Hey there guys - I'm presenting you with a pack of 17 residential buildings. These 3-storeys buildings are very common here in Brazil - and I believe it would look good and match the environment of other tropical places around the world as well. They come in 5 different models with 3 to 5 color variations. Nightlights included. Dependencies: MS Motokloss 60s-70s Car Props As always: any criticism, reviews and problems, just write below or in my BAT thread. -
Due to violent protests against the president Miguel Hernández in San Lorenzo/Sucurocá D.C. we had to leave the capital for our own safety. We headed out to one of Grandoro's many rural towns, Villahermosa. Driving from the capital to here takes around 3 hours. Located between some mountains, in the Montes department, Villahermosa is a town in the middle of no where, almost. Life here is simple but there is no violence in the small village. You will see old ladys sitting outside their houses in mock-chairs and drinking coffee together. You will see farmer families go into the plaza to sell their harvest. And on every street you will hear music being played. Greenhouses outside Villahermosa. Here, flowers are farmed. The department of Montes is the main exporter of flowers in the country. Looks like the protests are over now, according to the news we just watched in a bar! Sadly many people were hurt. We don't know where to head out next, where should we go? To the coast? Or maybe to the remote island of Isla Chica? The capital? Y'all decide!

First view of San Lorenzo, capital of Grandoro.
gb901 posted a City Journal entry in República de Grandoro
The main plaza of the city, named "Plaza de la libertad" (Liberty square) by the Grandorians. On the center of the plaza, a statue of the famous independence heroine Candelaria Martínez, one of the leaders of the revolution against the spanish empire. In front of the plaza we have the main church of the city, Catedral de Nuestra Señora de la Concepción. Behind the plaza the former palace of the vice-kings is located. It is now used as the presidencial palace. The city of San Lorenzo (in Grandoro they call it Sucurocá which is the name of the tribe that lived here before the european conquest) was founded in 1521 by spanish conquistador Juan Guiterrez. It is located in a flat valley between two small mountain ranges. The estimated population in 2016 was 960,000 . More information about Grandoro will be up shortly..!- 3 Comments

I have very little experience with batting but I want to improve my batting skill and hopefully release some decent BATs in the near future. I cannot say right now how dedicated I'll be, but we shall see! I'm planning on modelling mostly low to medium density and low wealth buildings (C$ and R$) and possibly some medium wealth buildings later on. I'll try to model versatile buildings from major Latin American cities (but mostly from Lima and Santiago) so that they can fit in a 'general' or stereotypical latin american city. As you may know, many latin american cities share a lot of the same architecture but there are some differences nevertheless. I have two current projects for the moment: one 1x1 C$ W2W building and one 1x2 C$ W2W building. Both are based on real buildings located in Santiago, Chile (1x1 building and 1x2 building). The modelling is done(?) so now I have to apply the textures. I'm not aiming for exact replicas by the way. 1rst BAT: house and small restaurant 2nd BAT: Mini market/apartments, mini gas distribution center, apartments Now, I have some questions/doubts: 1 - I don't know how I should model or texture the restaurant so that it looks like the real one (link above) 2- I have no clue how the roofs should look like. Keep in mind that in many of these older Chilean buildings there is no AC system (in this case, since these buildings are in Santiago, they might have a gas heating system, but I'm not sure).
