrial zones Between the IRM Expansion lots, W2W Expansion lots, ID-Addon lots, and IM-Addon lots, 521 lots are included , and are allocated in the following way over growth stages 1-9: For more CAM-patible lots, follow the CAM Revival Project, and effort to provide high-quality CAMpatible lots for popular creators and buildings. 2 - USE Choose the version suitable to your play style and which matches the A|B version chosen from Shadowstrike's mod. The version you choose must be installed such that it loads after the CAM, because it's lots share the same IIDs as both the default Maxis industrial lots as well as their CAM counterparts. To do this, place it in a folder within your plugins folder which comes alphabetically after the CAM folder. Keeping the default folder structure of /IRM/Version A|B will satisfy this requirement. Each of these versions contains a series of subfolders dividing out the different IRM categories. Within the IRM Expansion and IRM W2W Expansion, you can pick and choose which buildings you want to include. Delete the folders for any buildings you do not want to include. Note that the quadrupled versions that were previously in this mod have been removed. The stats of the lots in this upload have been created with PIMX, which automatically makes them CAMpatible. A side effect of this is the stats out of PIMX are much higher than T Wreck's original stats, rendering use of a quadrupled version much less relevant. To easily determine if you have the correct dependencies run the provided Cleanitol script with the Cleanitol 2023 program. The script will scan the files you have installed in plugins and prompt you for any missing dependencies, while ignoring the required dependencies for any items you did not want to install and deleted in the previous step. IMPORTANT: Running this script with the old 2013 Cleanitol release will result in inaccurate results because this script uses new features that are not compatible with the 2013 Cleanitol release. If you no longer wish to use this download, proceed as follows: Bulldoze all industrial lots pertaining to this download Save all the cities and exit the game when you're done bulldozing Remove the associated files from your plugins folder Hint: Just to be sure, I recommend moving the undesired files somewhere else and doing some checks before you delete them permanently. This way, if it turns out you forgot to bulldoze something, you can add it back in temporarily until you're done. 3 - DEPENDENCIES It is HIGHLY recommended to run the provided Cleanitol script with Cleanitol 2023 to determine if you have the required dependencies. The list of dependencies is also provided within the readme. Because this is an aggregation of dozens of uploads, the dependency list is quite long. However, you may pick and choose which buildings you want to have which will limit this list. The provided Cleanitol script is "smart" and can pick up if you removed a specific building or lot and will no longer recommend its dependencies. All IRM Base Pack dependencies - T Wreck's Base Pack should not be used (because Shadowstrike's IRM CAM overrides these lots), but all of its dependencies are required. Industrial Revolution Mod - CAM Version - This includes CAM versions of all of the lots from the IRM Base Pack. While the lots in this mod will technically work without the IRM CAM Base Pack there is little reason to use this mod without it, and you may encounter unexpected behavior if used independently. IRM Expansions and Add-ons of your choosing. The readme details all of these buildings in-depth (pasting the table in here hideously broke the formatting on this page). For each of the packs included, only the *.sc4model file for the building is required. T Wrecks' original screenshots and readmes are included in this download. To remove these easily, run the Cleanitol script provided in SC4Cleanitol to remove all non-game items from your plugins folder (images, readmes, etc.). 4 - FINAL WORDS Credit to @T Wrecks for the IRM mod, @Shadowstrike for their CAM version of the IRM Base Pack, and @rsc204 for CAM versions of the IRM I-D and I-M Addons which were permitted to be included in this mod. For any issues or help or advice, drop me a message or make a post in my lot thread.
  15. Hello, having a bit of trouble getting this mod to work. I'm a big a fan of IRM, loving the way it looks and changing how industry works. I've wanted to change things up a bit since I'm rebuilding my plugins folders after a long hiatus. This time I wanted to give CAM a try after seeing this mod for IRM to make it work with CAM. I simply cannot get IRM to work while CAM is installed. Both of them will work just fine from what I can tell if I take either one out and try just one mod to make sure its working fine on its own. I've been trying use IRM Base Pack (so I can get those beautiful relots) with this CAM version of IRM and CAM. The load order doesn't seem to make any difference. I'm not really sure what else I can try aside from learning how to edit the files and somehow make them work together. Any advice if you have experience using this mod would be very much appreciated.
  16. I´m using both IRM and most of mattb325´s original lots in my cities: do I have to bulldoze the existing lots before installing these IRM modded versions? BTW: thx for these versions and the new uploads!
  17. So, I'm bringing this up, for a few reasons actually, but, I'm seriously wondering if maybe work on something like this should be done? First, I've already had an idea for something like this for a while, and been wanting to implement it, but, it's taken a bit of time trying to get many of the ideas together for it, and the key aspects, but, I've got quite a few notes, and if people are actually interested in this, I can open a new thread in the SC4 - Custom Content board. To add on to this, I've been coming across some rather interesting mods that I think would be great to have unified in the game. There's the big ones: CAM, NAM, SPAM, IRM, AMPS, and even DAMN. But, there's also some smaller ones, such as Paeng's Industrial Facelift mod, and some wonderful Maxis relots and updated lots (such as the Maxis Seasonal Lots). Of course, it's not just these either. Like, we've now got a couple OpenSC4 projects going, along with various other projects, such as the CAM Revival Project, which are great in my opinion. But, I'm thinking that we need to work on unifying everything. I know it's a lot to ask for, but, we're certainly seeing more players make requests of such things as having SPAM and CAM actually work together (among many other smaller requests). I myself am working on my own little project, which if I can get it done the way I'd like, would simply be a stepping stone to the bigger project that I've got in mind. And this leaves us with a couple of questions: Would it be a good idea to start this unification project? and (arguably the more important one) Would people be willing to shift their efforts on the mods they're currently on to help unify everything? Keep in mind a few things here: As mentioned before, I've got ideas for what can be done, and even how to solve some of the problems that'll likely plague this project NAM would very likely be the one exception to this unification project due to it's ongoing work, and of course due to how solid it is. I can't even begin to fathom the kind of work needed to get the NAM to conform to this project (it might be the other way to some extent) All work on current and active mods would not be dropped/ignored, but, shifted to work towards unifying everything. And I'm bringing this up, because I'm beginning to feel as though I don't really have much time to suggest this before we get past a point of major resistance, where most of the work towards these other mods will have been done, and that editing/adjusting/updating them would be more of a hassle, than if we caught it early on and began to guide everything and move it towards a common goal. And, I know it would be huge and ambitious, but I believe we can actually do it, because we've got so many people interested in the game currently, along with people joining mod teams and reviving older mods. Any feedback will be greatly appreciated. And, if we really do have the interest in doing this, I can set up a new thread going over the project idea, and going into detail about everything.
  18. Good morning all, Quick question about @T Wrecks IRM and specifically W2W, I am confused and hoping to get some clarification and couldn't find what I was looking for and/or confused about what I found and what I need. I have the IRM base pack installed, and some of the extension files. I like some of the W2W buildings and what they have, but don't want to install the W2W system (basically, I don't want a W2W city - I just want the factories designed for W2W). So, my question is: 1) Is this possible? 2) If so, do I need to install the W2W Basepack? 3) If yes, what W2W blocked do I install? ("IRM expansion blocker v1" or "IRM W2W Expansion Blocker v3)? Basically, what do I NEED to have to get the W2W factories outside of a W2W city? TIA
  19. Downloaded latest version of NAM and the game crashes 'cause of IRM mod. How do I make NAM compatible with IRM?
  20. Hello, Does this blocker Compatible with IRM?
  21. I started a new large city tile. I have both IRM and the industry quadrupler installed. The demand for D/M industry is over 4000 each but nothing grows? Ive tried lots of all sizes and nothing seems to work and I really dont want to nuke my city and start over.

Gardena Garden Tools by Tag_One 1 - INTRODUCTION/OVERVIEW Now here's a rather colourful one: The 10th upload in this series is Gardena Garden Tools by Tag_One. While the building features a totally unremarkable shoebox shape, it's the colour scheme that makes this one somewhat special. The yellow entrance door and loading doors and particularly the colourful stripes in the corner make it stand out from more generic industrial buildings. This IRM version contains two lots, a larger and rather detailed one with a driveway all around the building, employee parking and an outdoor storage area as well as smaller lot that's rather plain jane, but does feature a little artificial pond next to the entrance to hint at the purpose of the tools produced here: gardening. Since all Maxis lots contained in the IRM Base Pack could optionally be used with toroca's Industrial Jobs Quadrupler, this download is offered in two versions: a regular one for those who prefer the default job numbers, and a quadrupler-compatible version for those who prefer using the modified stats. The .sc4desc files for the regular version will look like this: IRM_[Filename].sc4desc The .sc4desc files for the quadrupler version will look like this: IRM_[Filename]_x4.sc4desc After downloading, simply delete the file of the version you don't want to use. If you leave both in your plugins, the quadrupler version will most probably override the default version. The default version of the building will provide 65 I-M jobs, the quadrupler version 260 I-M jobs. The following lots are included in this download: 5x5, Stage 2 6x6, Stage 2 For those of you who like to play with day and night view, the building used on this lot is compatible with the following night light mode(s): Maxis Night with gradual day/night cycle: YES Maxis Night with static day or night: YES DarkNite* with static day or night: YES *DarkNite requires SimFox' Day and Nite Modd (or a similar darkening mod) to be installed in your plugins. 2 - USE If you extract this archive to your root plugins folder, it should create a folder IRM\IRM Expansion\[NAME OF BAT], where [NAME OF BAT] represents the name of this download item. Within that folder, you will find all the game-relevant files and a sub-folder containing the HTML readme and some screenshot(s). If you no longer wish to use this download, proceed as follows: Bulldoze all lots pertaining to this download Save all the cities and exit the game when you're done bulldozing Remove the associated files from your plugins folder Hint: Just to be sure, I recommend moving the undesired files somewhere else and doing some checks before you delete them permanently. This way, if it turns out you forgot to bulldoze something, you can add it back in temporarily until you're done. 3 - DEPENDENCIES IRM Base Pack with all its dependencies - while these lots will technically work, they are meant to tie into the IRM. They may look out of place and show unexpected behaviour if used independently. Since this is an extension to the IRM, all the dependencies of the original pack still apply. If you have them in place, you can download every single growable IRM and IRM W2W lot I have ever made and will never have to download any additional packs for props and textures used on the lot. Gardena Garden Tools (v1.0) - you'll also need the original upload of the BAT to see the building(s). Only the .sc4model file is required. Medium Industrial Buildings by Tag_One 1 - INTRODUCTION/OVERVIEW While this set of lots may not be spectacular, it offers much variety thanks to the BAT family on it and is a useful filler. The ninth upload in this series is a package of Medium Industrial Buildings by Tag_One. All these buildings share the same general layout, but feature different colours and company names. Some of the walls are painted in interesting patterns, too. The general layout of the lot is also identical, but spiced up with lots of prop families and delivery trucks that will not appear on every lot. This package includes a narrow and a wide lot on which any of the BATs from this family of buildings can appear randomly. The default version of the building will provide 50 I-M jobs, the quadrupler version 200 I-M jobs. The following lots are included in this download: 3x6, Stage 3 4x6, Stage 3 For those of you who like to play with day and night view, the building used on this lot is compatible with the following night light mode(s): Maxis Night with gradual day/night cycle: YES Maxis Night with static day or night: YES DarkNite* with static day or night: YES *DarkNite requires SimFox' Day and Nite Modd (or a similar darkening mod) to be installed in your plugins. 2 - USE If you extract this archive to your root plugins folder, it should create a folder IRM\IRM Expansion\[NAME OF BAT], where [NAME OF BAT] represents the name of this download item. INDUSTRIAL REVOLUTION MOD Pluimers Insulation by Tag_One 1 - INTRODUCTION/OVERVIEW While we'll return to SimGoober, I'd like to continue the IRM uploads with a few buildings made by another great BAT artist. The eighth upload in this series is Pluimers Insulation by Tag_One. It's a pretty simple warehouse-style building with a small office annex and loading doors in the back and front. I like the rooftop skylights, the little entrance area and the modern no-frills look of this structure. Both lots are rather open, especially the longer one. On the wider lot, the building extends nearly up to the back, almost dividing the lot in two halves. Some modern trucks, partly at angled positions to the grid, underline the character of the building, add some detail and life, and help break the mostly rectangular layout of it all. The default version of the building will provide 48 I-M jobs, the quadrupler version 192 I-M jobs. The following lots are included in this download: 4x5, Stage 2 5x4, Stage 2 For those of you who like to play with day and night view, the building used on this lot is compatible with the following night light mode(s): Maxis Night with gradual day/night cycle: YES Maxis Night with static day or night: YES DarkNite* with static day or night: YES *DarkNite requires SimFox' Day and Nite Modd (or a similar darkening mod) to be installed in your plugins. 2 - USE If you extract this archive to your root plugins folder, it should create a folder IRM\IRM Expansion\[NAME OF BAT], where [NAME OF BAT] represents the name of this download item. INDUSTRIAL REVOLUTION MOD SG Fabrications by SimGoober 1 - INTRODUCTION/OVERVIEW So this was an odd one for me. I remember seeing it in one of those "Show us..." threads not too long ago, and although I've been around for almost 15 years now, the building struck me as totally unfamiliar. I was even more surprised when I learned that none other but SimGoober had made it. All the time, it had slipped under my radar! Finally I was able to dig it out and turn it into an IRM lot, so here we are: The seventh upload in this series is the elusive (for me at least) SG Fabrications by SimGoober. The building is quite a whopper and dwarfs the Maxis coal power plant, for example. Since one side contains BATted ground, it was quite the challenge to get building and lot to blend into one another without too obvious seams. A cool feature not uncommon with SimGoober BATs is the partly modeled interior that really comes to shine at night, when you can glimpse through the windows. The loading door is ridiculously huge as well - I wonder what they produce in there? The default version of the building will provide 95 I-M jobs, the quadrupler version 380 I-M jobs. The following lots are included in this download: 7x7, Stage 3 (2 different lots) For those of you who like to play with day and night view, the building used on this lot is compatible with the following night light mode(s): Maxis Night with gradual day/night cycle: YES Maxis Night with static day or night: YES DarkNite* with static day or night: YES *DarkNite requires SimFox' Day and Nite Modd (or a similar darkening mod) to be installed in your plugins. 2 - USE If you extract this archive to your root plugins folder, it should create a folder IRM\IRM Expansion\[NAME OF BAT], where [NAME OF BAT] represents the name of this download item.
