All killer no filler? More like all filler no killer. Based on a real building at 140 East 19th Street in Denver, Colorado, it's not exactly a landmark, but something about it still caught my eye. I also wanted to squeeze a little extra mileage out of the metal material I made for the Silberturm, so here we are. This building sits on a 2x1 lot and comes in growable and ploppable CO$$ varieties, both of which provide 206 jobs. It's not exactly a W2W because it maxes out the lot dimensions, but I found that it looks decent in a W2W setting. Both Darknite and Maxisnite versions are provided. Only one may be used at a time. The Darknite version requires SimFox's Day and Nite Modd. Dependencies: None Special thanks to @Barroco Hispano for the car models! Enjoy!

A cozy little low rise apartment in Denver I saw on the The Shining TV miniseries (thanks to @sarcosis for reminding me where I saw it). I have never been to Denver so I can't add much other than it seems like a decent little neighborhood it is located in. Like most in game apartments it is a 3x2 lot, this one I made into R$ since it looks older and quite plain. Not really sure what else to add, I gave it standard boring night lights but I might go back and give it a manually lit interior at some point.

Republic Plaza is a skyscraper in Denver, Colorado. Rising 714 feet (218 m),[3] the building currently stands as the tallest building in the city of Denver and the entire Rocky Mountain region of the United States.[2] It was built in 1984, and contains 56 floors, the majority of which are used as office space. Republic Plaza currently stands as the 137th-tallest building in the United States. Designed by Skidmore, Owings & Merrill and built of reinforced concrete clad in Sardinian granite,[2] Republic Plaza includes 1,200,000 square feet (110,000 m2) of office space, and three retail levels containing shops, restaurants, and service businesses. The building has a 3-story marble lobby that features a quarterly "Art in Public Places" program of Colorado and regional artists. 5. Hey Simtropolis! I'm a pretty new player / Simtrop lurker, and was wondering if I could solicit the community's collective wisdom on resources to do a few things: 1) Help me to put a grid on my town of Boulder, Colorado using Google Maps + whatever grid-making software. I made a large-tile-sized square (4.09 km on each side) on Google Maps using ScribbleMaps: https://www.scribblemaps.com/maps/view/Central_Boulder/BoulderSC4, and now I suppose I need to draw a grid on it (256X256 right?). I'm not sure what the best way to do that is. I can eyeball it, of course, but was hoping to get more detail in case I feel the need to micromanage 65,536 individual tiles (like ya do). (edit to add: I'd also be willing to look at slicing the gmap into 128X128 or even 64X64 if it's significantly easier or if there's a cost differential) 2) Help me think about ways to re-create the University of Colorado, which is pretty large and triangular campus that'll sit in the bottom middle portion of the city tile. The standard Maxis Uni won't cut it, and while I could try to create some ad hoc triangular area that incorporates other educational facilities, I'm again hoping for something more robust and customized. 3) Help me find good ways to re-create the bike and pedestrian Boulder Creek path, which meanders its way East-West through most of the middle city and has lots of diagonal parts. Also - any suggestions on how to create a SHALLOW creek area (and other terraforming / landscape general ideas) would be appreciated. 4) And last but not least, help me conceptualize creating a City Journal for this, since I never have before! Any and all help appreciated, I'll keep you posted with what I come up with! Cheers, Neil

About This File Wells Fargo Center is a building located in Denver, Colorado, United States. It resembles a cash register or mailboxand is known locally as the "Cash Register Building" or the "Mailbox Building". It is 698 feet (213 m) high, the third tallest building in Denver. It is shorter than the Republic Plaza building 714 feet (218 m) and the CenturyLink Tower, at 709 feet (216 m). The building sits on a hill, making its overall elevation higher than the two taller buildings, but its ground-to-roof height is less. It is 52 stories tall. The building was designed by architect Philip Johnson and was completed in 1983. As it was originally designed for a downtown area in Texas, a heated roof is necessary to prevent snow from accumulating and sliding dangerously off the curved crown. Located at 1700 Lincoln Street, a skybridge over Lincoln Street connects the Wells Fargo Center to the building at 1700 Broadway which houses a food court, a small museum featuring artifacts, and memorabilia from Wells Fargo history, and the Downtown Denver branch of Wells Fargo Bank. Both buildings have large atriums constructed in the same cash register style. The building stands as the second-tallest building in Denver and Colorado, and as the 111th-tallest building in the United States. 1801 California Street was previously occupied by offices for US West, and then served as the world headquarters ofQwest Communications. In summer 2011 following CenturyLink's acquisition of Qwest, the Qwest sign was removed from the top and replaced with the CenturyLink sign. Upon its completion in 1983, the building stood as the tallest building in the city. However, it held that distinction for less than a year, being surpassed by Republic Plaza in 1984. The Frederic C. Hamilton Building holds the Modern and Contemporary art collection, along with the Architecture and Design collection, and Oceanic art collection. The unique building also serves as the main entrance to the rest of the museum complex.[8]This ambitious project doubled the size of the museum, allowing for an expansion of the art on view, inside a bold aesthetic facade. The complex deconstructivist geometric design of the Hamilton building consists 20 sloping planes, covered in 230,000 square feet of titanium shingles. The angular design juts in many directions, supported by a 2,740-ton structure that contains more than 3,100 pieces of steel. One of the angled elements extends 100 feet (30 m) over the street below. None of the 20 planes is parallel or perpendicular to another.[9] The design uses many extended angular planes to be reminiscent of the natural landscape. Similar to the peaked roof of theDenver International Airport, the Hamilton building emulates the sharp angles of the nearby Rocky Mountains, as well as the geometric crystals found at the mountains' base near Denver. Daniel Libeskind, architect of the building, said “I was inspired by the light and geology of the Rockies, but most of all by the wide-open faces of the people of Denver." The titanium panels also reflect the light of the Colorado sunshine. Context Regarding the entire design concept, Libeskind commented, “The project is not designed as a standalone building but as part of a composition of public spaces, monuments and gateways in this developing part of the city, contributing to the synergy amongst neighbors large and intimate.” Link: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Denver_Art_Museum#Hamilton_Building This file Includes: A fuctional Museum With 11, 000 Tickets. G'Day Simtropians, Today I wish to present a map requested courtesy of Marsh, Legooman and Portie, Thanks guys, it is of Denver the Capital of Colorado on the edge of the Rockies. See me up CLOSE and personal. This is a real world map and measures 57.344km x 57.344km. It was produced with dem data and is accurate in scale and terrain. Wouangaine's mapper or terraformer is required to import the .sc4m file into one's game. A readme is included detailing the procedure and including links to mapper and terraformer. A picture of the region is free. That I think is about all Cheers

But, due to the growth of the base a double stack interstate was needed to save space Officer housing next to the base headquarters. The barracks and the base track
  16. Denver, Boulder, Aurora Metro, CO (TEASER)

Denver, CO To start off with, this is my first CJ in over two or three years. I've been working on this Denver map for almost a month now. Life, and work is really busy. I haven't been able to do much on here in a long time due to work, training, and moving. I at least wanted to show what I'm doing, how far I've come along with this, and soon present progress with this map. I'm going to try to do weekly updates, but I doubt that'll happen; due to work and its high demands... Go Air Force! AFSOC.
