  1. Hey guys, I am relatively new to GMax (which wasn't an easy program to find). I recently downloaded a pretty nice model from turbo squid to import into the game, but the .3ds file that I imported into GMax appears to be missing front, left, and perspective meshes. Also, the textures aren't mapping. I've included the original file image and a screenshot of GMax. Any ideas? Thanks! Joe

    Hi, yeah they came with it but they don't map properly. I see now that there is a disclaimer that while this model works well in Lightwave the textures may not work with the 3ds version. No problem -- but I would love to get an early 18th century cabin as I'm working on a specific theme plugin library. Thanks for responding!

    Thanks, @Jasoncw I'll give your suggestions a try. I have noticed on TurboSquid a lot of the content doesn't really work straight out of the box, so perhaps I need to get a fullblown version of 3d Studio Max ( you are one of my favorite modders, btw, downloaded lots of your stuff!)

    These are so good. I'd love to see some color variants (maybe white, yellow?). These types of federal homes are all over new england but you also see them in cities like Richmond and Alexandria. Nice work!!

    These look incredible! Sadly, my game doesn't start when I include them ( on a Mac, sometimes I have issues with random mods). But nice work!

    This is a breathtaking cityscape. I am curious about your diagonal residential zones that appear to be facing pedestrian sidewalks. Are the residentials facing the street, or the pedestrian paths ?

    Buddybud made these amazing walls for SimCity 4, which are used by, probably, thousands of simmers. And then he just disappeared...where do these legendary batters go ? Just get bored of the game? Get married? Kids? I've been playing this game on and off for 17 years. Yikes. Anyway, buddybud, your contribution is highly valued. Thank you.
