"The Alas Building is a residential and office tower, designed in the rationalist style, located in the San Nicolás neighborhood, in the City of Buenos Aires, Argentina. It was the tallest building in Buenos Aires from 1957 to 1994." Originally conceived as the ATLAS Building (Agrupación de Trabajadores Latinoamericanos Sindicalizados S.A.), and undertaken by the association of the same name whose president was Carlos Aloé, an official in the government of Juan Domingo Perón. During the Revolution, the building was expropriated and handed over to the Argentine Air Force, which completed it and allocated it for housing for personnel of various ranks. Additionally, the name was changed to "ALAS" (WINGS). In the central block of the building, there are nine apartments per floor, and originally, ALAS had its own supply store, as well as internal-use commercial spaces. Notice: 1.- The model presented here is an interpretation of the author. The measurements and size may vary from the original. 2.- The models are not exact replicas of the original building. 3.- This is a work of exploration and experimentation that Diego Del Llano wanted to share with the community of Simtropolis. Brief Introduction This pack contains mostly medium density w2w buildings based on RL buildings in the city of Buenos Aires, Argentina. These buildings look best in older downtown environments, just like the RL buildings. Basic Information - Lot sizes: 1x1, 1x2 (corner), 2x1 (corner) and 1x3 - Stages: 3 and 5 - Tileset: all Dependencies If you've downloaded my previous pack, then you should already have it: Notes I've included more versions for two buildings, namely "Viamonte" and "Realico" (see image above): - There is a R$$ version of "Viamonte" - There is a fire station version of "Realico" as well as a parking lot version, just like in RL. Don't want these extra versions? Simply delete unwanted folder. You can follow my work here. Enjoy!- 11 Comments

As you may have read on the title, the projet I'm thinking about, and indeed I already started, is the capital of the Country where I live; Buenos Aires, Argentina. I have downloaded the lastest region conforming the city itself, and I started with sections that can be done with universal things, like airports and docks, but my problem starts when talking about landmarks: I made a huge research around the main exchange sites but I didn't get too much. When I was loking around here, I saw the firsts steps of a CJ about Buenos Aires, but the "author" left it inconclued, Also, apart from the region, I got some landmarks, but they are not the main ones, and they are very few, so my main reason of being here is because I would like to know if any BATer or a BAT team would like to join this project, which from time to time would be published on a CJ. Those who accept will have all the rights to publish their BATs on the sites they want, and they will receive full credit for their work. I had this projet in mind since long ago, but I can't make it real alone, so I'm asking this to every person that reads this topic; if anyone wants to contibute with it, I will gratefully accept your help and give more information. -maybe lots of comments will include quotes like "why not you learn how to make BATs and do them?", and, sicerelly, I would do it, but I don't have the time, neither the patience, that making a BAT needs... that's why I'm asking you for help. Thanks for reading, jejejej oh and sorry for my bad english, "me not speak so well this language"

G'Day Simtropians, Today I wish to present a map requested courtesy of Cmdp123789 here at simtrop, Thanks mate. It is of Buenos Aires the capital of Argentina, also commonly known as Paris of the South. This is a real world map and measures 57.344km x 65.536km. It is terrain and scale accurate and is in .SC4m format. It requires one has Wouanagaine's mapper of terraformer installed to import it into SC4. The map is 16bit and was produced with dem data. A readme is included with links and instructions for free. I think that's all . Cheers- 11 Comments

This is a building based from a project in Buenos Aires, Argentina, Torres Mirabilia its 44 stories tall (200 meters aproximate) two twin towers in a single lot, the lot is highly detailed . This building its a grow lot, if you want this in your city you need to do a 6x5 medium residential terrain, then try to give it basic services (water, power, education security, etc) Installation: The installer should install the files into your Documents/SimCity 4/plugins/LBT/VictorGonzalez/TorresMirabilia Un-Installing: To un-install the files, simply delete every lot from this download in your cities and erase the files from the plugins folder afterwards. Dependencies: To ensure the proper functionality, make sure the files mentioned below are installed in the plugins folder. LBT Mega Prop Pack 1 LBT Texture Pack Vol 1 Fixed Sc4jeeks Parking Textures Staff Edit 11/14/2019: Fixed all obsolete or missing dependencies. (Note: Although the texture pack vol1 says it's obsolete, its successor does NOT work with this file. You MUST use the obsolete Texture Pack Vol 1, NOT the Mega Texture Pack with this file.) - CF- 20 Comments
