  3. R$$ Pack Santiaguino 2

    Version 1.0.0

    589 Downloads

Brief Introduction This pack contains five models based on real life houses found throughout Santiago, Chile. I've included a variety of different architectural styles corresponding to different decades. Basic Information - Lot sizes: 1x1, 1x2, 2x2, 1x3. - Stages: 1, 2, 3 and 4. - Tileset: all - Standard Maxis Nightlights. Dependencies More than one dependency this time. Please note that you have to be registered in order to download the files at the LEX (I guess most of you already are). BSC MEGA Props CP Vol01 -- really popular, most of you should already have this. BSC MEGA Props CP Vol 02 -- again, quite popular. LBT Mega Prop Pack vol.01 -- same as the last two. Also, you should already have this if you've downloaded my previous files. Romualdillo Props VOL01 -- this should be the only dependency that you probably don't have yet. I also suggest checking out Romualdillo's incredibly detailed and superb spanish houses here. You can follow my work here. Enjoy!
  4. Hi everyone, so I'm a new poster to Simtropolis (have been lurking and playing SC4 for quite a long time). I'm hoping to add more visual diversity to my cities in SC4 while still having them grow naturally, so I was hoping to get some more residential structures-I'm tired of seeing the same 4 types of houses and apartments everywhere. I was hoping that maybe someone could make some lots representing real life examples of housing in Midwestern cities like my home St Louis, Chicago, Cincinnati, etc? All three cities, and all the cities of the Midwest, have too many unique examples to try and model, but here are 3 basic blueprints that i was hoping could be translated to SC4: St. Louis townhomes: -https://goo.gl/maps/WckNLUqQSRC2 -https://goo.gl/maps/hS7rM9q9jiE2 Chicago courtyard apartments: -https://goo.gl/maps/jAb8WKDr6YA2 -https://goo.gl/maps/K7XzZWyMdDU2 Cleveland single: -https://goo.gl/maps/LnnWtGQqBbD2 -https://goo.gl/maps/ootx4mv9FUq If someone could make lots out of these that fit the standard Maxis scale, that would be amazing! Thank you!
  5. Is this possible in Sim City 4?
  6. I know that there is a show us your small towns thread but this could be a "sub-thread" or something where everybody can show their little towns lying on the mountains. So here is my mountain town.

Well, it only took me three years. I created the first house model back in August of 2012. I was pretty good at avoiding making any progress on these for a while, but I finally got the urge to actually finish them over spring break a couple months back. Today, I present to you 8 house designs with 4 color variations each for a total of 32 unique houses. Additionally, I have modeled a small set of 9 detached garages to supplement the houses in a manner similar to what you might see in real life. However, for those of you who prefer the default Maxis garages, I am including a separate version that does not contain the ones I modeled. Also, for anyone who would like to use the garages (or the houses, of course) in your own lots, you hereby have my permission! These houses are all based on real world counterparts in the Morris Park neighborhood of South Minneapolis. To anyone who lives there: I apologize for spending hours on end looking at your house on Google Maps. It's only weird if you make it weird. The brilliant SimCoug has graciously lotted and modded a wide variety of lots of various sizes for this upload, which uses the following dependencies: JMyers Homes Vol 01 ('Props' and 'Textures' folders only)BSC Textures Pack CycleDog Vol 1BSC MEGA Props CP Vol01BSC MEGA Props CP Vol02BSC MEGA Props SG Vol01wmp_fence_props03.datwmp_garden_props02.dat KrashSpeed's Mailbox Set And, as always, the Darknite version requires this bad boy (http://community.simtropolis.com/files/file/23089-simfox-day-and-nite-modd/) for the dankest of dank nightviews. Huge thanks to SimCoug for his magnificent work on these! For the curious, the number of lots broken down by size: 2x3 - 2 (growth stage 1) 3x2 - 2 (growth stage 1) 2x2 - 4 (growth stage 2) 1x3 - 5 (growth stage 3) 1x2 - 5 (growth stage 4) 2x1 - 2 (growth stage 4) 1x1 - 5 (growth stage 5) 25 lots total, all of which grow on the Houston Tile set and have the same stats as R$$ standard Houston homes. Special thanks to our Dirktator for his patience with me while I experienced issues uploading! I'd also like to give a shoutout to the community at large for your continued support. I've been on this site for over 10 years now (which seems absolutely insane) and I've seen a lot of faces come and go, but the community as a whole is just as helpful and welcoming as it always has been. Enjoy! Or don't, I suppose, as long as you give me feedback.
  9. I currently work on an entry of my CJ and I want to build a village just with these lots, but my problem is that there are no Landmark versions of these included. I could really use them, because my Plugin folder is.....a bit "untidy" and I won't find any of the other R§ buildings, that hinder the fully development of the lots I want. And bulldozing everytime a unwanted lot appears doesn't functionate well too. So are there any landmark versions of these buildings, or can I create them with the LotEditor myself and if, how can I do this?^^ Thanks!
  10. LordShadow`s BAT`s

Hello! I'm new to modding for simcity 4. And I'm from Russia, my English is bad, and I use the Google translator. I'm trying to create a series of typical architecture of the USSR 60-90s. The particular series of the house - 90 (5 floors, 2 entrances). But I have a bug when exporting the model of BAT. When rendering LOD, 13% an error code=6. It's only when you try to export LOD of 3dsmax. If i am export model, create in Gmax BAT - all good. And I have a ready-made set of garages, functional - you can get this in attach.
  11. SimCoug's R$$ Diagonal Homes

    Version 1.0

    3,511 Downloads

Disclaimer: THIS SET OF LOTS IS NOT FOR EVERYBODY. Please read below for details. Description: This is a set of 30 growable R$$ lots using C.P.'s wonderful 19th Century $$ Houses. This is a unique set of lots because it is only intended for placement along diagonal roads, streets or avenues. THESE WILL NOT GROW ALONG ORTHGONAL ROADS. Each lot is modded to grow on a "corner", which is essentially what every diagonal road looks like to the game simulator. 15 of the lots will grow on "left corners" and 15 lots will grow on "right corners" so you will see a wide variety of lots. In addition, prop families were used liberally on the lots to ensure a diverse look. The included lot sizes are: 1x1, 1x2, 1x3, and 2x2. Each lot is modded with statistics equivalent to Maxis R$$ standard home values. These diagonal lots will only grow on the Chicago tileset (growth stages 1-3). Dependencies: BSC Textures Pack CycleDog Vol 1 BSC MEGA Props CP Vol01 BSC MEGA Props CP Vol02 BSC MEGA Props SG Vol01 SPAM Super Resource Pack (If you already use the full SPAM MOD you do not need this) JMyers Homes Vol 01 ('Props' and 'Textures' folders only) CP Early 19th Century $$ Houses ('CP_Early19thCent_MedHse_models.dat' file only) Installation: Simply unzip the file and put the 'SimCougs R$$ Diagonal Homes' folder in your plugins (don't forget the dependencies). Place the 'SimCoug Diagonal Home Tutorial' outside of your plugin folder - this is simply a series of images to help you with the placement of these lots. Developer notes: I will repeat this again: THIS SET OF LOTS IS NOT FOR EVERYBODY. It will take time and patience to grow these lots along diagonal roads as they were intended. While the modding of these lots ensures that they will not grow on orthogonal roads, orthogonal lots can and will grow along diagonal roads. That means you mayhave a wild mix of lots along your diagonal roads. In order to keep things in line, you will need to keep your bulldoze tool handy, and be quick to mark the 'Make Historical" box in the query. Please take a look at the tutorial images included with this download for more details. Support: For comments, questions or help, please visit SimCoug's Lot&Mod Den Special Thanks: Thanks to OP4 for creating the BLAM blank, which was used as the building model for these lots. A special thanks to C.P. for creating the brilliant 19th Century $$ House set (and including diagonal models!) Thanks to the great BATers who generously shared their prop models - this set would not be possible without them. Also, thanks for the gang over at SimPeg for all the suggestions and encouragement.
  12. SimCoug's Old R$ Neighborhoods

    Version 1.0

Description: This is a set of 50 growable R$ lots using a variety of small low wealth homes. 3 prop families were created from the various Maxis low wealth homes and are included with this set in order to maximize the variety of each lot. In addition, I created a prop family using OnlyPlace4's Wild West shotgun houses. The included lot sizes are: 1x1, 1x2, 2x1, 1x3, 2x2, 2x3, 3x2, 3x3 and 3x4. Each lot is modded with statistics equivalent to Maxis R$ values. These 'neighborhoods' will only grow on the Chicago tile set (growth stages 1-3). Dependencies: BSC Textures Pack CycleDog Vol 1 BSC MEGA Props CP Vol01 BSC MEGA Props CP Vol02 BSC MEGA Props SG Vol01 SPAM Super Resource Pack (If you already use the full SPAM MOD you do not need this) Wild West Shotgun House Growable by onlyplace4 ('Wild West Shotgun House Props.dat' file only) CP Early 19th Century Small $ Houses ('CP_Early19thCentury_Small$Houses.dat' file only) wmp_fence_props03.dat by DocRorlach (this is a direct download link) wmp_garden_props02.dat by DocRorlach (this is a direct download link) KrashSpeed Mailbox Set Maxis bldgprop_vol1.dat & bldgprop_vol2.dat (everyone should have these) Installation: Simply unzip the file and put the entire 'SimCougs Old R$ Neighborhoods' folder in your plugins (don't forget the dependencies). Developer notes: I know, I know, you are all thinking "Holy stinkin' propbarf Batman!" Yes, I realize the dependency list is extensive, but I like details on my lots, and these prop and texture packs have been hand-picked to offer the greatest bang for the buck. As always, prop families were used extensively, so I guarantee you will not find the exact same lot twice (and if you do, you should buy a lotto ticket). These lots were put together with my CJ New SorGun in mind, so they have more historical feel but they will not look out of place in your rural areas. The smaller lot sizes have a fairly generic look and will blend together easily. Many of the larger lot sizes have some unique flair in order to add some character to your neighborhoods. By mixing and matching the different lot sizes, you should be able to create completely unique low wealth neighborhoods. I welcome any and all feedback, especially if it will make my future lot sets better. Thank you. Support: For comments, questions or help, please visit SimCoug's Lot&Mod Den Special Thanks: Thanks to OP4 for creating the BLAM blank, which was used as the model for these lots. Thanks to the great BATers who generously shared their prop models - this set would not be possible without them. Also, thanks for the gang over at SimPeg for all the suggestions and encouragement.
  13. SimCoug Maxis R$$ Homes

    Version 1.0

    3,573 Downloads

Description: This is a set of 50 growable R$$ lots using the Maxis R$$ standard homes from the New York and Chicago tile sets. 4 prop families were created from the various Maxis homes and are included with this set in order to maximize the variety of each lot. In addition, Krashspeed was kind enough to masterfully BAT a set of beautiful mailbox props which are featured on these lots as a sort of sneak-peak. The full mailbox prop set will be released on the STEX shortly. The included lot sizes are: 1x1, 1x2, 2x1, 1x3 and 2x2 Each lot is modded with nearly identical statistics as the standard Maxis R$$ homes. In addition, these houses will only grow on the Chicago and New York tile sets (growth stages 1-3). And because these lots include a custom .desc file, maxis blockers will have no effect on these lots. If you truly hate Maxis houses, do not download this set Dependencies: JMyers Homes Vol 01 ('Props' and 'Textures' folders only) BSC Textures Pack CycleDog Vol 1 BSC MEGA Props CP Vol01 BSC MEGA Props CP Vol02 BSC MEGA Props SG Vol01 SPAM Super Resource Pack (If you already use the full SPAM MOD you do not need this) Maxis bldgprop_vol1.dat (everyone should have this) Installation: Simply unzip the file and put the entire 'SimCougs Maxis R$$ Homes' folder in your plugins. If you are picky about lot size, feel free to add or remove the various lot .dat files, as they are organized by lot size. Developer notes: These could be considered a sequel of sorts to the Jmyers re-lots that I released earlier (with nearly the same dependencies). Like those lots, these lots were built with a more rural/historical feel. I think they will fit in any city, but you will not see any cars on these lots. Also, these lots take advantage of CP's seasonal flora - so if you do not like your flora changing with the seasons, you have been warned. Support: For comments, questions or help, please visit SimCoug's Lot&Mod Den Special Thanks: Thanks to OP4 for creating the BLAM blank, which was used as the model for these lots. Also, thanks for the gang over at SimPeg for all the suggestions and encouragement. And finally, a very special thanks to Krashspeed for allowing me to use his great mailbox models.

Discription: This set includes 47 new growable lots to be used with JMyers Homes Vol1. Every new lot takes advantage of the Building Families that JMyers created. Each orthogonal home has between 6-7 new lots, and every diagonal home has between 4-5. This set is designed to significantly increase the variety of lots for these wonderful BATs that JMyers created. These new lots fit with 8 models (see sub-folders for model names) - the rest of the models will be included in Vol2 (if I ever get around to it). I've created these lots with a more rural, older style in mind (think dirt and gravel instead of pavement) and I made use of as many prop families as possible to increase the variety even further. Lot sizes are 1x1, 1x2, and 1x3 (straight road and corners included) In order to cut down on dependencies, the only prop pack that I used in addition to those required by JMyers Homes Vol01 is SimGoobers Mega Prop Vol01. Installation: Simply put the main folder in your plugins - the sub folders are arranged by JMyers building models, so you can add or remove lots as you see fit. Dependencies: JMyers Homes Vol 01 BSC Textures Pack CycleDog Vol 1 (also required for JMyers Homes Vol1) BSC MEGA Props CP Vol01 (also required for JMyers Homes Vol1) BSC MEGA Props CP Vol02 (also required for JMyers Homes Vol1) BSC MEGA Props SG Vol01 For comments, questions or help, please visit SimCoug's Lot&Mod Den Finally, I'd like to thank JMyers for sharing such a beautiful set of houses and the folks at SimPeg for giving these lots a test run and offering valuable feedback.
  15. A city isn't a city without its residential neighborhoods. Residences, although a vital part of a city, seems to be overlooked in this forum in favor of office towers, grand civic buildings, superhighways, and other glamour structures. Here, I present photos of neighborhoods and residences in my area, and I encourage others to post photos of residential buildings around you. Container Cities offer an alternative solution to traditional space provision. They are ideal for office and workspace, live-work and key-worker housing. Three landmark lots, 2x3 and 3x3, roughly based on the Container City idea in London, UK. Three landmark lots without jobs: 2x2, 2x2, 2x3. All models are rendered in HD. Most of the dependencies, with perchance the exception of Orange TSC's cars, are common enough to already exist in everyone's SC4 plugins folder. Dependencies: #1 BSC MEGA Props CP Vol01 #2 BSC MEGA Props - Misc Vol02.dat #3 OrangeTSC MegaProp V.01.dat #4 PEG-SPAM_TEXTURES_RESOURCE_b200.dat #5 BSC Textures Vol 01 Thanks go to the Pegasus, BSC, WMP, and Orange TSC for their excellent props and textures. re-Factory lots are also available at the WMP Exchange.
